Cloud walked up to the stadium, and looked across to Ivan, who wasn't staring back, but was growling angrily. He attached his Diablo Nemesis X : D.

However, Cloud did not pull out the Orojya his friends kept seeing him use. It was no longer 90WD. It was now Shinobi Orojya S130MB, the same combo he had at the last tournament.

His friends, in awe, looked as he attached the bey to his launcher. Ivan growled louder as he did so.

3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!

Orojya and Nemesis landed, and immediately Nemesis attacked. Nemesis, despite it's brute weight, wasn't able to budge Orojya like it used to in the past. Orojya stood firm and eventually pushed Nemesis back for a second.

Nemesis once again tried to get a push on Orojya, but was once again pushed back.

"Nemesis. Special Move, Devil's Rage." Ivan said demonically. The attack landed right on the facebolt. Cloud heard a small crack.

"Orojya!!!" he yelled, and as the smoke cloud from the shot rose, he saw Orojya still spinning stable.

"Thank god. Now Orojya, Orojya Spear!!!" Cloud commanded.

A Purple Aura surrounded Orojya as it struck right on Nemesis. A crack similar to the one that Orojya had came from Nemesis' facebolt. The smoke settled, and Nemesis was still spinning.

"Since it appears you won't give up easily, I have to take desperate measures..." Ivan said deeply.

"W...What...do you mean???" Cloud said, scared.

All of a sudden, a giant gate opened, and Orojya was sucked in as Ivan and Nemesis entered. Chains reached out from the door. Cloud tried to run, but was grabbed by his ankle, and eventually wrapped by all of his limbs.

"HELLLLLLLLLP!!!!" Cloud yelled in desperation.

His friends could do nothing as They saw Cloud disappear in the darkness as the door closed and faded. Miles looked across. Antoine and Vladimir were freaking out, wondering what the hell happened. Even R-Dev looked shocked as he wandered around the stadium, seemingly trying to feel a presence.

"DA HELL JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!?!" Devin said, astonished.

"I do not feel a presence of Ivan, Cloud, or of either beys in this stadium." R-Dev said out loud. "They have...disappeared..."

"Where could they have gone?" Miles wondered.

"Wait..." R-Dev said again. "I feel something..."

He kneeled down and put his hand on the ground. "I found them..."

"Where the hell are they?" Devin said.

"You just said it..." R-Dev replied sternly. "Hell..."

Then, a spiritual voice. It was Ivan's...

"You won't know what is going on..." it said. "But let me give you a hint, of what I expect..."

A silhouette of Cloud then appeared standing in the center of the stadium, looking down. It turned to Miles and rose its head. The silhouette of Cloud opened it's eyes. Its color and its pupils were missing. It was only white, and as the silhouette disintegrated, the eyes glowed purple.

Miles covered his mouth as he thought what horrible things could be going on down there...

"Please, Cloud." Miles thought as tears came to his eyes. "Please come through. Don't die on us. We need you..."

Cloud woke up in the dark area. He stood up, and he saw his Orojya trapped, spinning in the center of the electric cage.

"W-Where am I?" Cloud said.

"Hello, Cloud..." a voice said. "Welcome to hell..."

Ivan walked out of the shadows.

"Ivan!" Cloud said. "Why you little..."

"It seems that no matter what I do, you won't seem to give up and join my side. I guess force will just have to be the determining factor..."

Meanwhile, back at the surface, R-Dev had found a way to show the scene back at the stadium. He opened it, and all six watched.

Ivan released a purple spirit. It entered into Cloud's mind painfully. He shouted in pain.

"Cloud!!!" Miles shouted.

"He can't hear you..." R-Dev said. "Or even see you..."

Cloud weakened, and as he rose his head, his eyes illuminated purple.

"Perfect." Ivan said evilly.

"No, Cloud..." Miles said, falling to his knees and crying. Bri knelt down to him, while Devin watched and awaited the worst.

Antoine and Vladimir had evil grins on their faces, but R-Dev was emotionless, unsure whether he should be happy or concerned.

Meanwhile, in Cloud's conscious, Cloud woke up.

