RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Posiedon - Oct. 25, 2010 My friend has recently gotten the LF stadium , and I have been intrigued by it's design. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Oct. 25, 2010 i agree, mobile was smaller than i imagined...what i find interesting is that no one has tested it yet, while we have already tested LF, PTW, and Super Vortex RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Gearfried97 - Oct. 25, 2010 (Oct. 25, 2010 2:33 AM)Leonwind Wrote: i agree, mobile was smaller than i imagined...what i find interesting is that no one has tested it yet, while we have already tested LF, PTW, and Super Vortex my friend had the mobile stadium. its WAY too small for anything some of the gimmicked tracks like C145 and H145 (mostly H145) hit the tornado ridge and loose tons of stamina like that RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - $uck@Beyblade - Nov. 10, 2010 i already have the pegasis thunder whip so i couldnt buy this one but i tried it ( tested ) in one of those demo stores ( target) and to be amazed u can slide shoot in this one RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Nov. 10, 2010 sliding sboot actualy doeswork here, unlike PTW i have made a discovery. although Attack types are better here than all other Hasbro Stadiums, they are still hindered mainly by the Tornado Ridge. However, I habe figured out a way to semi level the playing field here is a test between Earth Aquario ED145 WD and Storm Pegasis 100RF (3/4 worn) All hasbro parts, launchers and ripcords and in LF stadium. Aquario was launched first. Aprox 2-3 seconds later, Peggy was launched with the sliding shoot. There were a total of 10 battles. All ties/self KO's/mislaunches were redone under these same conditions and did not count towards the final results Aquario - 6 wins •5 by outspins: Pegasis made little to no contact until the end, until there was almost no power left. •1 by KO into pocket: Result of a huge attack and recoil by both beys. Somehow Aquario managed to survive, probobly because of its weight Pegasis - 4 wins •2 by spinouts: Pegasis lands repeated powerful smash attacks at Aquario until it looses spin and balance, which then allowed Pegasis to attack the vulnerable ED145 track. *Pegasis spun out only 2-3 seconds later* •2 by KOs into pockets: Powerful and repeated Smash attacks at Aquario from all angles. Happned both times durring the first 15 seconds of the match now this is the interesting part. I took an old Hasbro Dragoon Ripcord and used it with Pegasis, meanwhile i kept Aquario's cord the same as before. Otherwose, same rules and conditions as before. Here is the difference. Aquario - 4 wins •4 wins by Spinout: Unlike last time, Pegasis landed more of attacks earlier on, but not quite enough. No wins by KO and Aquario generally spun out 10-15 seconds after winning, as apposed to before, which was 15-20 seconds. Pegasis - 6 wins •2 wins by Spinout: Practicaly same story as last time, but Pegasis had about 2 more seconds of life compared to last time after winning •4 wins by KOs into pockets: I will admit, Pegasis did self KO 5x in total, 2x in the 1st test, 3x in this one. However, the amount of power this bey recieved was amazing! EXTREMLY powerful smash and irratic movement lead to hardcore KO's! For the most part, self KO's can be solved via mastery of the sliding shoot, btw In conclusion, the use of a longer ripcord with attack types seems to even the playing field in this stadium when versing a Defense/Stamina type using a shorter ripcord. When i get a metal face (very soon) i will do more tets to see if the MF can solve the problem of self KO's by attack types, since the weight will reduce the irratic mivement, but for the most part, the beys power should not change much. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Pimpju - Nov. 10, 2010 MF really makes a difference. I've bought this and used it, it's pitiful. The tornado ridge is bad, but the odd shaping of the Hasbro stadiums really makes for more random movement. IMO, a good sliding shoot/banking in this is impossible. Your testing is testament to my point, as Earth aquario ED145WD would normally be decimated. Anyway, why aren't you using a beylauncher? It has a higher max. spin velocity as opposed to the light/right launchers, so it's much more beneficial as opposed to using the right/light launchers. Presumably, it would improve your results if you use a beylauncher with the attack combo, and a right/light launcher with your defence combo. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Nov. 10, 2010 thats another thing i have to get. currently i do not own a beylauncher/string launcher i am going to assume that the 1st commet was sarcastic, based on the comment that followed? wouldnt a MF allow more control for attack types? Hasbro Earth and Aquario are top tier...but ya, WD and especialy ED145 are questionable as they arent top tier. its a good bey, but ya, i really need GB145. Currently, that is as good as it gets. should i have used regular 145, or maybe even 125? regarding your last comment, when i do get the Hasbro String Launcher, that willbe the very 1st thing I do with it Thanks for all the very helpful advice for my future testings on this theory of mine =D much appreciated RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Dan - Nov. 10, 2010 MF makes a big difference, yes. GET a stringlauncher. