I have to agree with Brad here, sadly. Their aesthetic sense and naming sense is about as appealing as rotten tomatoes, and their preformance is a NERF most times. And the slopes aren't even consistent! Ragnarok got lucky, and Deathsyther bursts to R2! The stadiums aren't even fun, and the launchers look very cheap. I swear, it is a cash grab... :/

I don't know, I like the Hasbro stuff so far. I will agree that the Hasbro stadiums are no good. I have a B-33 and old BB-10 stadium I use. The launchers are small but ok, once you get used to it, and the supergrip launcher is even better. I have a TT grip and beylauncher but I like the Hasbro launchers better. Now I am not concerned that much with the names and if they match the anime or TT, but that's just me. The paint on some of the Hasbro beys is pretty bad, especially Nepstrius, but so far the re-colors and 2 versions look a lot better, and I never liked putting all the stickers on anyway. As far as competitiveness with TT, I don't know. I don't have any TT burst and probably won't.

The only concern I have with Hasbro is that they are too lazy to make Orbit, Gyro, Yeilding and Trans!

That too. I am stuck with Hasbro though, and a lot of the Slopes are randomly applied with no performance consideration.

I agree with the disappointment towards Hasbro. Those colors are horrible, and they look so fake. But I think there are a lot of people with an exaggerate nostalgia that's not healthy at all for any hobby, and because of this, they just can't enjoy the new generation. I grew up with the classic Beyblade, absolutely love plastics, like MFB, and currently I'm loving Burst. I don't compare any generation, and use the nostalgia when I battle with plastics or even MFB. Obviously Burst isn't the classic or MFB, it's something new, it's a plus to Beyblade. I'm tired of this same nostalgia thing. Anyway, the launchers seem small, maybe because your hands grew up with you? The classic plastic launchers were really small too, same with MFB ones!
Thing is, Hasbro messed up with the colors and that's all. I still have mixed feelings about Hasbeys, will buy some tho, but the only concern I have are the colors. :)

Oh yeah! forgot to mention that too! That's a pity.
For now, there isn't much we can do. Maybe Hasbro budget for Beyblade Burst is really low and they can't stick a ball in a driver or make a tp out of POM. Idk. I hope they make some better Beyblades in the future.

I first thought they were going to release the beys with gimmicky drivers in a side series? called Beyblade Burst something, but it was going to be like the Hyperblades but this time it would be with the mechanical drivers and other material drivers.

Tbh even though Hasbro has a lot of money I think the lack of stuff we see in their products for Burst compared to TT is due to how badly sales dropped for Beyblade in the end of the last series because of what they did then(no stickers, missing parts, recolors, Shogun, etc.) Which greatly decreased the money available from the franchise which obviously must have decreased their hope in Burst releases, so even though they've done some pretty nice engineering with the Slopes and launcher(power) they haven't bothered to spend much on the new gen since they aren't sure what expect differently from last time, and the problem with that is the fact that it could turn out the same way if people don't like it and they give up on hope within the product as well as lack of advertisement, and tbh resources are increasing in price as well so it makes it a lot harder for them to bother spending more on Beyblade unfortunately.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro does end up releasing the drivers they appear to be skipping at the moment. If you look at the stamina driver codes they put out, you have TS01 (survive), TS02 (claw), TS03 (edge), and TS05 (revolve). The order of these numbers is clearly based on the order they were initially released by TT. The same pattern applies to the other drivers. Given the lack of a TS04, and that Gyro was released between Edge and Revolve, I think it's safe to say that if Gyro gets released in a booster/dual pack (possibly in a Chaos release?), it would probably have the code TS04
Tl;dr, Hasbro could end up releasing these drivers at some other time because their codes for them clearly exist

There is some truth to this, but I don't think that's the case here. I see people who were really hyped for Hasbro's release feeling quite let down. It's not just the paint: they changed the locking mechanism (yay!) and downgraded the performance of many great parts in the process (boo), the launchers are not just small but extremely low power, the plastic is clearly of a lower quality, and I've noticed loose screws in Layers.
The harsh criticisms aren't unfair, and they're necessary if we expect Hasbro to produce a better product.

