Kei: Hm, I didn't notice that, strange that they bothered to do any more than cover the exits. Still, I'd like to see how it does, especially with the bottom of the pockets removed (which could be achieved by cutting at a uniform distance from the bottom, which would be much easier to do than cutting away an exit on a flat surface as I thought might be needed). I mean, it looks relatively function, and while it's wider (or at least, this one is - hopefully we get something smaller before they start adding grooves to them), the flatter slope might make regular KO's more reliable (though having only two pockets is a real issue, especially in terms of dividing it for launches fairly (though we have the problem with ZGB/ZGD anyway). I still think we're looking at the most realistic chance we've ever had of a legal hasbro stadium, which is something I would love to see, and something I think would be great for the WBO and its members, as it would greatly increase the number of tournaments AND the number of stadiums we'd have at them, at least for tournaments using that stadium.
Of course, we would have to consider that it would make much of the western meta centre around hasbro stadia rather than ZGA, which would be weird, though I think if we encourage use of different stadia for tournaments in the same area (which isn't practical now given costs of importing even one takara stadium), we could get a real "prepare for the stadium" element going - sure, it would mean more to test, but I think ZGB and ZGD have shown somewhat that it's not a big enough change to make things that are otherwise useless "worthwhile", so it shouldn't be too big. I know I'm not the only one interested in seeing something like that (IIRC Kei is a fan of that kinda thing), too (we could even have the stadium drawn out of a hat at a tournament if there are enough of at least two, which would be even cooler). Of course, I'm really getting way ahead of myself here, the stadium could be a total flop, too, but I figured I'd post these musings anyway.

You're both technically right and wrong:
On the topic of demographics and markets, the fans who grew up with the original series and are now are in their late teen or early twenties or so are no longer the primary/target market, but secondary markets. What this means is that Hasbro is still trying to get us long-time fans(the secondary market) to buy their products, all while getting their main demographic (the primary market), which of course are children. Now, the consumers in the primary market will age, but the primary market doesn't change, thus they become part of the secondary market. So, when marketing their product, they're looking at the big picture instead of focusing only on the more important details.
2004-05 was a totally different age from now thanks to the social media platforms we're all using and social communities, an example being all of us at the WBO. With social media, Hasbro could get a better idea of what product lines are doing well and can technically get more immediate responses from their consumers. Sure, the Internet was around back when the original series was losing momentum, but it's a totally different ball park today.
BTW, if you haven't realized, every one of us is a marketer on this site. The most powerful influence on other people, are of course, other people, meaning YOU are the best marketer out there and are helping to keep this franchise alive.

I found a video that shows everything of beyblade, you can see all the names now, and what i noticed, the chrome wheels or warrior wheels, do not have stickers on them.... they look 'bald' without stickers....

They do have stickers, you can clearly see it on the Ifraid at the end ...
Also, the pockets, because of their depth, disturb the play way too much. It is supposed to be a smooth rotation, not a movement that is interrupted by a bump due to the pocket coming into contact with the floor too easily.

Wow, you really have to be kidding me. Ninja Salamander? This is probably one of the worst name changes in history. Why is Hasbro changing so much of this though? I feel like making Pirate Orochi and Samurai Ifrit was unreasonable. Loving the red on Thief Phoenix though

And it's "Darkhelm" instead of Hades, not Ice-Titan. Did anyone see the name change for Guardian Revizer? I can see that it's Guardian something, but I can't see the actual name. I think it starts with an H? Maybe?

Duo Uranus -> Duo Ice Titan. Definitely not the worst. It's not like anyone cares about Chrystal wheels anyways.
I wouldn't say unreasonable, because I'm sure there was SOME reasoning behind the changes.

Did anyone else notice that beautiful blue Killerken? That is a must have! Hopefully it won't be too much money or released in a dumb set with like 5 other useless beys. If only that Killerken was purple.....I might actually buy a Hasbro Killerken and paint it purple!
On a side note, I noticed the blue Orojya is matte but somehow Killerken isn't. The Phoenic looks glossy but it is hard to tell through the packaging. It is definitely a nice shade of red!

That ugly orange Bahamdia really doesnt fit the bey at all. Same with the ugly yellow Gryph. Hasbro will probably change Gryph to Griffin, and Bahamdia to Bahamut? Maybe.

It is ironic that the Hasbro representative fully admits in one of the videos that the BeyWarriors' arms will probably fly out of the arena during battle and that kids can just use another warrior's arms in replacement, but somehow having some Beyblades 'exit' and not 'fly out' is not fine at all.

I agree, but small plastic arms are less dangerous than metal tops. Though technically that is still pretty lame that they can let one thing go flying and not another.

Oh good lord, to quote somebody from the Magic Salvation board, Hasbro could put $100 bills in every Beyblade they release and you guys would find some way to complain about the way they folded them.
Seriously, I'm just excited to see them being released at all! I don't really care what they decide to name them, seeing as the name has quite literally no effect on its performance whatsoever. The only thing I've ever questioned name- or word-choice-wise about Beyblade was Hasbro's tagline "Let it Rip!", but it could be worse; Ninja Salamander is a non-problem in my book.

Technically, metal tops would not fly as high as plastic arms could ... There are other factors, but I never see a Metal Fight Beyblade go that high.