"Huh?" he said waking up. He looked at his vision. "Now Cloud, Pick up your bey to show your sign of joining my side..."

"Oh no. He possessed me!!" he said.

"And there's no way top escape it..." a voice similar to his responded.

Cloud turned, as a Purple aura of himself stood before him.

"You're the evil spirit!" Cloud said. "Get out of here!!"

"Now why would I do that?" the clone said. "I finally have control of your mind, your body, your life, and there's no way of getting it back..."

He made Cloud's body walk to Orojya, he started reaching out to pick up Orojya.

"NO!!!!" Cloud said. He charged and tackled the clone.

Cloud's body punched itself. Ivan shook.

"What are you waiting for? Pick it up!!!" Ivan commanded.

Once again, Cloud's body went to reach, but was once again pulled away.

"What's happening?!?" Ivan said.

Cloud's body shouted, as inside it, Cloud and his evil side were fighting for control.

On the surface, Devin called out. "Guys, look!!!" he said, pointing. Miles looked up and was shocked to see the sight... "Dan, lo-- Wait, where's Dan?" Devin asked. They looked, but didn't see him. They focused their way back to the fight...

"You can't...have my body!" Cloud said.

"I won't let you take it!!!" his clone said.

"YES. YOU. WILL!!!!!!" Cloud yelled, pulling out a concealed knife. In one fatal swing, the knife penetrated the clone's stomach. The clone fell and disintegrated.

Cloud's body let out a blood-curdling scream. Then, seconds later, Cloud regained control of his body.

Ivan started forming into his beast form out of pure anger, but Cloud did not let him get any bigger than human size as he tackled him and tried to force the knife into Ivan's head.

Ivan reversed the knife and started pushing back. "It's over!!!" Ivan said.

Then, out of nowhere, four beys tackled right into Ivan, throwing him off of Cloud.

Cloud turned to the beys.

Phoenix.

L-Drago.

Byxis.

Eagle.

"Shawn, Alfred, Karan, Matthew?" Cloud said.

he four emerged from the shades to Cloud's rescue.

"How did you guys get here?!?!" Cloud said shocked.

"Don't worry about that!" Shawn shouted. "Fight!!!!"

"Yes!" Cloud said, "But how do I escape?!?!"

Suddenly, the cage shatters, and the bey that emerges absorbs the electricity.

Evil Shade 130RS.

Dan emerge from the shadows as his bey spun steadily after freeing Cloud's Orojya.

"Dan..." Cloud said. "W-What are you doing here?"

"Something..." Dan replied. "Something personal..." He turned to Ivan. "Alright Ivan, let's have a talk..."

Ivan grumbled. "What kind of talk?"

"Oh, you know..." Dan started. "How about when I beat you two years ago in the World Championships?"

"How dare you bring that up!?!?" Ivan shouted angrily.

"Yeah, we swept your team 3-0 and won in 2010. I'm pretty sure you remember that... People called the most embarrassing finals for Russia ever!" Dan had a large smirk on his face.

Ivan growled.

"Dan, what are you?" Cloud asked.

"Or how about when you got the call from me earlier this year, saying I was back for another face-off? I bet even though you won, you were scared out of your mind. I was your only loss this entire tournament!"

Ivan growled louder.

"I get it!" Cloud thought. He turned to Ivan. "Or how about the worst of all? After I left, and you found out I was on the USA team? Surely you wanted your revenge, and here you are, trying in desperation for it. It's eating at your mind that you can't take me down. You're scared, just as you were with Dan..."

Ivan erupted in anger. He pulled out his knife and ran towards Cloud.

On the surface, the view that the six bladers had disappeared.

"What the?" Devin said, confused.

R-Dev as even in shock as he tried to bring the sight back. "It won't let me. We cannot see the result..." he said.

Miles worried as he wondered what could happen.

Back down in the underworld, Cloud was down, tackled by Ivan. Dan charged, and received a cut across his jaw, along with a punch that took him down to the ground.

"IVAN, NO!!!" Cloud shouted.

