The only thing that seams real is the fusion wheel but that's heavy as carp is blitz supposed to be light or heavy? Ahem, it was your fault for not reading the description. It should be around that weight, the fake ones are lighter than genuine though. RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Ultimate Libra - Mar. 30, 2014 Dude attack type rings aren't as heavy as this its heavier than a freaking Rick wheel and that's heavy its also made out of stainless steel you could run the ring over with a bus and not scratch it! I know its my fault but I was really excited that I found one with a good price and free shipping that I forgot to check! Rock not Rick stupid Swype thing I hate this phone some times! This was not meant to be spam I was just trying to fix my wording and I needed it to be longer so I added the other stuff so just ignore the stuff I added its not important! RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Kai-V - Mar. 30, 2014 Rock is actually one of the first Metal Wheel and therefore not one of the heavier at all. Blitz is 4D, so it is indeed supposed to be heavier. RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Ultimate Libra - Mar. 30, 2014 Didn't know that! RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - MissingNo. - Apr. 01, 2014 To everybody : don't buy beyblade on eBay from the saler 8ook, he sale fake beyblades in original hasbro package !!! 100% fakes !!! I think he oppened it from under, don't really know but there was a little incision. The beyblade's package was hasbro 100% authentic (Metal Fusion) but the beyblade was 100% fake. Really frustrating, i pay it 15 $ !! On the description, the saler says : Authentic Hasbro... LIER ! RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Leone19 - Apr. 01, 2014 Looking at all of his products, they indeed seem to be official by Hasbro- considering Rapdity and other fake companies, to my knowledge, did not release colors exactly like the Hasbro's two pack recolors. The way you just described how he opened it and replaced it with fake parts makes little to no sense- how would he take out the "tray" and slide it back in with fake parts exactly like the original? Considering he had Metal Masters two packs, it'd be nearly impossible to replace those parts with fakes, without it being obvious. Can you prove that they were fakes? I've buy a Metal Fusion Storm Capricorn hasbro from 8ook, and immediatly i saw that M145 was in two colors, purple and translucid purple. Also, the mechanism of M145 (Hasbro's is supposedly stronger) move freely. Q have a strange shape, Storm is not in real metal, the plastic of energy ring is cheap, also, on the tool, theres not the hasbro or takara tom'ys TM (absolutely nothing on it) 100% fake and honorless seller RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - DRAGON KING - Apr. 02, 2014 Can you post a picture? Here is my album :http://imgur.com/a/Uzdww RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Cannon - Apr. 03, 2014 That packaging seems a little bit odd to me; I don't ever recall Hasbro packaging their product with that zip like thing on the bottom. It's always been a piece of card board and then the plastic on top of the front. The barcode looks funny as well, I believe there's never been a box around it and also the WBBA sticker is slanted. Product-wise, there's never been a clear M145Q in a starter pack, only in doubles and perhaps Takara's set releases (?). So yeah, I think you should ask for a refund or contact eBay if they don't reply. M145 move freely and it is in two colors. The Storm wheel is not in metal ect... RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - th!nk - Apr. 03, 2014 I'm pretty sure they never have. BeyBouncer, you should definitely contact the seller and let them know the beyblade inside the packaging was fake, though the packaging itself, maybe aside from the plastic, appears legitimate. Keep in mind they may well be completely unaware about it, they may have been sold them themselves as legitimate goods. The storm wheel still looks metal, just very low quality metal, yes, fake, but still, metal. I am very curious about how it was done though, so if you could help me with some of my questions I'd appreciate it: First off, in this photo: http://i.imgur.com/JM2eRv9.jpg I'm not quite sure what I'm seeing, and this looks like the most obvious point of entry so that's important. Is the plastic sitting as it did when it arrived - basically does it really jut out like that and then reach that seam there? If so, does