Well we tried time and time again, in the past, to contact them, and usually the only thing we get is the robotic automatic reply. However, if TAKARA-TOMY knows about the World Beyblade Organization, then surely Hasbro must have someone checking this website once in a while too...

Honestly, I think the slopes were probably the best change Hasbro did for these Bursts bar none, although the slope changes are really only good for preventing teeth wear, something not nearly as present in the dual layer line, other than that, they aren't really good for anything, and I'm not counting the Hasbro Layer on TT Drivers mod because that's something I won't and most likely never agree with TBH, they just aren't meant to fit! The recolours are some of the most hideous I've seen in the Hasbro Line so far, on par with, if not worse than Sparks FX. The rest, I can't just say yet until I own one, but I doubt they'll be as good as the TT ones, which were great. The Hasbro one seems to break less than the TT ones... or at least there have been less or no reports on the layers breaking yet, although I can't really say if it's more durable or not. This criticism is based on personal preference really but because I'm big on show accuracy, I don't like the random colours most have, I wouldn't mind if it was optional, but some with the really imprecise colours are the only options people can have with certain beyblades if we're only talking about buying Hasbro stuff. The only cross compatibility we'll get is the disks, and I really will be missing the idea of cross compatibility with any company beyblades, which plastics and MFB had, reason being is that incase specific parts are hard to find in one company but easier for the other, it would be an option to use, but with the Hasbro Bursts lack of true cross compatibility, it leaves less options.

I'm not saying I was expecting some MASSIVE nostalgia bomb, More so how I felt when MFB came out,happy,and excited for the future. But with Hasbro's Burst release I don't feel excited for the future, the ONLY thing that Hasbro has going for it is the slopes, the new colors are awful, they didn't bring over the Beylogger, or the Japanese app. I was hype as all hell to be able to battle for points,it's something i've always wanted. When you bring in points you bring in the competitive spirit that draws people into Beyblade. And hell,if they did bring the Japanese app I wouldn't even be mad if we couldn't get the app exclusive beyblades.

We can give them credit for improving durability, indeed.
They went out of their way to reinforce layers that didn't even need it. (unless they did, and we didn't notice/post about them)
And now I surely believe TT had a hand in these changes too, since the newer reinforcement of V2 in the Reshuffle set is the same one done to Hasbro's, albeit with the first reinforcement in place too for good measure. (the set came out about 2 months later, iirc)

Also, while the launchers are the cheapest they've ever put out, the power I've been able to get from one about rivals that of my normal light launcher.
The performance can vary from launcher to launcher, as always. Some come out better than others.

Yeah I doubt it's the reason of nostalgia, we do have to like Burst in order to dislike the Hasbro versions, that's exactly why I am concerned over the Hasbro toyline, because I love the original TT versions so much.

the supergrip launcher is surprisingly amazing. I (not properly) tested it Vs the long winder and the string launcher and it was a good 10 sec increase in stamina for WAM. I would suggest everyone pick one up for they are very cheap compared to TT

It's quite thoughtfully designed to be honest.
It has inserts to to use for both right and left handed players, in addition to the Sword Launcher style insert, and lets you attach another launcher on all four sides for however you choose to hold it.
I only wish the handle was a bit longer and wasn't hollow underneath so it'd be comfortable to wrap your whole hand around it.

True, but then you really can't wrap your hand around it because your fingers will be blocking the prongs on the attached launcher keeping them from moving.
You could hold it from the sides, but it's just not as secure as just wrapping your hand around a whole grip.

So I'm guessing the consensus is to just wait and see what the future holds with how Hasbro is handling this, and stick with Takara beys?
I'm feeling like there's no future for Hasbro because of their changes, but we never know with them. They released awful versions of 4D stuff and eventually started releasing non bootleg like versions of them.
