No. The GT40 was amazing. Also, you didn't answer my question. What are they used for? They look much nicer than the normal grills which are lines. The "chicken wire" as you refer to it, looks nice because of it's steel sleek black look. Also the flow of the exterior grooves are fantastic. The For GT40 is definintley a nice car, but the R8 is a meaner look beast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FS7G_fIHG_g Just look at it this way, in real life. What are they used for? As for those grilles, the black hexagonal grilles are really just asthetic touches. However they are in/cover various air intakes/ducts that route air to cool brakes, radiator, engine air intake (aft the doors, engine is behind the driver). I do like the R8, Audi did create something totally fresh, that version just looks cooler but not beautiful... [Image: alfa-8c.jpg] this Alfa 8c is imo one of the most beautiful in terms of design. There are plenty of awsome/sick/cool cars to emerge in recent years but few are beautiful... RE: Cars - McMongol - Dec. 05, 2008 COOLEST CAR EVER! [Image: cars-lightning-mcqueen.jpg] RE: Cars - Bey Brad - Dec. 05, 2008 Alfa always makes insanely cool looking cars. RE: Cars - SaMaster14 - Dec. 05, 2008 Well... my parents won't let me get a coupe, so I'm getting the G 35 Infiniti Sedan for my first car now. I can't wait, i have my permit and driving is really fun!! Here is another picture of my dads mercedes that I love so much: [Image: cls500andsnickerspictures002-1-1.jpg] My dad might get a new SL 63 AMG soon, its sooo nice! RE: Cars - bugturtles - Dec. 05, 2008 anyone have any good suggestions for first car? we might be selling the tacoma to the toyota dealers. they're offering 8000$ for it (they say it has some problem and this is their incentive to get their tacomas back) criteria: not overly expensive, lots of aftermarket support (optional), fun to both drive, race, and a little bit of drift. RWD is preferable, AWD is for anything other than RWD (meaning no FWD lol) thinking of a miata, but not really sure. any other suggestions? Well, I'm getting an infiniti G 35 Sedan, which has a nice loud engine, and is pretty fast and seems fun to drive. Its around $35,000 new... which is the low end for a luxury sports vehicle... but its still pretty expensive. But... listen, i'm not trying to brag about a G 35, I'm just saying is a good car, and i might be getting one. I'll probably get it USED though, maybe a year old or so, but still, it really isn't an expensive car, there are hondas and nissans and toyotas that are the same price... an expensive car in my eyes is a Ferrari or something..... RE: Cars - mdhvdukshsj - Dec. 05, 2008 that's great post about something else besides how much money you have RE: Cars - Ominous - Dec. 05, 2008 No part of me is Jewish in any way, shape, or form. Did someone mention money? Nice derailment Sa, no one cares how rich you are. All you're getting is a wannabe Skyline, so either go have a Super Sweet Sixteen and get a real one that you can't even drive yet because you don't have a liscense or shut the hell up. But hey bt! Well, to match all your criteria, you gotta go with a 240sx. But since everyone has those and it's what everyone else says, a Miata is also a nice option too. A Neon wouldn't work since it's basically going against what he's looking for. If ~8000 is your budget I'd try looking at like an early 90s model RX-7 or Supra. Maybe an MR2, aswell. Those things are pretty tight. Or you could get that Eclipse GSX! carp crazy cool doode! RE: Cars - SaMaster14 - Dec. 05, 2008 I didn't see his criteria. I'm sorry. I really don't want to make enemys. I'll shut up. Looking at your budget... What about a used mustang or vw jetta? |
