I was not trying to offend you, and sorry if I did. I know that the clear ones come from the boosters and not the starters. If you don't believe me:

TT starter unboxing

TT booster unboxing

Updated my previous post.

Starter unboxing, you can clearly see the background through the CW.

Transparent: "Crystal" parts, like bull, kerbecs, etc.
Translucent: Milky-ish parts. Lets light through but not images. Some random booster bulls and such are translucent.
Opaque: Solid colour, like a legend series CW.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Soundwave - Jul. 13, 2011

Wait what? I thought you were refering to the D125CS being transparent in the starter? I had no idea that you were refering to the CW...

Yeah, someone messed up xD

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - th!nk - Jul. 13, 2011

Eh, just realised this was already up on beywiki, must've been fixed anyway, but yeah.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Kei - Aug. 28, 2011

Can someone who has experience with both the TAKARA-TOMY and Hasbro CS's add a small "Mold Variations" section discussing the difference in performance to the CS section? Post it here first, though.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - th!nk - Aug. 28, 2011

Don't have a hasbro one myself, but I know which cs's come from where, and wrote a simplistic version the other day, so I'll do one tonight or tomorrow, in the interest of getting it right?

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - RustyXD - Aug. 28, 2011

I have both of them but im not the best at writing articles , I may just help give people the information after they write a draft of something Uncertain

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Dan - Aug. 28, 2011

If anything, there would be a mold variation within Takara-Tomy's production with the whole difference between Starter vs. Booster. :V I doubt Th!nk would overlook that anyway. haha.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - LeonTempest - Aug. 28, 2011

Th!nk posted this not to long ago. If he already reposted this himself, I apologize, but I am very busy at the moment so I have to do this quickly

Quote:Disappointed to see everyone's forgotten the pattern with tt/sk cs's is based on what they're released in, not the manufacturer (alongside small variances)...

Not like I put effort into getting people to remember that or anything, just keep posting incorrect information..........

As a refresher: th!nk's guide to CS's (needs formatting etc, I'm on my phone so yeah).

Tt/sk Ray unicorno starter: generally aggro, some calm.

Ray unicorno booster: calm, rarely aggro.

Rbv6: calm, very rarely aggro

Hasbro Ray Unicorno (Starter/Booster?): very aggro, wearing to calm quickly, then back to aggro, and so on. One or two instances of calmer ones.

TENTATIVE: Hasbro Lightning Sword Showdown: Calm, less rubber than others.

All cs's generally become aggressive with an unbalanced wheel like basalt and a strong launch, though a steadier launch can help prevent this somewhat.

I dont own any forms of CS yet, so i cant eleaborate on his information or help out here other than post this.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - th!nk - Sep. 01, 2011

Thanks for reposting that. This actually slipped my mind, I'll get it done after work tonight methinks.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Kei - Sep. 01, 2011

What I'm wondering is, is there any difference visually between the different CS's? The Hasbro Lightning Sword Showdown CS apparently has less rubber, but what about the others?

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Dan - Sep. 01, 2011

probably a rubber to tip variation. My starter TT had the rubber almost completely over the sharp tip, my booster TT less so.
I don't have Hasbro CS so I wouldn't know at all :V Sorry.

the rubber completely conceals the sharp

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - th!nk - Sep. 01, 2011

Draft is in the works, super exhausted from work so may finish it tomorrow, cos I can't get the wording or anything right right now.

And yeah, it's just how far down the rubber goes.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Kei - Sep. 01, 2011

It would be nice if someone could post pictures comparing brand new CS's.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Dan - Sep. 01, 2011

Kei, you have to be the man for the job! Or SSJFisherman.
Th!nk is off to Plastic-land and I can't buy more CS' for awhile.
We are pretty much the base for this variation ideology lol.
:V
I think CS is used by so many customizations it would be really hard to find someone with all those tips right out of the box unused..

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - th!nk - Sep. 01, 2011

For the ray unicorno starter/booster differences you can see akirasdaddy's videos of both ray unicorno's, but yeah, pics will be hard to locate (most people just do videos, sadly.)

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Shabalabadoo - Sep. 01, 2011

I think that just to start out, maybe just a picture of one aggressive and one not? It'd take a while to get all, so no point delaying the article even though the info on them would be there.

Dan, I only have one CS, which is hasbro, but it's not mint

It is no problem. I would love to see a Mold variations section for CS just as much as the rest of you =D

Kei: When I get my hands on both versions of the Hasbro CS, i will be sure to take pictures right when they are mint, unless someone beats me to it. After that, someone just needs to post pictures of the 2 TT and 2 SK CS variations

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - Kei - Sep. 02, 2011

Also, has anyone tested the clear CS from the Ray Unicorno Aurora version?

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - LeonTempest - Sep. 02, 2011

Would there even be a difference between the TT versions and the Aurora version?

Kei is back! Now we can finnaly get all of these drafts approved!

I did some editing. One of the headers was wrong, and I added both hasbro versions of the bey in the other versions section, because they come with different versions of CS, which will be determined at a later time

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - th!nk - Sep. 02, 2011

I vaguely remember someone having posted how the clear one behaves, but yeah, if someone can locate that it'd be good.

RE: Ray Unicorno D125CS Article Attempt - th!nk - Sep. 02, 2011

Ahh, excellent (though I think that was before we properly worked out the pattern with the CS's)

Also, I want some tests on the Lightning Sword Showdown CS to make sure it performs on par with an RBV6 or Unicorno Booster CS for defense, given the rubber is even further away from the stadium. IDK what to add for that section right now.
