If a domain manager were to see this he could easily and legally terminate Brad's domain name and effectively this board as well as the Wiki.

Running Leopard on a PC is an exploitation of a software hole, thus making it illegal. Anytime you use something for a purpose that it was not explicitly intended for it's generally considered illegal.
I think this most certainly qualifies as one of those cases. Don't go getting all bent out of shape because Brad asked you not to talk about this here. It may be a legitimate question or whatever, but it's questionable in terms of what can and can't be discussed on this board. I don't think it unreasonable at all of Brad to ask you not to talk about it here.

The part where it was specifically designed to run only on Apple machines. The only reason this is possible is because of a software loophole. Exploiting that loophole is, as I understand it, illegal.

When you install OS X, you agree to a license agreement which means you agree to only use it on Apple-branded hardware.

On the issue of installing OSX on a non apple branded computer: It is not "illegal" in the sense that it is a violation of criminal law.
You can't be prosecuted for it.
However, if Apple discovers that you have done so, they do have a case to sue you for possible breach of contract, that beign the EULA that you agree to prior to installing, and loss of earnings resulting from your not buying a Mac.
The good news is that they most likely wouldn't bother. So long as you have a legitimate copy of OSX you've made them money that they otherwise would not have made. Additionally, it would not be worth their time bringing a lawsuit to court because the harm to their business is negligible or non-existant if you're using a legit copy, purchased from Apple.
From what I understand, it's probably best to run it as VMWare, so you have a virtual desktop within windows, which saves you killing your MBR and having to fish out the XP install disk to repair it.
Interestingly, the EULA actually states that you may only install OSX on an "Apple labelled" computer.
So, even if it went to court, you might be able to slap an Apple logo sticker on your PC and claim that as your defense.

Driver support is basically non-existant, that's the main hurdle. You tend to need very specific chipsets present to get it working at all.
I think there are significantly modofied versions, supplied with specialised installers, but that is going into the realm of piracy.

Well...Back on topic.
I'll be getting either a Macbook or Macbook Pro next summer. Hopefully a redesign will happen before then. My brother has Leopard on his Macbook and it seems a little buggy right now, but I think it will be a good improvement.
