See, I was thinking that centre area was a flat, raised plateau, but seeing how it's a dome, this thing is really gonna kill stamina type blades. I can't wait to try it out!

It kinda looks like, if you get defense/stamina type to land on the middle circle and stay, it can outlast attackers on the outer rim. Unless that ridge isn't so steep that other blades can make it up there.

Lol true. But, like in the video, those lines made the beyblades go where the lines went. Will it be the same for an attack type or would it have enough speed to move on its own at the beginning? Any thoughts?

Judging from that video, the increased friction of the Bottoms being in constant contact with both the Stadium floor itself and the ridge looks to be seriously detrimental to the Stamina of Defense and obviously, Stamina types.
I think it also explains why they're moving around the ridge so quickly.

Good eye. Because the tip is in contact with more surface (the floor and the ridge), it will slow down the Beyblade faster.