As Ivan pulled the knife up, Cloud was saved as he was pushed away. he closed his eyes. He heard the knife penetrating skin. Remarkably, he did not hear blood. He heard the breath of the person who saved him, but no blood.

When he opened his eyes. he turned to the West Coast team. They were all in shock.

Then to Dan, who woke up. "Oh my god..." he said, looking at the sight...

Ivan freaked. He had just killed a human whom he had never had problems with.

"No...NO! NO! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!" he shouted, and purple flames surrounded him. He was not on fire, but he felt that he sure was. Ivan then disappeared, but Nemesis remained. Nemesis was open. Cloud looked at Orojya. It did not have enough energy for an Orojya Spear, but it did have enough for one other thing. Cloud took his opportunity to attack.

"OROJYA, SPECIAL MOVE!!! UNFORGIVING BIND!!!"

Orojya entangled Nemesis in snakes and gripped it, until both beys stopped spinning.

"A tie..." Cloud said. "Good enough..."

Cloud picked up the person who saved him as he walked towards the exit of the underworld.

On the surface, the door opened. The West Coast team, Dan and Cloud carrying his hero walked out of the door.

Cloud set his hero down, and hugged Miles as tears arose in their eyes.

"Oh my god, Miles. It was scary. I can't believe I made it... I'm so glad to be back..."

"It's okay, Cloud. You're back, and you're safe... That's all I want for now..." He pulled away. "So, how'd it go?"

"A tie..." Cloud replied.

"What about Ivan..." R-Dev asked.

"He...disappeared in a purple fire..."

R-Dev knew what this meant. "Ivan sacrificed himself... What did he do..."

"He stabbed him..." Cloud replied, pointing at who saved him.

R-Dev widened his eyes.

Devin and Bri checked his vitals. "He has a pulse, but I don't know if it will stay." Bri said.

"We need to get him to the hospital. Either way, if he lives or dies, he was a hero...." Devin said. "West Coast, go ahead and take him away. Let us know how he does..."

The team nodded and carried him away.

Cloud looked at the stab wound as they walked away. He was right. Not a hint of blood from it, only the mark of where it went.

Cloud smiled and thought to himself. "Thank you...thank you...Mr. Shawn Faircloth..."

Miles received a text from Karan about Shawn. "He'll be fine. He will live..." Devin said.

With a sigh of relief, Miles turned to R-Dev. "Well, with that out of the way, it's still 0-0, and this is the last match. A winner HAS to be decided here..."

R-Dev nodded in agreement, and approached the stadium.

"Wait a second, Mr. Eager!" Miles remarked. "This stadium is too dull! We need to go somewhere good!" Miles started walking towards the hallway. R-Dev seemed confused, but followed, nonetheless.

"Where are they going?" Cloud said.

They walked to an elevator. The door opened. Both Miles and R-Dev stepped in.

"Oh god. Don't tell me..." Devin said, scared.

Miles pushed a button. AN up arrow with a red "R" next to it appeared as the door closed.

"Oh my god, they are..." Cloud said.

"I'm going after them!" Bri said and she started running up the stairs.

Cloud and Devin then decided to split up each side of the coliseum. Cloud took Miles' side, while Devin took R-Dev's side.

In the elevator, R-Dev stood still. Miles, seeing this, pressed the emergency stop button, and the elevator halted.

"Alright..." Miles said calmly. "You should know where we're headed..."

R-Dev kept his expression, but a small stream of sweat ran down the side of his face.

"Exactly." Miles continued. "Now, I know that the R-Dev I know, is somewhere in this mind of yours, and I know that this evil spirit isn't going to let him out. So it looks like you're odds are against you. A conflict inside, and outside."

R-Dev's expression grew slightly more angered.

"Now..." Miles went on, "I'd have a look at YOUR chances here, and give up while YOU have the chance..."

R-Dev was unknowingly sweating, in fear, but after about a minute, he shook his head.

"Fine then..." Miles said. "Then be prepared for an all out fight..."

He pressed the restart button on the elevator and they arrived at the top. The wind was much fiercer up here than down below.

