RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Hypnofist - Sep. 10, 2016 (Sep. 10, 2016 4:01 AM)johnwolf Wrote:(Sep. 10, 2016 3:47 AM)Bey Brad Wrote: I dunno, Hasbro usually releases RB prizes as standalone releases which seems better to me. Only downside is lack of color variety, but Takara-Tomy isn't going anywhere ... Blind bags are possible, not sure if they'd actually do it, but tons of other toys, some of hasbro's included, have blind bags now. I've gotten my kids the hot wheels blinds a few times, and my little pony has had it for years now. We just have to wait and see if hasbro wants to do it. Personally, I think they'll just stick with the normal packaging and just put out the recolors over time, so we'll get more frequent waves of product, but not as many new beys in each wave, after the first at least. I just want them to release the recolors in some way, and they already do this with transformers, so it's not out of character for them. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Raigeko13 - Sep. 10, 2016 It isn't impossible to think that they would release the random boosters. However, I would put it deep into the realm of very unlikely, as they've never done anything like it before, iirc. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - ToxicAtom - Sep. 10, 2016 What I'd hope Hasbro did would be to have blind bags that contain only recolors, no new parts. Release Takara's Prize Bey as a standalone, as they always have. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Brisk AquarioHD - Sep. 10, 2016 ^ I completely agree. I'm a big fan of recolors - it would be interesting to have recolors in blind bags. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - TrainiacJ - Sep. 10, 2016 If Hasbro made blind bag exclusive recolors, I would buy the heck out of those. Maybe they could do them like Random Boosters and have the Plastics remakes as prizes? That would rule. ![]() RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Brisk AquarioHD - Sep. 10, 2016 Oh god, yessss. *squeal* RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - cosmicstriker - Sep. 10, 2016 No, i hate buying luck based products. Even in TCG, competitive players buy their cards. I would rather buy knowing what i'm getting. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Kei - Sep. 10, 2016 They also changed Rising Ragnaruk to Raging Ragnaruk. I thought I heard them say this in the anime, but wasn't sure when they said it. Looks like this confirms it. Weird that they don't have the full names on the actual products in stores, though. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Hato - Sep. 10, 2016 (Sep. 10, 2016 8:55 PM)Kei Wrote: They also changed Rising Ragnaruk to Raging Ragnaruk. Yeah, I realized that instantly when I heard Storm Spryzen.. I don't get it. Along with that, they didn't change the CGI models.. gah. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Kei - Sep. 10, 2016 Beyblade Burst Website - Parent's Guide Wrote:These battles focus on the value of real sports such as good sportsmanship, teamwork, healthy competition, persistence and practice. Your children can have fun battling individually and can also form and compete as a part of teams or leagues, offering different levels of interaction. Emphasis is mine. "Teams or leagues" ...? Wonder what this means. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Jinbee - Sep. 10, 2016 (Sep. 10, 2016 8:51 PM)Hato Wrote:(Sep. 10, 2016 8:48 PM)Kei Wrote: New official Beyblade website has launched! http://ca.beyblade.com/ Awww man did Kensuke really needed to be shortened down? Ken isn't that bad but Kensuke isn't that hard to remember either, plus they kept an equally long name Rantaro. Not sure why Sunrights shortens always the name but Ken is an okay name so whatever. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - cosmicstriker - Sep. 10, 2016 Well, Ken is an English name, Kensuke is not. EDIT: I found a way to get into the canadian version of the website: Kaiser Kerbeus is now King Kerbeus Kensuke's full name is Ken Midori The anime will use dual layer type names (if you haven't noticed already) Look at Mana's post vvvv GG lol RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - ~Mana~ - Sep. 10, 2016 So basically... Valt Aoi remains unchanged. Shu Kurenai remains unchanged. Rantaro Kiyama remains unchanged. Kensuke Midorikawa is now Ken Midori. Daina Kurogami is now Daigo Kurogami. Ker is now Keru. Bes is now Besu. Valtryek V2 appears as Victory Valtryek. Spryzen S2 appears as Storm Spryzen. Kerbeus K2 appears as King Kerbeus. Roktavor R2 appears as Raging Roktavor. Doomscizor D2 appears as Dark Doomscizor. I feel like there's been a huge miscommunication between Sunrights and Hasbro with those Beyblade names... Yup because Rantaro, Valt and Shu totally are as well. I mean Ken is fine but I would rather they kept Kensuke, but that's just me. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Mitsu - Sep. 10, 2016 (Sep. 10, 2016 8:48 PM)Kei Wrote: New official Beyblade website has launched! http://ca.beyblade.com/ The website design definitely compensates for the lack of effort Hasbro put into the actual product, LOL. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - LOL-y Rancher - Sep. 10, 2016 The renames aren't actually bad. It could've been a hell of a lot worse IMO. Ken sounds fine albeit predictable and Daina's rename is odd. I guess the creators thought Daina's name was just waaayyyyyy too feminime (as it sounds like the name Dinah). RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Bey Brad - Sep. 10, 2016 (Sep. 10, 2016 9:10 PM)Mitsu Wrote:(Sep. 10, 2016 8:48 PM)Kei Wrote: New official Beyblade website has launched! http://ca.beyblade.com/ This website has high production values, but I have to say, I hate it. It's so slow and difficult to navigate. And the toys section is "coming soon" LOL Raging Roktavor and King Kerbeus are cool. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - TrainiacJ - Sep. 10, 2016 How do you navigate the website i'm slowly loosing my mind trying help RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada, international launch 2017 - Mitsu - Sep. 10, 2016 (Sep. 10, 2016 9:17 PM)Bey Brad Wrote: This website has high production values, but I have to say, I hate it. It's so slow and difficult to navigate. I mean, that's kind of to be expected of a website that was just released to the public, no? The only issue I really came across was in the Characters section, where the renders would start off a bit blurry. Everything else was pretty clean for me.
