RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Temporal - Sep. 23, 2011 ...SHIZZ. Dude, she has my condolences. It's hard to know someone with cancer. It's kinda like it doesn't really apply to you until it actually applies to you. (I know that makes zero sense.) You are all in your early teens, if that. Relationships should be taking a back seat to your hobbies. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Hammer Hades - Sep. 23, 2011 ok, so you suppose you should be sitting here typing away about your hobby while you girlfriend/boyfriend waits for you; people have feelings the internet doesnt Giving less time to the person you are in a relashionship because of a hobby is proposterous even if you gf/bf respects you and your interests. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Janstarblast - Sep. 23, 2011 @hammer hades- Well, its known that an excess of just anything is bad. You must do certain things, but never overdo it. As Dei said, give hobbies more priority. Not that forget about your relations, though. Do everything is proportion. Give hobbies more time than relations. That's what Dei meant, I suppose. Most importantly, as Hazel said- You do not need to give up on things you like for someone else. Yes, I agree that certain sacrifices need to be made, but one mustn't do it 'on demand'. Its upon you to decide whether you wanna give up on something or not. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Hammer Hades - Sep. 23, 2011 Janstarblast you have totally misinterpreted my message; my message was in fact that your hobby should be second priority but you should not give it up what is the point of being in a relationship where you do not respect one anothers interests RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Janstarblast - Sep. 23, 2011 Ah, I am sorry if that's the case. Have some time for yourself and other things. There isn't much attractive in a person who's sole interest is you. Except maybe when you're kids, and that moment happens during a maths class and you know she's the one. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Hammer Hades - Sep. 23, 2011 ok ok I got the point RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Kai-V - Sep. 23, 2011 You are twelve. Girlfriends or boyfriends are for later anyway. You are barely a teen yet ... RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Hammer Hades - Sep. 23, 2011 True but twelve year olds have parents and spend time around others too pluse I turn 13 in october RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - ElevatorMadness - Sep. 23, 2011 (Sep. 23, 2011 3:39 PM)hammer hades Wrote: True but twelve year olds have parents and spend time around others tooThis, I don't agree with. I just have to clear this up. Also I have to lay down that using age as a justification can become a horrible, horrible habit especially for preteens. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - .:J:. - Sep. 23, 2011 yeah, but tbh most of the people where I live are way more mature than normal 12 year olds, my moms friends and that say i should be a politician when i'm older. and I know that liking someone is just where you think someones attractive, but love is different. No, you really don't know the difference. Very, very few people in this thread do - and that's normal. There is nothing in the water in your area that makes people grow more intelligent or more emotionally mature faster. You could be the most emotionally advanced twelve year old alive and still not fathom the actual concept of a real relationship, or its consequences on your life, the life of your partner, and your emotional status. You're not some love savant, you're just level-headed enough not to get too invested yet. You will, someday, look back on every relationship you had in these formative years and consider them in a much different light. Don't get ahead of yourself. Letting yourself keep thinking you're "more mature than normal 12 year olds" is a cocky way to get the reality train slammed into your forehead. ...and, I'm really not sure what your mom's friends saying you should be a politician is supposed to contribute to your statement. That's like saying "BUT MY MOM SAYS I'M HANDSOME" when someone calls you unattractive. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Wizard - Sep. 23, 2011 (Sep. 23, 2011 3:44 AM)Sparta Wrote: I'm so upset. Most everyone in my youth has told me I'm destined to be some sort of CEO or President of something. The two are irrelevant. If you knew even an iota about love, you would know that attraction to someone makes people very, very immature and irrational at times due to released chemicals in the brain called idk what because I'm not a doctor. Advice: stop acting like you know everything about love because the experienced are just laughing at you on the inside.
