I'm begining to think so. I just find it funny that people we be like, "OMG WHO'S HOSTING" and then when I volunteer, silence. I don't see why me hosting is any different from someone else. Jerks.

Stop playing Smash. Go play oldschool platformers with and insane learners curve, and an even insaner difficulty setting. I recommend N+. You'll thank me later.

Well, moral of the story is that there is money to be made by playing platformers. You just have to be able to beat something like lets say, Megaman, in like an hour. The pay is probably nothing compared to if you become pro at WoW, [insert FPS title here], Madden, and [insert fighting game here] because you can't really have tournaments with platformers, only time based events I guess.
Also you're not missing much. The Wizard is an hour and a half long Nintendo infomercial that occasionally airs on The Family Channel here.

That's Steve Wiebe. And, no, he didn't, because
1) Twin Galaxies doesn't give cash prizes except on a rare occasion. If he did get money it was for an appearance.
2) He didnt' break the record. The only thing you get for those things is a certificate.

I still play games for the fun of it. As a matter of fact, I play Smash competitivly for the fun of it, not for the money, the money is just a bonus.

Ok so some of you might have been wondering where I've been the past few days. I don't have a real internet connection right now so I'm going to make an update here for everyone to see. If you want to spread the word to other people over messenger/PM/whatever that's fine.
So I've posted here before about how much of an carp my Dad is. Well, we got into it again last night for some really stupid carp that I don't really feel like going into right now. Basically it was a culmination of all the stupid carp he's put me through over the past year or so, and I just couldn't put up with it anymore so I decided to pack my things and leave. Permanently.
I've been staying the night at my grandmother's house (which I have my own key to just for an occasion like this) the past two nights. I've talked to my Mom in person since then and I told her what was going on, that I was moving in here for the foreseeable future and she told me that she doesn't blame me at all, that if her father treated her the way that mine treats me she would've taken off years ago.
So yeah... I don't have an internet connection here and I've been using my phone for messenger/tethering on my PC to post quick updates here. I don't want to post my phone number here or anything, but those of you who might want it that don't already have it know who to ask.
That's it I guess, just wanted to let everyone know what's going on.
