I am admittedly more focused on finishing a cosplay for my brother, which I would not say is even half-way done. My volume of CoroCoro Aniki is on its way, so I suppose I will see when I have some very free time.

This just really deserves its own topic, even though we have been discussing it in the Beyblade Anime and Manga Random Thoughts thread so far.

In short, a new Bakuten Shoot Beyblade manga chapter will be published in this month's CoroCoro Aniki, meant for an older audience than CoroCoro. At the same time, we also know that TAKARA-TOMY will release Burst versions of Dranzer S, Driger S and Draciel S around fall.

Here are the best pictures we have so far of the new character designs (they are definitely Takao/Tyson, Kai, Rei/Ray and Max, not their children):

These drawings come straight from Aoki Takao, the author of the original manga.


So far, all that is confirmed is one new chapter.

Personally, the new designs are cool enough, and similar enough to the previous designs to be liked by all fans of the first Beyblade generation too.

Yes! That is, you'r right!!
By the way, it is fortunate that Takao Aoki has returned to continue the manga! I thought he would publish a few chapters, but I'm glad I was wrong. To date he has published 2 new volumes.

I was hesitating to bother scanlating from now on, but I suppose there really is still some demand for it. My second most favourite band is realeasing a few things this week, so I will likely have no time to work on the chapters in the next couple of weeks in addition to a cosplay, however I will do my best.
