Why does Hasbro make these carp stuff? Tha piece of carp Winning Valkrie wasn't worth the plastic it was made of then they released a pro series version that is the TT version. At this rate we won't get the "pro series" quad drive beys until 2024.

In a word, profits. If you can sell off of gimmicks and hype, why not do that over spending more to make stuff worth buying?

Got my hands on this

Just ask8bg, is Venture good? I think it’s the best QD bottom for attack, as it’s just a flat.

I think I realised QD’s tip system could probably have referenced MFB’s (the non gimmicky ones of course, I’m looking at you Ch120)

Just use a naked Assault-Q if you need a flat tip. Already better than +Venture with no real effort just because you're not so insanely tall.

I think saying its meant to imitate CH120 is a bit off too, they're probably just trying to exploit the already existing height change mechanic from DB and fitting another tip over your tip itself requires a certain amount of vertical space to accomplish.

Nah, it’s just I admire the spin tracks of MFB. I wish QD can look like that

pro series is looking good

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - DragoonGalaxy15 - Apr. 19, 2022

If Hasbro does Ultimate, i think for the tip they'll do the normal tip as "Awakened" Variable (plastic flat), and for the Armor tip they'll do an "Unawakened" Variable, similar to (the unholy sin that is) Evolution-S

Makes the most sense they done it with Shot-Q and Quattro-Q.

Just want to note for Glory Regnar my guess is the driver will be Xtend+-Q and the attachment will be Xtend+ activated mode.

Evolution Slingshock was never released.

Yeah, for some reason, it took the bakugan style of being marketed and never getting released. Sigh*

I'm surprised with how long it took to get Pegasus, but it looks pretty good, like a lot of their Pro Series line. I do wonder if it'll just be Chouzetsu and GT, or will they do one for Sparking as well?

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - p0l1w4g06 - Apr. 22, 2022

Just asking, is Ultimate Reboot really that underrated or is it just bad.

I’ve checked every store (Kmart, Target, Big W, Myer, Toyworld, Toymate etc.) and only Wave 3 are on the shelves. Just wondering when either Wave 4 or 5 will drop.

Same in WA. Global distro has been uneven it seems. That said, they are listed on Hasbro's AU website so they should be coming... at $45 each...

$45!!! That's way too much. Fingers crossed that most retail stores will price it lower cos I can't justify having to spend that much. With that said, I really do hope that there will be booster packs for pro series just to cut down the cost.

They won’t make boosters for pro too cheap for hasbro they need the beys to be expensive for the money. Also why haven’t I ever seen Shield Kerbeus and Master Devolos in Australia? Just the Wave 3 Dual Packs.

I'm taking econs, so I think my theory is not "Hasbro being cheapskates", maybe supplies fell through or the admins are jerks like at Nintendo. Like we all claim boycott the thing, but there are people outside of the WBO who don't really care. We should really stop expecting so high for Hasbro and stop comparing their gimmicky, casual oriented system to their TT form.

Plus, drop in quality=people likely quit during Covid?+shipping issues. Or likely safety concerns (hence modified shapes and lack of metal, and likely rubber)

Now i'm not trying to sound aggressive or angry here, but

-I don't know what goes on behind the scenes at hasbro, but considering they're a multi-billion dollar company I think it's safe to assume they can spare a bit for some extra paint.
-The quality drop began before covid (looks at metal fury and turbo/rise which all started before covid).
-I haven't really heard any safety concerns with tt beys other than judgement and even then that's a stretch since it was only "don't pick it up when it's spinning" (and may I remind you of pro series?).
-Tell the "people outside the wbo don't care stop comparing" part to 9 year old me who just wanted some anime/tt accurate metal fury beys and all the non wbo users i've seen on discord that really want tt but are forced to stick with hasbro.

For talk on business that isn't how Hasbro works, this point was repeated and addressed months ago and KIO gave a perfect reply to it https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Hasbro-s-Beyblade-Burst-%E2%80%93-Out-in-Canada-and-Australia-international-launch-2017?page=352

Like what will be repeated constantly the modern releases for QD suck compared to Takara Tomy, they suck compared to the previous releases that they have done.

I will never understand purposefully giving low expectations because that is exactly what Hasbro wants you to do, do not expect anything to expect the worst so they can keep getting away with the products that they do.

Drop-in quality had nothing to do with COVID in specifically to the changes done to the beys it was always their attention I don't think Hasbro needs sugar coating, they are clearly appealing to a casual audience with their releases and not really that much to Beyblade fans.

So I'm sure most would be upset when Ultimate Evo Valtryek comes with a blue edge and plastic variable attachment

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - p0l1w4g06 - May. 11, 2022

I guess the only way to get Hasbro to buck up is to buy counterfeits?

Ok Eye've gotta admit, post HS is doo-doo, as at least SS had the correct discs and most tips had the right shape, and HS had good slopes and its fun to see it go around.
Speedstorm and QD, from your vids...*yawns* (Not very good entertainment value either, especially due to their tendency to camp.)

I think we should just give up on competitive Hasbro at this point for QD...though Guilty looks ok as its shape isn't nerfed like Rage was.

So QD Blades
Somewhat Viable: Salvage, Roar, Berserk, Raaath-I mean Wrath
Unviable: Stone, Magma, Gilded, Destruction
(Also I get anxious over ded threads, sorry)

RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - KIO - May. 11, 2022

In Canada it's a bit unfortunate seeing the recent price increases. Hard to justify Hasbro's $19.99CAD Starter Packs and $27.99 Dual Packs at Walmart when I can import Takara Tomy Boosters off Amazon JP for the same or lower prices. Aside from Katana Muramasa, it's been over half a year since I've bought a new Hasbro product.

Time to necrobump this thread.
Guilty has O-Q, if you squint on the box it has Orbit’s design.
As for Astral, it’s base is X(though it’s probably more of HA).
