i just dont understand why-- oh. i was gonna say they shouldmake teeth outta metal. no thats too expensive.
They can fix the problem, just give the Beys slopes and not teeth.

How? The gimmick isn't that they are TT Beys, it's that they are competitive Beys. It makes no sense to give them teeth.

Unless they can make it non-compatible with the main Hasbro line I don’t see it happening. This is because the pro series is meant to be separate from the main Hasbro line. Also if you were to make new beys with slopes this would mean that the pro series already released aren’t compatible with the new pro series making it seem sort of weird. All in all the best thing for Hasbro to do is do something with the teeth.

The use of teeth is my main problem with the series. The importance of customization in a game like beyblade can't be overstated. Customization is what gives life to the beyblade game and with it limited to such an extent for no reason, it's just sad. And no, the Beys don't have to be compatible with previous pro series Beys, as those are faulty products.

If Hasbro wanted to make the pro series compatible with the main series I’m sure they would have done it. Also I say that the new pro series has to be compatible with the old pro series because the old are still going to be on the shelf which will just make things all the more confusing. And before you say well why not just take the first wave off the shelves, Hasbro’s corporate deals with that so yeah no chance that’s happening.

The Pro Series, which I have first-hand experience with all the current three, has practically no difference (except for a few different stock combo parts). The teeth do not wear down faster.

People like Shindog, and BladeKid who have shown in video their experience shows how easily the teeth can wear, or the countless segments I've done on Wave 2 showing how easily it wears down.

The teeth do wear down faster.

There is a difference between Pro and TT for the simple reason that Hasbro chose to use a weaker plastic through a simple hardness test.

Hasbro is planning to make a new wave, with Beys like Judgment Joker. i doubt that they will change the plastic, though.

What I believe is that hasbro just took the "hasbro fans want more TT like Beys" and just didn't understand why.

Why cant spin master or another toy company just get the license for beyblade burst and start making the beys the right way?

Because that would mean spin master would have to buy the rights to beyblade from TT or hasbro, if done with just one company would break cause ether company to sue the other. Even if they buy the rights and transition the agreement from hasbro to spin master it would cost a whole ton of money that ultimately won’t be made back since burst will most likely end in DB if not 2/3 years.

It’s not like Hasbro is making beys the wrong way. It’s just that the vision for Hasbro pro series is new for Hasbro so they’re really confused.

RE: Hasbro pro teeth wear - DeltaZakuro - Apr. 03, 2021

A thing to note is that the beys they've released aren't even viable and/or outclassed in today's meta

ChoZ Valtryek - outclassed

ChoZ Achilles - outclassed

Orb Engaard - heavely outclassed

Zwei Luinor - might still have uses but still outclassed by Rage

Judgement Joker - may still have uses but still outclassed by Super, First and Brave

Perfect Phoenix - not sure if pP is still relevant so someone may need to answer that for me.

If a almost 100 year old toy company is confused over releasing a spinning toy, I get a bad feeling overall.

Hasbro is not a company that needs trial and error to set their standards for durability. By this point it's clear that the products have issues. They haven't fixed it, they didn't attempt to fix it and they haven't even addressed it in an official post.

I don't see them fixing the issue, a redesign to slopes isn't possible at this point and a reproduction with different material (harder plastic) seems very unlikely to me.

And yes, they are making beys the wrong way. If a quality "pro" line up for $20 - $30 (yes, they are $30 over here) toys has significant quality issues, then they are clearly doing these products the wrong way.

It's always felt more like a showcase of what was once meta that's slowly creeping up to TT.

That much being said, and since you asked, pP is still slightly relevant. This release also makes Engaard more relevant as a known counter to pP, but even then there's an increasing amount of ways to beat it without using that.

RE: Hasbro pro teeth wear - 6Jupiter5 - Apr. 04, 2021

Got my hands on cho-z Achilles. Really disappointed with teeth wear. Now I don’t think Hasbro’s going to suddenly switch to slopes because it’s marketed as a more competitive line, but it’s really just supposed to be like TT, so I would like to think that Hasbro’s trying to make the teeth system better, but who knows.

RE: Hasbro pro teeth wear - duskcircle123 - May. 17, 2021

I got the new Zwei Luinor pro series bey and I didnt see any teeth wear. As long as I used only pro series drivers and no parts from tt or main hasbro releases, the teeth were fine. I clicked it like 20 times for s sort of stress test and the teeth showed no signs of wear. My younger brother also just bought judgement joker and he didn't notice any teeth issues either. The thing is, when I first got my pro series cho-z valtryek, the teeth wore down on the first day. Rn, my zwei is not even getting a scratch. Also, I know that is a dead thread, I just wanted to inform people.
