RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - phantomcellistf - Feb. 12, 2012 (Feb. 12, 2012 7:51 AM)Lynxx Wrote: :o Is it me or does it look like that the BeyWheelz launcher is compatible with MFB tops... Also is IR Control BBP called Tornado Pegasis??? No, IR Spin Control Tornado Pegasus is not BBP. That would mean IR Spin Control Tornado L Drago is L Drago Destroy, so that doesn't make any sense. The two were already announced here: IR Spin Control Wave 3 Edit: I believe that the 4D/Metal Fury anime will be paired with the Beywheelz anime/cartoon to fill up the timeslot, so that means nothing will be skipped. As for the Metal Fury line, I think Hasbro decided to focus more on their own innovations at the Toy Fair this year. Then again, there are 4 full days left before the fair ends, so maybe they'll surprise us. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Feb. 12, 2012 For everyone speculating about Zero G and the anime : stop posting; Zero G is not those BeyWheelz, and go read the Beyblade Anime and Manga Random Thoughts topic, we already discussed the inclusion of BeyWheelz mysteriously by Nelvana into the end of 4D because the episodes were cut in half in Japan. All anime and manga discussions belong in the Beyblade Anime and Manga forum. (Feb. 12, 2012 7:25 AM)Kei Wrote: Yeah, except Round Shell MS's parts were also actually usable/useful in the regular hobby. This is exactly what I thought, except that I do not know Round Shell MS. When I saw all the pictures, I realised that if Hasbro had had to be the creator of Beyblades, this is what it would look like, and I do not like it. At least TAKARA-TOMY will still release actual Beyblades and Hasbro will offer them outside of East Asia too even if there are all those side toylines. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BlacK PhoeniX - Feb. 12, 2012 I'll giv the guy credit he's more enthusiastic than the guy from last year but dear god some of that stuff looks bad lol RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Feb. 12, 2012 I want to play beywheelz, but not quite enough to buy beywheelz. A dilemma, this is most certainly. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Nuzumaki90 - Feb. 12, 2012 (Feb. 12, 2012 8:33 AM)Tris Wrote:(Feb. 12, 2012 8:30 AM)Lynxx Wrote: Wait, did he say new anime??? Could BeyWheelz possibly be TT's Zero G beyblades??? There was "4D" showcasing. They showed off the new Metal Fury prototype packaging, and even the new logo..The Destroyer Dome is also apart of the Metal Fury line. How do we know this? Just look at the packaging. Edit: The only 4D bey there was possibly Spiral Fox. It's shown on the Destroyer Dome box. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - DynaZord - Feb. 12, 2012 While I was at Toys "R" Us, I saw a red BeyStadium similar in shape to that new Leone one (can't remember the name). I didn't see the name of the red one, so there's that... I'm just curious, this was known, correct? Sorry if it is ![]() RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - DynaZord - Feb. 12, 2012 (Feb. 12, 2012 7:48 PM)L-PegasusBlader Wrote: I believe it was this one, right? It's called the "Rip Grind Beystadium".Yeah, that one, haha. Thanks! RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BlackAce - Feb. 12, 2012 So, I bought a Hasbro Rock "Zurafa" today, and found the WB is of a different mold then the Takara Tomy or earlier Hasbro molds. I'll upload some pictures when I can, but from what I can tell, this new mold is basically a JB without the spikes. If this was known already, I apologize, but I thought I had something noteworthy. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Feb. 12, 2012 Hasbro widening the profile of the tips is not news. Long ago I posted a picture of the Poison/Fury pack's tips. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Feb. 13, 2012 There was not really any difference in performance related either. It just strengthens the base of the Bottom, that is all. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - AeroRespawn - Feb. 13, 2012 oh dat turqoise BD145 and Vulcan Horuseus gets a seperate release... might as well give Nightmare Rex a seperate release lol RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Jay Harkins - Feb. 13, 2012 The guy said that they're making a BeyWheels animated series. Hmm.......... This sounds very cheesy, I pray to God that they'll still air 4D/Metal Fury and release the regular 4D Beyblades. Oh Hasbro, if you would follow Takara Tomy instead of making these carpy XTS Beyblades the Beyblade fanbase would stop hating you. That Dome Stadium reminds of the Zero G Attack Type Stadium without the swaying movement. I have hope now that Hasbro won't screw up Zero G in 2013. I have a feeling that the BeyWheels cartoon will air on the Hub instead of Cartoon Network. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Feb. 13, 2012 Harkins, you should always read my posts. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - TheHentist - Feb. 13, 2012 Looks like the new beyblade line by Hasbro is going to be a big fail especially for those that are big fans of the original MFB series. I bet the Zero G line by Takara Tomy is going to win big time! RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Feb. 13, 2012 (Feb. 13, 2012 6:49 AM)hentist Wrote: Looks like the new beyblade line by Hasbro is going to be a big fail especially for those that are big fans of the original MFB series. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Feb. 13, 2012 After watching this video, I really do not know how Hasbro expects parents to be OK with the BeyWheelz ... It seems so easy to just send them up into space. The employee does not even go get all the BeyWheelz he makes fall far away from the chart ... They are made of rubber so they are safer, but rubber hitting a glass on a table or whatever in that sort of trajectory is not really parents-friendly ... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - th!nk - Feb. 13, 2012 The rubber should make them safer in bathtubs, at least. That said, it would be greatly uncharacteristic for a company like Hasbro to release something with that kind of potential for property damage, yes. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - bladerjosh1994 - Feb. 13, 2012 Does anyone else get the feeling that MFB is following the tradition of the old plastic generation? First they both released a four layer system for the manga. Then a Five layer system that was released for the anime. New gimmicks were introduced in the second season of both animes. The third season of the anime has gimmicks that are activated by centrifugal force (though this gimmick is only apparent in a couple of beyblades from the 4D line). Then the next line blows compatibility with the previous toyline (though nothing has yet been revealed on what the beys will look like so the last sentence is just my opinion, you may say my opinion is wrong but I know I'm right and you're wrong). Am I the only one who noticed this trend? RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Feb. 13, 2012 Metal Fight Beyblade is meant for a whole new generation, so it is normal if they repeat things from Bakuten Shoot Beyblade : the kids are not supposed to know about it. YTV/Nelvana are really the only ones who advertised it while acknowledging the previous fans, in the very first commercial for Beyblade: Metal Fusion. And it was stupid, because those kids are now too old to play in Hasbro's tournaments ... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - xSora10 - Feb. 13, 2012 How strange. Hasbro keeps releasing, to me, these stupid side products. Despite the fact that some of them are fun, like the Tornado Battlers, they do take away from the normal toyline, and I go to Toys'R'Us tournaments, and they allow them to be used, and it's quite strange to have to adjust to the other products, because they were not traditionally meant to battle normal MFB beyblades, so I really can not win at times because the combos I make are to battle normal MFBs. If the younger kids begin to use these new products in tournaments, it will really throw off a lot of people, because they would've normally customized Beyblades to battle the normal products. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Feb. 13, 2012 If the people at Toys "R" Us tournaments knew anything about Beyblade, they would know that Hasbro does not even allow their side products in their tournaments. Toys "R" Us events are really anything. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Hazel - Feb. 13, 2012 (Feb. 13, 2012 6:10 PM)Ryu-X Wrote: How strange. No, they don't. Hasbro is still continuously releasing more double-packs, re-releasing parts, making more convenient sets, and so forth. They're still keeping their plans for the main Metal Fury line quiet for the time being, so you cannot make a guess at what they're doing with those, either. Get your facts straight or don't post. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - kbuno50 - Feb. 14, 2012 For beywheelz: What the heck was hasbro thinking? Seriously, they make the super enclosed, ridiculous stadiums, and they make a huge ramp sending wheels all over the house? ![]() If you're gonna make beywheelz like that hasbro, at least make better stadiums then. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Latios300000 - Feb. 14, 2012 (Feb. 14, 2012 4:53 AM)kbuno50 Wrote: For beywheelz: ya but come one the destroyer dome is realy cool i mean full 360 battles sure the probaly wont last long but it still seems cool its kinda like the zero g stadium RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Meow! - Feb. 14, 2012 I think his point was that, if you are gonna let heavy rapid speed tops fly up a ramp, closer to someones eye, then why won't you let less dangerous pockets in stadiums. IMO those rubber beywheels can cause more damage than the regular ones. What it someone is on the other side of the ramp? Then what? In the video one of them went over the cardboard standee. 0.0 |