Miles walked to the edge where he stood last time, and looked down again. Once again, no cops, no firefighters, no ambulance. Just an empty sidewalk with a few pedestrians like last time. He saw Cloud looking up at him, scared. He breathed in and kept his composure. He backed up and turned. The wind was completely against him.

Miles then looked to R-Dev. who didn't seem to be favoring this too well. He was looking down too, to see Devin, looking up carefully, ready to catch him. R-Dev looked somewhat okay on the outside, but inside, his evil conscious was freaking out, and his good conscious, still fighting back, was fighting back, also scared of what might happen.

"Now, enough of standing here..." R-Dev said, as calmly as possible. "Let's do this..." He attached MF-F Basalt Impaler 230CS.

"I'd say the same thing..." Miles said, attaching the infamous Wing Pegasis BD145CS.

"3..." Miles said.

"2..." R-Dev said.

"1..." they both said.

Then, with much energy, they yelled in unison, not go shoot, but the same thing as their last match.

"LET IT RIP!!!"

Impaler and Pegasis landed, and both stood still as storm clouds started rolling in and the wind picked up. Bri arrived at the top as they launched. She was horrified. As were Cloud and Devin.

What would happen; Would we have another thankful win for Miles, a sinister win for R-Dev, or will both, once again, fall to what could this time...be a fatal ending to both of their lives?

Pegasis and Impaler stood across from each other, while Miles and R-Dev stared each other down. A storm had rolled in, and was producing some lightning.

Bri had crouched down to avoid being struck. She was scared for both bladers. Either of them could get vstruck from this height.

Down below, Cloud and Devin had the same thought, but they remained standing.

Miles' blue eyes glistened as the wind picked up some more. His blond hair swirled a bit.

As another lightning flash appeared, R-Dev's left eye illuminated bright white in anger. He held onto his black cap.

Then, battle ensued...

Pegasis and Impaler charged, and both made an explosion that would immediately throw a weaker blader clean off the coliseum. Miles did not budge. Neither did R-Dev.

Bri stayed down as they continued producing these large clashes.

"Come on, Pegasis!!!" Miles shouted.

"Don't let him win, Impaler!!!" R-Dev commanded.

The weather had become severely sinister. Lightning, winds over 60 miles per hour, and now it was raining.

The rain came down lightly, but steadily.

Rain came down, onto the battle.

Miles looked up, then back to the stadium, his blue eyes a bit brighter now.

R-Dev also looked up and back, the rainwater soaking his clothes and running down his face.

But some rain wouldn't be stopping this match.

"Come on, Impaler!" R-Dev commanded. "Special Move, Apocalyptic Nightmare!!!"

The attack landed in record speed, but no budging from Pegasis.

"NOW PEGASIS!!! OMEGA STAR NOVA!!!!" Miles shouted.

Pegasis flew up, surrounded in its blue aura, and landed a perfect hit.

Not. A. Dent.

"Oh..." Miles thought... "No..."

Once again, Miles best special move didn't do a thing.

"How about I finish this for once?" R-Dev said. "Special Move, End of the World!!!"

A giant black hole emerged in the center of the stadium. Pegasis and Impaler fell into it.

"AAAHHHHHH!!" Bri screamed getting back.

Miles started getting submerged, similar to quicksand, into the black hole. "NO!!!" he yelled. "GET ME OUT!!!"

"Ahahahahahahaha!!!!" R-Dev laughed. "No chance now!!!" He jumped into the pit as well, and landed right behind Miles.

"Agh!!!" Miles let out. He tried to fight R-Dev off. R-Dev put him in a choke hold and covered his mouth.

"Miles, no!!" Bri let out, now crying.

Miles reached for her as he lost consciousness, closed his eyes, and was submerged into the black hole.

The battle was still going on, but who knew what type of chronic evil and immense horror would take place down there, wherever "there" was...

Miles woke up in darkness.

"Agh, I can't see anything! Why can't I move?!" He said, squirming.

A small light shone over him. His legs were braced to the ground, and his arms were tied from wherever the ceiling was in chains. They slowly cut his wrists as he squirmed.

