I think this rumor is pushing some boundaries. I don't think Odin would have 幻 because the other Layers in the RLC would have to be in the same weight range as it. That's why Dread Bahamut came with 天 instead. Also, Garia and Apocalypse would be repeated abbreviations, especially now that we have Ashura with A and Achilles with possibly an upside down A for the abbreviation. Even If Garia was Regalia, it would clash with Rock. Garia and Apocalypse had Weights built in, so they might be true on that condition.

almost  I think it's going to have a spring to reverse it so if you can't fully burst in one blow it resets itself it's strong enough to reverse the clicks but not too strong kids can't undo it

I'm pretty sure they have GT Chips (not to be confused with weights) that look to be weirdly shaped. Maybe they're exclusive to the Wrath and Regalia Bases.

Basically, the lock on Apocalypse and I assume Genesis is that their lock is free-spinning, meaning that it is impossible to burst as the disc spins 360 around the layer. How to unlock it is unknown. Hopefully we'll get more info on how the new system works. And there is no proof that the metal blocks the usage of other Weights for the Knockout Base.