the plastic around that area seem thinner at all? The holographic sticker, was that sitting over the plastic when you opened it, and that's why it's come up, or did it come like that? Finally, on the back of the main cardboard piece, is the hasbro logo present towards the bottom? I have to say, I've not seen something like this before, so I'm very interested in seeing how the seller responds, so do keep us updated if you would. EDIT: Okay so I took a closer look at his auction pictures and they actually show fakes in the boxes too. In this one on the left side you can see the plastic doesn't appear to align with the packaging (take a good hard look at that bull and holo sticker too!) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ORIGINAL-Hasbro-Beyblade-Metal-Fusion-DARK-BULL-BALANCE-H145SD-BB40-TOPS-BLADES-/181054975648?pt=TV_Movie_Character_Toys_US&hash=item2a27b7aea0 Something interesting going on along the same side of this Rock Aries: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ORIGINAL-Hasbro-Beyblade-Metal-Fusion-ROCK-ARIES-BALANCE-ED145B-BB45-TOPS-NEW-/181054978293?pt=TV_Movie_Character_Toys_US&hash=item2a27b7b8f5 And his Flame Sagittario's Clear Wheel is pretty obviously not the right shade of yellow: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ORIGINAL-Hasbro-Beyblade-Metal-Fusion-FLAME-SAGITTARIO-STAMINA-SGTD-C145S-BB35-/170968471404?pt=TV_Movie_Character_Toys_US&hash=item27ce83d76c So yeah, that's not a one off, for sure, his entire stock is probably the same - fakes in authentic-looking packaging. EDIT 2: Okay, if you look at the seller's negative feedback: http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=8ook&myworld=true&items=25&iid=-1&de=off&which=negative&interval=365 There are other people who have received fake items from him (though there's no telling what they were), and he offered one of them a refund on the condition of removing the negative feedback. Assuming you still have time to open a case with ebay/paypal, do so, and report what has happened to them - you should be able to get a full refund from paypal either way and maybe get something done about him at the same time. His metal master stuff *looks* legitimate but further searching found identical items available from another person on DHGate who sells fakes (including like the above ones) at decent volumes - so those are probably fake too, but it's hard to tell. I'm thinking he's bought them under the pretense that they are legitimate and at most is trying to offload them to get his money back. From here on there's nothing much about 8ook, instead I'm looking at where he may have got them from or just generally compiling other examples. in fact while I was browsing around, I forget what I was searching for, but I found this: http://www.dhgate.com/product/hasbro-beyblade-spin-top-toy-clash-beyblade/98095269.html Dark Bull is once again the star of the show (and the thumbnail I clicked in google image search for obvious reasons), and while it's harder to tell overall the metal again looks quite odd (most visible on the Dark Gasher) and the plastic alignment is a bit off on some, and the packaging again is somewhat damaged (crease in the rock aries' cardboard towards the top, for example). One of his negative feedbacks mentions counterfeit beyblades, too. He has some of the beyblades 8ook stocks but not all of them in that auction - I'm currently seeing if I can find any other beyblades from mrtang there to see if he has the rest. EDIT 3: Not relevant to 8ook any more, however, here's something from mrtang on another site: http://www.orientpass.com/product-show-22501.html And here's another seller. I was searching for mrtang specifically and this came up but I have no clue if it's also him, however here we see the transparent M145 that BeyBouncer has there: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/free-shipping-wholesale-HASBRO-original-beyblade-metal-fusion-BB59-beyblade-burn-fireblaze-metal-fusion-toy-you/497439570.html And another, also found by searching mrtang, this one's on Dhgate with exactly the same pictures but different watermarks: http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/hasbro-beyblade-metal-fusion-beyblades-8/133051628.html#sc1-2-1|3658242827 just like mrtang he also has more obvious fakes - this is why you never buy a legitimate looking beyblade off anyone who sells fakes. http://www.dhgate.com/product/new-arrival-hasbro-beyblade-performance-top/124892613.html#s1-22-1a|2041724518 This seller has a bunch of the metal fusion fakes (same images, different watermark) but also these - one of them has the holo sticker misaligned, but the metal looks quite normal. They could well be authentic from what I know of the regular packaging but given they're from the same sellers, I doubt it - but how you're supposed to tell these are fakes if they're listed somewhere before you actually get them and inspect the quality and check for correct molding marks etc is beyond me. I mean in some cases the part color may be a little off (the Lacerta clear wheel is a different shade to my Takara one, but then that might be the case for Hasbro), so I dunno. If that's the case then they've also gone as far as to use green plastic for sonic series packaging (this seller has the same pictures for metal fusion stuff, again with different watermarks) http://www.dhgate.com/product/2011-newest-beyblade-metal-fusion-original/126213816.html#s5-2-1a|2886762705 There are tonnes and tonnes of listings and sellers like these, almost all the same photos with different watermarks, if you search for 'beyblade hasbro' on dhgate and some of the sales go back to 2011 so I'm surprised we haven't heard about this sooner, but I think at this point for hasbro stuff at least, it's kinda hard to verify authenticity unless it's coming from a reputable supplier etc. Ergh. Aaaand here's one on another site, Aliexpress: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/HASBRO-Beyblades-Metal-Fusion-Attack-Battle-Top-BB28-Storm-Pegasus-can-mix-BB29-BB30-BB31-BB37/430731826.html Note the listing says "Hasbro Packing" and lists the beyblade as a second point. While I doubt fake manufacturers managed to get their hands on a whole lot of authentic hasbro packaging, you'd be hard pressed to prove that the packaging itself was fake. Though, that could well not be a sneaky workaround and just a weird way of listing things. Sorry this is so long, I'm compiling what I find, I'll send it to Hasbro, don't know if they'll be interested at all but I'm kinda hoping there's a reason fakes usually lack their logo, haha. The key point for everyone here is that Hasbro items can no longer be assumed as legitimate based off the logo or even presence of the holographic sticker - if buying Hasbro stuff online you should look very carefully - make sure the packaging plastic lines up right and all the parts are correctly position, the holographic sticker is in the right place and decently aligned, the Metal Wheel doesn't look 'sparkly' (as in small granular sparkles), the parts are all definitely the right color, and if you can't tell, just avoid creased/damaged packaging outright too, seeing as that tends to be common too. There may also be practically indistinguishable Metal Masters fakes, so while it is rather hard to confirm, for Metal Masters stuff, I would probably not even buy online other than from someone getting them directly from Hasbro. You may miss a legitimate one in the process, yes, but if you don't you take the risk of getting a fake (though hopefully ebay and paypal will help you out). Finally, I've not seen any Metal Fury or Shogun Steel fakes (well, packaging wise - the fake metal fury beys were all in Metal Masters branded packaging without legitimate logos etc), so that's something. However, if the parts from the full-box Hasbro-marked Metal Fury stuff weren't completely checked for molding marks and so on (and if they came with tools, for copyrights etc) then we'd want to do that, based on the metal masters ones. RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - MissingNo. - Apr. 03, 2014 Thanks Th!nk for that complete review. This : http://i.imgur.com/JM2eRv9.jpg represent where the seller oppened the box for switch pieces. You know, I still want a Hasbro Storm Capricorn, so I make some researchs and found that : http://www.ebay.com/itm/BEYBLADE-METAL-FUSION-Battle-Top-Storm-Capricorn-BNIP/390308317922?_trksid=p2050601.c100085.m2372&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140211132617%26meid%3D5944768942616987842%26pid%3D100085%26prg%3D20140211132617%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D390308317922%26clkid%3D5944769557135739785&_qi=RTM1562569 the seller have 100% positive feedback but the price for my country is around 22 $, that's why I asked on ''Ask a Question get an answer !'' for the difference between TT's M145 and Hasbro's. I don't have yet a salary so 22 $ is kinda expensive for me. I can only buy on eBay or Amazon, so it's hard for me to find items with a good price... Have you saw a best offer, for that item ??
