It's hanging on by a thread in some anti-attack combos, but as much as I'd hate to see it go it might need to be replaced by Synchroms soon. Basalt's main postitive trait was its weight, but in a Zero-G meta it's a lightweight, haha!

It's not top-tier for defense at all, if that's what you're asking. Flash bodies it unless Basalt is on RF.

Not really because a heavier object will also not go very fast. Plus, you cannot just take that into consideration : you have to think about the projections as well, and Basalt almost has none.

At the same time though, he is partly correct if we forget Attack, and think about Anti Attack.
A heavier body (or one with less recoil) has all chances to push back a lighter wheel. So yeah.
But, as Ingulit said, Basalt is actually considered a light-weight these days; which is why it is losing out on everything in todays meta.
Plus, Flash kills it. So it is almost out now...

depends. If you find a use for it then yes. But IIRC all left spin track/tips are useless except LRF.


To my question, what would be the most powerful attack orientated Chrome wheels? I have a guess of maybe Balro and Pegasus... But I don't know for sure.

Well the name kinda speaks for itself but its a type of bey that negate the attack power of an attack type bey by attacking it with a lot of power to throw it off balance or making it lose stamina with its spin track the best anti-attackers r diablo and basalt paired with an attack tip and r145 or tr145 I don't like this type of bey because its much simpler and more effective to use a plain defense type and it doesn't work as well with tall attack type beys. I consider them more of an anti-tornado staller, but people hardly use tornado stallers .

Its not illegal anymore since it was banned in the first place for its heavy weight. IIRC TT had a weight limit long ago when libra was used competitively, so it ended up being banned at the time. Nowadays its light compared to synchromes and all, and theres no weight limit anymore.

I am sorry to say, but your understanding of Anti-Attack is truly distorted.
First up, Anti-Attack is not a type of combo. If it was, Takara Tomy would have had an official term for it. Kei recently spoke of it, and mentioned that it is a technique.

Secondly, Anti-Attack is not about making Attackers lose stamina. An Attacker's stamina is hardly a concern for anyone- as it is so low already. Also, it has nothing to do with the spin track. As any other bey, the main role is that of the Metal Wheel. Spin Track adds a secondary benefit.

Thirdly, these are highly effective Defense types IF used correctly. They are not totally useless, and there's a reason why we have such special combos being chosen over regular Defense types in certain situations.

Lastly, if you think them to be Anti-Tornado Stallers, it shows that you don't understand the mechanism of Anti-Attack. Anti-Attack combos need to be Tornado Stalled so that they can KO an Attack type when it is performing a flower pattern. As an Attacker moves in a flower pattern, when it reaches the upper region of the slope (nearer to the exits) it has no chance to resist an Attack from the side. Thus when a Tornado-Stalled Anti-Attacker comes in contact with a Slide Shot Attacker close to the Tornado Ridge, it can KO the Attack combo EASILY. Actually, Attackers are usually Tornado Stalled in Attack Vs. Attack or Attack Vs. Anti-Attack matches. Because if they are Slide Shot, it is a clear loss. So Anti-Attack is not specifically aimed at countering just Tornado Stalled Attackers.
Tornado Stalled Attackers actually manage to move quicker(as these are usually lighter; refer to Kai-V's post above) than the Anti-Attack combo, and are sometimes able to catch up from behind (both beys spinning in the same direction) and KO Anti-Attack. If the two beys spin in opposite directions, there is a head-on collision, and usually the heavier one (and one with lesser recoil) wins. As Anti-Attack Defense combos incorporate heavy (mostly low-recoil) wheels on aggressive tips, they usually counter Left-Spin Attackers with ease.
The track selection of Anti-Attack is usually made to fulfill a certain purpose. It may either add to the aggressiveness of the combo, or add more weight to it. R145 is one such track which fulfills both purposes. BD145 adds weight to the combo. I don't exactly know much about TR145, so I can't say why it is used for Anti-Attack as well...

TR145 adds LAD to combos. It's best used with OHKO or imbalanced wheels.

Hi, already posted this but was told it was on the wrong section, anyways i used to be a massive fan of beyblades as a kid and owned 2 beyblades (Master Dranzer and Drigger). I remember making up all these cool story lines and playing for hours everyday with my beyblades. Unfortunately ive lost both of my beyblades some years ago. Just a few days ago for some random reason i had a sudden urge to beyblade and i thought it would be awesome to beyblade with my little brother too, who has never beybladed. However theres a whole new generation of beyblades which from researching are called metal fusion hyperblades i think Confused I have no idea which ones to buy. So im asking for a bit of advice of which 2 beyblades i should get. I would be grateful if some of you dudes give me some advice. Basic requirements are that they look cool and are fun to play with. Thanks!

Hello, can someone please help me with my Dragoon V2 (RA-01), I put batteries in the launcher (Eveready Super Heavy Duty, if that helps), then turned it on and put the beyblade in the charging plug. Now, according to the manual, the charging light should light up but it doesn't, what does this mean?