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Nov. 10, 2010 oh i see. before he ment that the stadium was pitiful. thanks Dan! just to give you all a heads up, my next test that i post will consist of MF Lightning Ldrago (Upper) 100RF (3/4 worn) and an earth custom (depending on what parts i get). Ldrago will use a String Launcher and the Earth bey will use either a short or dragoon ripcord with a light launcher. and if possible, i may attempt to obtain launcher grips. just give me some time =D RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Dan - Nov. 10, 2010 You bought/have a TT LLDrago? I really suggest you do testing after you get a stringlauncher. Though, I can tell you now, that this stadium is still pitiful. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Nov. 11, 2010 no, a hasbro Ldrago. why does it have to be a TT? hasbro beys are generally better anyways do you even own an LF? its not TT standard, but its the best the US has got. i literaly just said i would... and although i have the LLdrago, i must wait. it is a holiday gift for my brother RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Deadpool - Nov. 11, 2010 (Nov. 11, 2010 1:05 AM)LeonTempestXIII Wrote: no, a hasbro Ldrago. why does it have to be a TT? hasbro beys are generally better anyways It doesnt have to. And not neccessarily , there just made from higher quality materials. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Kai-V - Nov. 11, 2010 (Nov. 11, 2010 1:05 AM)LeonTempestXIII Wrote: no, a hasbro Ldrago. why does it have to be a TT? hasbro beys are generally better anywaysHe was asking because you wrote that it would be used with a Beylauncher ... That cannot be done unless you have L Drago, Lightning L Drago or Meteo L Drago from TAKARA-TOMY, or Gravity Perseus. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Nov. 11, 2010 oh ya...that is kind of a key factor 0_o in that case maybe 2 seperate tests are necisary...One witg LLdrago + dragoon ripcord and another with Peggy and the string launcher RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Mc Frown - Nov. 11, 2010 Then the test gives one side an unfair advantage, and is invalid. It'd be a worthless test anyways. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Dan - Nov. 11, 2010 Well, I thank you all for posting my mind while I wasn't on. Seriously, RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Nov. 11, 2010 @Mcfrown: Um...no. Attack types will generaly always lose to other types in this stadium. However, by applying a longer ripcord or string launcher, attack types gain the extra power they need to actualy have a fair battle in this stadium. so no...you are wrong. this isnt pointless and technicaly, no one side has any advantage, as attack types were at a disadvantage to begin with back on topic, i will try to get these test results up ASAP! (i just need a dam string launcher lol) RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Byser - Nov. 11, 2010 ...He's talking about your tests regarding L-Drago and Pegasis. The fact that you're testing Pegasis using the string launcher and L-Drago using a light launcher is inaccurate, considering the string launcher is more powerful than the light launcher... You're giving Pegasis and edge over L-Drago. EDIT: Nevermind, I think I misread what he was talking about. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Nov. 11, 2010 that part i understoid. however, i cannot buy a Beylauncher L at this time, so I am stuck woth Peggy + String Launcher and LLDrago + longer ripcord. should i just forget about testing LLDrago and only test with Storm Peggy 100 RF? RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - blah - Nov. 11, 2010 No, you should test LLDrago as well, to see if the results are accurate. And can't you just order one online or something ? They're quite cheap... RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - LeonTempest - Nov. 11, 2010 tell that to my parents...they think EVERYTHING over the internet is some sort of scam. thats not true...only half of the internet is lol and thank you Blah RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - GIYGAS - ãƒãƒ‹ãƒ¼ - Nov. 11, 2010 No need to test Lightning L-Drago. I was with a couple of other guys with beyblades and L-Drago only won 2/10 times average against any of our beys. L-Drago isn't very good unless you have a long ripcord or have good launching power with a string launcher. Those 2 times L-Drago won are becuase of Pockets, but L-Drago's stamina is just horrible... Also... Is my signature still WAY too big? I'm still working on to make it smaller... It's really annoying... RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Byser - Nov. 11, 2010 Those don't mean much unless you mention what you tested it against. Did you at least customize L-Drago? Also, of course L-Drago has bad stamina. It's an attack type; it's meant to win quickly by pocketing the opponent. RE: Hasbro Lightning Force Stadium Review - Pimpju - Nov. 11, 2010 LeonTempest, I know you're fighting really hard for this to be "viable" however, I honestly think this is NOWHERE near as good as a TT stadium. I really think it should not be endorsed in anyway, unless someone literally has no access to purchasing online. |
