RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Ultimate - Apr. 30, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGc2Kz49Hkk&feature=relmfu So the Playstation Network is back up on May 3rd. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - ArmorD00taku - Apr. 30, 2011 Well Xbox fanboys are happy because the PS3 got hacked, just be ause they gotta pay online and get RROD. And Plus PS3 and Xbox can't compare to Gaming PCs. So and what? Other than that the haxxors did do one thing right, to get your butts off the couch, go outside, and hang out with friends. So I find these hackers... Positive. Don't know much about their motives though. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Nano - Apr. 30, 2011 (Apr. 28, 2011 11:21 PM)Ryuk Wrote: All of this carp sucks. It's like the hackers intentionally hacked the PSN during Spring Break so that kids won't have anything to do. Nothing is the same as online gaming. And no, I don't have an Xbox. People have spring break at different times. I had mine a while ago. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Chups - Apr. 30, 2011 This really shows the Power of Hackers. Its nearly scary the things you can do on a Computer. (A PS3 counts as a Computer, Its computer Based) Get Millions of Details from anyone who has signed up. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - No interest - Apr. 30, 2011 I was just going to sign in the other day and couldn't. I forgot all about this my dad told me about it. I've bought a lot from the PSN store but can't be bothered anymore with it which was a waste of my money (could have gone to more beyblades) then I find out the PS3 have been hacked and someone could have my card details, what next. So I had to get the xbox 360 out again that I'm trying to sell for the slim version and kinect. I don't think I'll bother any more with the online part just play the games they get pretty boring to though. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Dude - Apr. 30, 2011 Okay, you guys need to stop going "Haw-haw! The PSN got hacked! I KNEW IT NOW I CAN SHOW OFF TO ALL MY PS3-OWNING FRIENDS" It could just as easily have happened to the 360: A bunch of skilled hackers are sick of paying for online play, so they hack all that stuff. Seriously, be mature, guys. Other than that, it's pretty cool that the PSN will finally be back online. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Ninja Crab - Apr. 30, 2011 it wont be back on untill this wed to fri so said the news RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Agitation - May. 01, 2011 Quote:Some PlayStation Network And Qriocity Services To Be Available This Weekhttp://blog.eu.playstation.com/ RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - SK - May. 01, 2011 i dont really care about who did it, sony carp suck or even letting this happen, now my credit card info might be stolen? wtf i'm never buying anything on psstore again Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - DragoonTalon - May. 01, 2011 Stop complaing, I don't even own a PS3, but I would not be mad at sony because my Credit Card was stolen, I would blame the hackers. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Dude - May. 02, 2011 I agree, stop complaining. It's not Sony's fault a bunch of mad men with excellent hacking skills decided to go nuts on their online service. Besides, you think Sony cares about your business? They're already loaded. Stop buying stuff on the PSN, for all we and they care, just stop whinning too. And, like I said, a good idea would have been to not put your credit card number online! No matter how secure their system is, hackers can make it through. And, like I said, it's your own fault: You put your credit card number and info online. This is just so stupid. I'm not gonna have any problem because I haven't put it online. Just stop buying their stuff, then. Your single business will not be missed. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Newt - May. 02, 2011 I'm quite supprised sony didn't have a back up incase of an event like this. No matter how secure their system is, hackers can make it through. there is no such thing as a superhacker or w/e you're talking about. if there were, they would hack bigger things than psn: ebay, youtube, paypal, microsoft etc. psn got hacked because it wasn't secure enough it's not stupid to put your credit card info on a service which is EXPECTED to be safe. you're basically saying that the billions people who use sites like ebay, paypal, etc are stupid are you a sony rep since you're saying it wont be missed? because according to what jæms posted, they're offering me free games and playstation plus membership if i don't remove my credit card info. you seriously have no idea how business works so you shouldn't talk about it with all due respect RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Dude - May. 02, 2011 Yeah, maybe you're right Sorry if I sounded...uhh...pretentious, or something XD Although I think they're just giving the free games (Which will probably be lame) as a weak apology for the week-long maintenance. Probably not really gonna be worth it, though XD Anyway, isn't the PSN scheduled to come back tomorrow? I'm glad, since the third eisode of the Back To The Fututre game is coming out tomorrow. Don't wanna miss that. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - To - May. 02, 2011 Uh, I'd call billion dollar retailers, security firms, and banks all bigger than the PSN and yet there's countless examples of all of them being hacked for credit card information and the such. This isn't unheard of. If hackers want to break something, they probably could. Also, the PSN probably won't be back tomorrow. Hirai said this week, and mentioned that the PlayStation Store wasn't going to be one of the services up this week. Edit: I've got to kind of laugh at the lack of attention span this forum has. All the stuff JAEMS posted was in that press release that Ruka posted before. Given how important this matter is, spending an entire 5 minutes reading the press releases won't hurt. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Dude - May. 02, 2011 Disappointing Oh well. Surely, it'll be worth the wait when it's finally released. RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - TITAN - May. 02, 2011 This is now day 13 of PSN being down. Though I haven't gotten to get a demo in 2 weeks, I can't wait to get PS+ and my demos back. And maybe Anonymous could hack those other services, they just have a bone to pick with PS3. How many credit cards do you expect to still be operational at this point? It's SOE as well. No one really plays their games (I haven't). This is getting a little annoying RE: Anonymous- Hackers of PSN. - Agitation - May. 05, 2011 I bought an expensive headset just before the network went down, I haven't even used the thing yet. Apparently it was meant to be back online yesterday however we're steering into the "sometime this week" instead. My bets are on further delays as sony already claimed they're taking their time. |
