I got into Beyblade during Valt's Burst series. I had gotten a ton of Beys and gimmicks and it keeps growing. I have Beyblade X now and did my first comp and was very happy with it. I did ok. Not much of a victor but it was fun! I built my own personal Dragoon out of my Beyblade X tops so I'm pretty cool...

I got into it because when it first came out when I was younger I found the anime and thought it was cool, I wanted to try it out so I got a stadium and a few Beys for myself and my best friend. Over the years I got in and out of it until X where I went all in.

I got into beyblades because I enjoy the action. I also came from TCG games which can cost over thousands of dollars just to play a deck to try to compete with it just drop down in price after a ban list. Beyblades can be played at so many age groups and fast to learn.

metal fight was the first time i found out about beyblade, i liked it bc the ttheme song was awsome and i wanted to play it. then...burst era......i saw the anime and said "WTF DID THEY DOO" then i didnt find out about x era until last year and i fell in love with beyblade again, where the cycle repeats it self, i watched the anime and said "this is a bop" and bought some beyblades too lul

Hello all! Rookie here. I got into beyblade because I wandered into the toy aisle at Walmart and I saw Beyblade X and Bakugan. I had no clue to either of these toys and Bakugan also has a top style feature. I did my research and here I am! I fell into the rabbit hole and I’m so intrigued with the sport. I’m glad with the choice I made!
The Beys are awesome! I dunno how I missed this when I was younger! I’m glad it has a huge following and has this active community!
SeaBass90, thank you for making this thread! it withstood the test of time! More and more people are getting into Beyblade X and it’s exciting! I got my friend into it too! It’s cool to read where everyone got their start!
I’m invested and I hope to meet some of you in upcoming tournaments!

i saw the metal saga anime on netflix and at a second hand market recognized them, much later i saw a toy store selling their old stock of sealed metal master beys, so i got a bunch for relatively cheap

When I was a kid, it was definitely the anime that got me into it and the toys that hooked me. Their designs, especially from V force - HMS, were beautiful. As an adult, I haven't watched the new Anime at all, but one Christmas my Niece asked for Beyblades and that made me look into Burst and then X and the competitiveness of the X Scene is really drawing me in. That and (some) of the blades are really pretty too. Haven't properly played, but I actively consume Beyblade content again and it's made me a bit nostalgic for the OG days.

5th grade recess, a kid brought them and I had lots of fun, after getting my first two (slingshock beys) I was hooked ever since, left beyblade after rise (surge-Quadstrike) didn’t appeal to me, and X brought me back

One day coming home from school my Mom surprised me with a Beyblade from burst era. Soon she got my brothers some and then we got the arena. I took a break and lost a few but now with X I buy any I can afford!

I was into plastic gen and metal fight but since I was so young, it was just what my parents could buy me.
Now as an adult, my girlfriend's cousin was making deck cases for a local store and eventually she bought me WR for Christmas which made me go down the rabbit hole LOL

I started to get into Beyblade around the Metal Fight era. My elementary school friends and I were playing Beyblade, and my first ever and only Bey was Twisted Tempo. I took a little break around the burst era, and when X came, I started to love it again, and it is now one of my favorite hobbies. Now I have money to get more and preorder Beyblades to collect and play. Beyblade is still on my top 5 toys and games of all time. I obviously watched the anime and I'm now rewatching metal fusion for nostalgia