"OW!" Miles yelled. He then looked over to see Pegasis, trapped in a cage.

"No, Pegasis!" Miles said, trying to go over to it. Once again, the chains and the braces restricted him.

"What kind of sick and twisted trap is this?!?!" Miles yelled. "Get me out!!!"

Then, slowly, from the darkness, R-Dev emerged, more serious then ever. Miles growled at the sight.

"Calm down, you little puppy..." R-Dev said. "No need to start that, especially in the spot you're in..."

"I would expect you to put me in a giant black hole, and to restrain Pegasis, but never put this on me!!!" Miles said. He tried to charge at R-Dev, but the chains stopped him, cutting into his wrists even more. "AAAHHH!!!" He let out in pain, as a little bit of blood trickled down the chain and down his arm.

"You're quite desperate, aren't you, Miles?" R-Dev let out with a snicker. "Patience is a virtue, Miles. Had you learned that, you wouldn't have been in this predicament so soon..."

Miles growled as R-Dev continued on. "After hearing what had went on, you just wanted this over with. You didn't care who worked with you or became friends with you. Anything to get to me faster, you would take..."

"Not true!!" Miles shouted. "I made friends because i felt that they would help me!!! I wouldn't use them as slaves! That's absolutely horrid. I made these friends because i know that they would help me and encourage me as much as possible! And not just Devin, Bri, and Cloud, every blader we met became our friends. They knew our team could make it. They knew we had the power to defeat you, and you are no exception!!!"

R-Dev's serious stare grew more angered. "Enough!!!" R-Dev yelled out. "Impaler, keep him quiet!!!"

Impaler charged from the darkness, hitting Miles right in his stomach. He let out a scream of pain. Impaler then went for the face. Miles turned his head just in time to avoid losing an eye, but he got a large cut on his cheek.

After several more hits, Miles was battered, bloody, and bruised, but still, he wasn't giving up. "I can't...l-let you win, R-Dev...I...c-can't..."

"Oh well then..." R-Dev said, shrugging. He pulled out his gun, loaded new ammo into it, set the sight, and aimed right in between Miles' eyes. "Good bye Miles..." R-Dev said angrily. "See you never again..."

As he cocked the gun, Miles closed his eyes as tears ran down his face.

Then, all of a sudden, A Purple streak knocks the gun out of R-Dev's hand. "What the?" R-Dev let out.

Then, a gray one slid by, hitting Impaler and pushing it back. Then streaks ran everywhere of all colors. One streak freed Pegasis. Four of them broke the braces and chains on Miles. Miles fell to the ground, weak and exhausted. He rose his head to find several beys.

"Bakushin Susanow? Quetzalcoatl? Sagittario? Eagle?!?! What is this...???" Miles said.

He turned over to see some of the bladers he fought with emerge from the shadows.

"Argo? Kei? Guillermo?" Miles said.

More bladers emerged.

"Pablo? Tambai? Yamata Orochi?"

Several others, too many to say, entered. Even two people Miles didn't expect.

"Dan Wheldon?!?! Shawn Faircloth!!!!!"

Sure enough, Dan and his Shade, and Shanw and his Eagle stood in front of him. They helped him up.

"It's time to finish this, Miles!" Dan told him.

"Show him what all of us do when we ignite our bey spirit!!!" Shawn told him.

"Yeah!" Miles said, and he started absorbing all of the powers from his fellow bladers. Pegasis flew into the air, gaining all of these powers. Miles started floating up, too!"

"Woah!" Miles said. SAl of his scratches and bruises disappeared as the weakened R-Dev and Impaler stood up.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" R-Dev screamed out. Miles erupted with energy.

"PEGASIS, UNIVERSAL SPECIAL MOVE!!! UNITE THE NATION!!!!!!"

Pegasis charged and clashed with Impaler. Light rose from the explosion and engulfed everyone.

Miles woke up in his bed. He scratched his head and rose up.

"What the hell?" he said, confused. "Was that all a dream? Surely it couldn't have!"

