Well yeah, he's being cocky in the moment cause he's happy he won. If he wasn't happy and was what you think of him as as stereotypical emo I don't care about anything, he wouldn't care about saying anything after. I also said already that Silas isn't mad at Free for saying that, he had an even sadder expression in his match with Dante. He's mad because he was training for a long time and didn't win, simple as that.

He didn’t take Hyuga and Hikaru seriously. He only took them seriously when they united their power as one which reminded him of Lane. Later after that he didn’t even want to bother with Hyuga until after Rantaro convinced him. Also it isn’t just my bias taking, defense types have outspun stamina types before in burst and as I said, it’s not exactly a long way to go when you lose by a single second after taking attacks from both bladers. It was extremely close, like, really close so saying “you have a long way to go” isn’t exactly true. With a fair amount of training he can get better. Free definitely had plot armour during that battle because he was teamed up with Valt who was a finalist in the tournament therefore meaning that he had plot armour. Additionally in the battle where he was teamed with Dante he was definitely upset about the loss but didn’t growl nearly as aggressively as he did after Free’s remark. Also your second quote pretty much confirms that you knew he was being cocky so that discussion is pretty much over then.

Hikaru and Hyuga combining their power is a whole different concept that is different taking a single blader seriously.  

I understand that stamina types are meant to spin longer but it doesn’t mean that defense types haven’t outspun stamina types before and can’t do so under the right conditions. Joshua outspun Fafnir in s2 and wearing an opponent down always works

Valt definitely had plot armour. That’s the reason why he made it to the finals without losing once. He’s part of the main cast and was meant to be a finalist so that he could challenge Lane.

Sure, just because he doesn’t growl doesn’t mean he isn’t mad but that’s quite literally the point of expression. If they didn’t want to portray different levels of anger then the writers would never have him growl or wince in the first place LOL.

I was trying to prove that Free was being cocky and you admitted to it so I guess I don’t have much to say at that point.

lol sorry. The Dark Achilles part was also clearly plot armor. Aiger got an un explainable boost of power with no logical explanation, nuff said.

1. Out of all places it just conveniently managed to make it on the speed rails sounds like a lot of plot armor to me not to mention the speed cradles take up only a fraction of the space of the stadium

2. Not true, Valt should’ve lost besides how would launching once more or even twice more have harmed him realistically

3. That arguement fails simply because we haven’t seen how strong dark resonance is or the full potential of dark resonance

I’m still confused and mad about aiga vs lane because in real life the crater should only speed your bey up not it’s centrifugal force so that made no sense

1. Getting hit to the speed cradles is a common occurrence. 

2. He had already strained his body passed its limits. Launching more would pull more muscles.

3. Dark resonance in itself it just plot armor. It can go to limitless strengths if the plot wants it, making dark resonance bad. Aiger just gaining a random booster of dark resonance is an example of that plot armor.
