RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Cake - Dec. 16, 2016 (Dec. 16, 2016 6:05 AM)Kei Wrote: Yeah, it's a complex question. Looking at the statistics in my general testing comparison thread for Hasbro vs. TAKARA-TOMY Burst might help paint the picture for you: https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Hasbro-vs-TAKARA-TOMY-Beyblade-Burst-Testing-Comparison-Discussion Yeah, although the testing that you and others did is great, it doesn't paint the most accurate picture of an actual Hasbro meta because, naturally, people are going to avoid the Layers that burst often like the plague. With those outliers out of the game, the average burst rate will go way down. The challenge ahead is finding out what works and what doesn't in Hasbro - it really is like getting our parts pool doubled in size. It just bursts like it's lubed up with butter. Hahaha, fair enough. "Aggressive" maybe isn't the best word for it. Yeah, my testing was more about creating a baseline of performance in as many different scenarios as possible since there was nothing before that. So it definitely doesn't (and isn't meant to) paint a final or accurate picture of what a Hasbro metagame/burst frequency would be like. And exactly! Having the parts pool basically doubled in size is part of what makes it so exciting to me. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - boltoms - Dec. 17, 2016 Well, Hasbro just tweeted not too long ago that the show starts on Monday in the US on Disney XD. Looks like we really won't be getting the beys till January... Way to go Hasbro... RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyGa - Dec. 17, 2016 RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - TrainiacJ - Dec. 17, 2016 (Dec. 17, 2016 11:51 AM)BeyGa Wrote: This song makes the "Let It Rip" rap sound like good in comparison RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - cosmicstriker - Dec. 17, 2016 (Dec. 17, 2016 3:17 AM)I boltoms Wrote: Well, Hasbro just tweeted not too long ago that the show starts on Monday in the US on Disney XD. They had a release date set, don't expect it to come out a whole month in advance. Also did anyone see "Valtryek V2 Victory Valtryek" on the app? When they send out a tweet that says "it's your turn in a couple of weeks" I would suspect that it meant we were looking at a Dec release. Plus, calm yourself. I wasn't expecting anything. Just a little disappointed in Hasbro's bad decisions. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Kevo - Dec. 18, 2016 How do we know for sure it won't be in December though? It seems like Australia just got it out of the blue, so we might see something similar happen here. Here are some screens I took. W2 looks good, it would be interesting if the Layer from Hasbro will give it a second wind compared to it's poor performance from Takara, but it's unlikely. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Hato - Dec. 19, 2016 Credits to AFresnics117 for pointing out to me that they added the other boosters and starters being released to their website! Go here: http://www.hasbro.com/en-ca/brands/beyblade/toys-games?gclid=CjwKEAiAp97CBRDr2Oyl-faxqRMSJABx4kh9ni6JRBC8RIOHEbYpYCPO2ZU3BDT0on-RUAFRAxmj-RoCKpnw_wcB&page=1 I would post images, but I don't have time to upload them, so the website should do. It's sad that Nova Nepstrius doesn't include Trans. It seems like Survive? Yegdrion also seems like it has Edge from the top view because the tip if not entirely round. Oddly, Wild Wyvron and Dark DoomScizor weren't shown... I'm glad to see Hasbro releasing a launcher separately since it is actually able to be held. But sadly it seems to use the same Hasbro ripcord.. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - TrainiacJ - Dec. 19, 2016 Woah, that grip is cool RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Achi-baba - Dec. 19, 2016 http://www.hasbro.com/en-ca/product/beyblade-burst-supergrip-launcher:73DF474F-5056-9047-F538-2665710873A3 A new grip launcher with a longer winder is coming out, and you can scan it from the page! It looks like the old render for the launcher back when the game fist came out IIRC. And unfortunately, it looks like N2 is coming with Zeohyr instead of Trans. http://www.hasbro.com/en-ca/product/beyblade-burst-starter-pack-nepstrius-n-2:73E93B48-5056-9047-F5A9-3CE930BE8A24 EDIT: sniped by Hato's edit. DOUBLE EDIT: So the Grip launcher works even if you haven't got the update yet. And you can switch between launchers when ever you want by hitting a button on the bottom=left corner. Unless someone else does sooner, I'll post screenshots when I get home from school today. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Kai-V - Dec. 19, 2016 Nova Nepstrius is an abomination. And all the others look so bad as well... RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - TrainiacJ - Dec. 19, 2016 (Dec. 19, 2016 3:09 PM)Kai-V Wrote: Nova Nepstrius is an abomination. And all the others look so bad as well... eeeeh, Hyper Horusood looks better than the takara one imo Also, the Supergrip thing says it comes with a 9-inch winder. How long is that compared to the winders in the Hasbro starters? RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Kai-V - Dec. 19, 2016 But the opaque colours... Beyblade Burst was already tacky to some extent, but now, still with that cloudy clear plastic, that is just too much, personally. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyGabe - Dec. 19, 2016 Looks like Yegdrion comes with edge in place of gyro... Oh boy. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Ryuk_Shinigami - Dec. 19, 2016 Oh hasbro noooo ! Why are you making haribo dragibus colors for the beys ?! And this white launcher I think it represent the sword launcher but it seems to be the same s*** like the light launchers in the starters, I love so much beyblade i'm angry RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Dec. 19, 2016 This kinda sucks, Nova Nepstrius with Trans, and Yegdrion with Edge... But that Supergrip Launcher looks nice. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Bey Brad - Dec. 19, 2016 Supergrip Launcher very obviously based on Sword Launcher. Visually, everything looks pretty bad, and the part swaps are disappointing. No Xcalius either. Pretty disappointing, to be honest. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Bey Brad - Dec. 19, 2016 Quote:Players can connect a second original Beyblade Burst launcher (Sold separately. Subject to availability) to the Supergrip Launcher for a double launch! OK, so I totally expect that the Supergrip Launcher is not actually using a different internal mechanism from the normal Hasbro launchers. It's just a bigger grip. Hard pass. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Kai-V - Dec. 19, 2016 Yes, the internal mechanism is almost definitely the same. I think we are far from a stronger Hasbro launcher for Burst... RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeyCrafter - Dec. 19, 2016 I noticed something when taking another look at the Supergrip Launcher. It has multiple openings. [Image: RtggMGT.jpg] Just thought I'd add something. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - loyd87 - Dec. 19, 2016 Ive seen some differenses between the two and the hasbro mold is more prominent edge at some point. And have clearly much plastic in the sublayer (color one) too but cant say if it can change something in performance. But it is slightly loose for burst then tt mold. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - Kai-V - Dec. 19, 2016 (Dec. 19, 2016 9:44 PM)BeyCrafter Wrote: I noticed something when taking another look at the Supergrip Launcher. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - SUGOI-KONICHEWA - Dec. 19, 2016 Hasbro!!!!!!!!! Where the heck is Trans and Gyro!!! They better release them in a special driver pack or something.(I'm pleased with their Supergrip Launcher) |