He turned to find Pegasis glowing blue next to him. He picked it up and looked at it. He then looked outside. Sunny and bright. Then to the clock. 9:45 am. Then, to the calendar. August 30th, 2012, the day after he fought R-Dev in the black hole.

"Huh?" Miles got out of bed and went down the hall. Nobody was there.

"Devin, you here man?"

No answer as he went downstairs.

"Cloud, where are ya?"

No answer. Checking the stadiums.

"Bri, you here, baby?"

No answer either.

"Where the hell is everyone?!?!" Miles said, confused out of his mind.

Then, he spots a note and reads it.

"Miles,

Come to the coliseum as soon as you wake up. There's something for you."

"Signed...R-DEV!?!?" Miles said, shocked. "NO WAY!!! He doesn't write like this!!"

Nevertheless, Miles went to the coliseum, Taking Pegasis just in case.

When he entered he was amazed by all of the fans, from all around the world, chanting and cheering for Miles.

"There he is!" DJ says. "There's Miles, Captain of the West Coast USA Championship team!!!"

Miles friends ran to him and gave Miles a hug.

"What's going on?" Miles asked.

"How do you not know?!?!" Cloud said. "You helped us win the World Championships!!!"

"So...it wasn't a dream..." Miles thought to himself. "Wait, how long was I out?"

"The rest of the day, and overnight..." Bri said. "Ya passed out..."

Miles and his friends walked to the podium where All of the captains, including Dan and Shawn, were standing, applauding.

After realizing that this was true, he broke down into tears of joy.

DJ approached with a microphone. "Miles, we heard about your fight. Your friends described it to us the best they could. You fought through it and got the win. How do you feel?"

Miles tried to gain composure, but the tears kept flowing. "I...I can't believe it. I...I am just...just so overwhelmed right now. This...is unbelievable. I..want to say thanks to my friends, the other captains, mostly Dan and Shawn, who were there for me, and...can R-Dev come over here please?"

R-Dev approached Miles and took the mic calmly. He took a breath as he put an arm over Miles' shoulder.

"I...would like to take a moment, and say my condolences." R-Dev started. "It's unfortunate Ivan couldn't be here to say how sorry he is as well, so I'll say it for him."

The crowd grew quiet to hear this.

"I am sorry to all of the team captains, and your members, for all injuries you took by Ivan, and myself, during battle."

The captains nodded and accepted the apology.

"I am sorry to the crowds of all of the countries, for embarrassing you, and for scaring you out of your wits. Beyblade is a fun game to spectate, not something to fear..."

The crowd applauded in agreement.

"But most of all..." He paused. "I am sorry to Miles and his team. They fought hard and well to get through all of this, and to defeat me cleanly and fairly. I used some dirty tactics on them that I shouldn't have, and fairly say, I cheated. I apologize for that, and I promise not to do this again."

The crowd applauded in satisfaction.

"Now, Miles. I'd like to say something personal..."

"Yeah?"

"You know about our fight?"

"Yes?"

The chains and the braces?"

"Yes..."

"That...was the only time I ever used that. I don't know what was going through my mind, but I apologize for making you go through something so horrific and deadly." He looked at Cloud. "Also, to you, Cloud, sorry for what Ivan did to you. It was equally brutal and evil as mine was..."

"Now, from this day forward, I will do everything, in my power, to stop being evil, and to use by beyblading skills for fun, not pain."

R-Dev gave the mic back, and as he hugged Miles, the crowd applauded.

The DJ brought the fairly largebtrophy out to the West Coast team, and gave it to them.

"Congratulations, guys!!!" DJ said.

Miles looked at it in astonishment. "Can all of the captains come here, please?"

All of them came to Miles.

"Guys, this trophy isn't just for me. It's for all of you. You all show your pride fighting for your country and using your bey spirit to your best power. That skill and determination, gets others involved, and brings peace throughout the beyblade community."

They all nodded.

"And if we can keep doing that..." Miles rose his Pegasis into the air.

Dan lifted his. So did Devin, Cloud, and Bri. Shawn and all of the others rose theirs.

Then, in unison, they all said, "Together, we can Unite the Nation!!!!"
