RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Ozzy - Sep. 05, 2010 Thank you Shadow. Your results are what the combo's results should look like. Thats what I get. RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Temporal - Sep. 05, 2010 Will Thermal Pisces be any good on a 125 track? It seems to be a good median to 145 and 90, but the lowest track I have is 100. Can someone test MF Thermal Pisces 125WD against 85-90 based attackers? RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - ShadowPegasis - Sep. 05, 2010 MF will reduce stamina type spin times. RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Temporal - Sep. 05, 2010 I'm trying to find a good 125 based bey to counter 90 and 85. (Though I've faced 85 only twice...) The point of the MF is to make pisces heavier and harder to knock around with Quetz. I'm not trying to find a sure win tactic, I just want to stand a chance. RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Corey - Sep. 05, 2010 Why suggest Thermal, then? It was tested as a defensive blade a while ago and the results weren't great. Wouldn't you want something that's already proven as a defensive blade? And doesn't lowering the track make for increased wheel-to-wheel contact with quetz...which is what you try to avoid when battling against a low attacker? RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Deadpool - Sep. 05, 2010 So , has anyone tried Ray_CH120 RF / CS , combo's yet ? It can KO them with some consistency, but it's win percentage isn't terribly high against any Stamina combos, and I seem to remember it having trouble with Earth more than any other Wheel anyways. RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Fyuuor - Sep. 07, 2010 (Sep. 07, 2010 12:54 PM)RエスコルピオT125JB Wrote: I'm not surprised with your results against Defense, but I'm wondering, did you bank when VS Stamina combos? MF LDrago 100WF can KO them easily. (In my tests.)I was using a banking shot for L Drago against both defence and stamina types while using a straight shot for the opposing combinations. Against defence L Drago had the ability to KO an opponent though it wasn't necessary for it to do so in order to win the battle as it had the ability to outspin the opponent. In regards to L Drago facing a stamina combo KO'ing the opponent became a necessity. In all honesty I actually find it easier to control RF then I do WF, with WF it doesn't seem to retain a flower pattern as easily as what RF does, and for that reason landing a succession of clean hits which are strong enough to knock out a stamina type rather difficult; if L Drago didn't accomplish this within the strict time frame in the beginning of the battle then the stamina combination would always win by a small margin. RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Nojo294 - Sep. 07, 2010 Thanks for doing the tests fyuuor. It seems that l drago 100wf is only strong against defense types, while losing to a type that it should have an advantage against. According to these tests, it should not remain on the potential top tier list IMO. What about you guys? RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Corey - Sep. 07, 2010 I personally agree. I fooled around with this for an hour this morning and simply couldn't get good win rates against any combos. Tried many different shooting techniques, different power, angles, the whole works. Nothing. Maybe it's just not for me, but I really didn't get wins with it. Nothing. I suppose MF L Drago 100WF could be replaced with MF L L Drago 100WD, though it must be said that both LL Drago and Kei's L Drago combo suffer the same weakness of opponents with an Earth Wheel combined with a SD or WD tip. IDK I'm still partial to leaving the destailizer combo in the list as it still can acheive an incredible win rate against defence types, ecspically now with the introduction of RS resulting in more defence orientated combos. RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Kei - Sep. 08, 2010 You guys should also keep in mind that MF L Drago 100WF can do well against Attack types as well. Simply straight shooting with WF allows it to move insanely fast around the Tornado Ridge, often resulting in it KOing the RF-based opponent. And if this doesn't happen, it will surely outspin the RF custom. RE: Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos (NOW TESTING) - Nojo294 - Sep. 08, 2010 Hmm then I will leave it on because it at least has an amazing win rate against defense types so I will put that in brackets. |
