RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Annoying-Fork - Oct. 03, 2011 Be calm and just cut it off. Let her say what she feels needs to be said but don't let a dishonest person play you twice. I've read on SomethingAwful (actual adults are the majority) that there is no reason to maintain regular contact with a liar. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - TITAN - Oct. 03, 2011 Wow, I'm glad I don't go to Sparta's school... RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Annoying-Fork - Oct. 03, 2011 Oh man I've witnessed what happens when the people at my school gone through a breakup. A couple of kids caught up in a love triangle had to have THREE security officers separating them for the day before being finally suspended. Do not act before you hear her side of the story - even a liar/cheater may have reasons that could impact your decision. Really, though, if you're 100% sure she's cheating, after you hear her story, it'd probably be best to break it off right there. Inform her that you are uncomfortable dating someone who thinks polyamorous behavior is appropriate. If you really feel vindictive about it, informing her other fella' about it might stick in her craw, too, but really... there's no need to be so juvenile about things. Just hear her story, break it off, and walk. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - TITAN - Oct. 03, 2011 Now, does she consider what you're doing an actual date, or just a smart person helping her? This kind of thing happened at the Winter dance;a girl named Kayla was talking to a guy who was dating a different Kayla. Kayla #2 saw them talking, and a real fight started. Deputy Bass ended up stopping it, but not until ten minutes or so went by. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Wizard - Oct. 03, 2011 But make sure you don't start any beef with her other boyfriend. You don't want any bad feeling between you and him, otherwise you'll probably have trouble on your hands. Anyways, do what Hazel said. But in my opinion, if she admits to it, break up with her. End of story. EDIT: So, there's this girl I like... (See, told ya XP) Actually, I've liked her for a while now. Anyways, she's really nice and super cute. If my thought process and observations are correct, I think she might like me. Does anybody have any ideas of how to find out without being so flat out about it? I don't know if it would affect our friendship if she found out or not, but she probably already knows... RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - TITAN - Oct. 03, 2011 Join the club... I'd probably wait a few more days, you know, observe some more, and only ask her once you're 99.99% sure she likes you. You had a girlfriend several days ago(I know it didn't work out because you're friends or something) and then another one a week or so before that. As such I find this kinda rediculous. Given her extremely kind nature, I don't think she would mind me liking her, but that obviously doesn't mean she doesn't like me. I'll never know until I ask. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - TITAN - Oct. 03, 2011 In that case, go for it! You may end up embarrassed and heartbroken, but that's one of the risks of love! I'm going to second this opinion, Bey-Heart. You're like an after-school special on the dangers of hormones. And, no, that was not intended in a flattering, or jovial, manner. Seriously, chill out. You're into a new girl every week and posting on here like it's twitter. As for your question, asking people things bluntly is the only definite way to be sure of anything. Playing idiotic teenager games just gets people hurt, confused, and wastes time. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - theunderdog - Oct. 03, 2011 Um... ok so there is this girl that I like (alot) and I'm very shy so can you guys please help on how I can get her to like me I need a guide RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - NoodooSoup - Oct. 03, 2011 (Oct. 03, 2011 10:54 PM)majinshadow11 Wrote: Um... ok so there is this girl that I like (alot) and I'm very shy so can you guys please help on how I can get her to like me I need a guide It doesn't work that way. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Shabalabadoo - Oct. 03, 2011 Even after Kai-V's post has been repeated three times, I counted 5 people on this page that posted about a girl they like, along with several extra posts about that girl. Shaddap. Might sound rude but nobody really cares. Most of you post most in here than anywhere else. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Sparta - Oct. 04, 2011 Hey, if you read I said she's my girlfriend-or, was for that matter. She admitted to it. But...I like her too much, and just can't bring myself to break up with her. Thing is, I asked my gut and it says regardless "Go on the date anyways!" Now my gut won't agree with what I know in my heart is right...Urgh. Obviously you don't want to lose attention or companionship, but it will get much uglier if you ignore it and carry on like nothing's changed. Confront her and walk. And the one I had a few days ago I broke up with because I asked her out over a joke. Sure, I kinda liked her, but not enough for a relationship. Anyways, I think I will go flat out and ask her. But I'm not sure when, I have to find the right time. She was really upset tonight because her dad might be moving out. Poor girl, but I gave her some advice, and I think it might have helped her a tad bit. Also, I'm not into a new girl every week. I liked a few girls, a few. That's it. And it's been that same few this whole time. I'm just going around the circle. This time, I'm at the point of the circle where it's the one of which I like the most. The others I don't really care for. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Thor Odinson - Oct. 04, 2011 (Oct. 04, 2011 12:08 AM)Sparta Wrote: ...Meep...Why is it so hard... Your welcome. You literally saw her kissing another dude. She's playing you. Just start ignoring her and focus on yourself. Don't be the puppy dog guy who hangs onto a woman's every beck and call just because you think she's attractive. She's obviously not that into you. Find someone who will actually respect you. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Annoying-Fork - Oct. 04, 2011 Random psychological question, can holding back stress in these situations and not venting cause mental issues? RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - |Joe| - Oct. 04, 2011 So next Monday will be the 3 month for John and I. I want to do something fun, but I'm not sure what. I was thinking of spending the day at my house and do stuff like make pancakes for lunch, watch a movie, and play some games. Any other ideas? Retaining stress and other such things usually causes resentment, at best, toward the person who is causing the stress. It is often better to resolve an issue, rather than let it fester for long - if you ever feel the need to suppress something, it is best to only do it until the opportune moment to bring it up, lest it have negative effects on your quality of life, or the quality of life of your partner. If there are any parks nearby, or something like River Street(I'm not certain where you live, I apologize), if it's a nice day out(which it should be, given the time of year), a bit of a stroll or day out, inbetween a nice breakfast and a movie, could be enjoyable. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - |Joe| - Oct. 04, 2011 I do like that idea for the park heh, it's been really chilly in Philadelphia recently though. But yea, we're both 15, neither one of us is gonna be awake for an appropriate breakfast time lol. Thanks for the idea |
