Well it's more comfortable. I wear my seatbelt 99% of the time but I much prefer not to. I like the freedom of movement.

Yet they wonder why it pisses me off that at school we have to travel in either a minibus with no seatbelts whatsoever or a coack where we get lap belts and a massive sharp metal ash tray in the hard wooden back of the seat about a foot from our face. Not to mention the drivers we get are carp, one boarded the "sidewalk" once. (using the american term for the benefit of you guys lol)
