That's on top of the fact that the only real difference between Cho-Z Spriggan and Turbo Spryzen is the metal chip in the middle, so the two releases are way too similar already. Venom was an unremarkable and weak base, and though I'd love to see a Hurricane Pro and a Bullet driver (another Vanguard would be more likely imo), I really, really doubt this will ever come to pass without a better base to it. Bushin Ashindra was terrible from a competitive standpoint, so it doesn't fit into the Pro Series releases at all on that basis (where every other layer was either competitively good or at least niche good like Orb Engaard). That's on top of the fact that Hybrid would be more likely on something like that anyways over the Attack focused Ignition', and would sooner come on a Regalia Genesis or Bigbang/Eclipse Genesis layer. What I'm expecting is something more along the lines of Master Evo Devolos Generate, all parts which were usable in some way, and perhaps even some early Sparking like a proper stock Brave Valtryek Evolution' 2A. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - originalzankye - Jul. 07, 2021 By sheer luck I managed to snag this, a new 2-pack with Vex Dragon and Mirage Develos and it has a painted disk, the parts are whatever, the recolors look nice enough. I don't think it's really worth getting but looks cool RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - MagikHorse - Jul. 07, 2021 I like the idea, I hate how late it came in the series and how poorly it was executed. Like, they couldn't have two painted disks, one for each bey? They couldn't put them onto the beys themselves and had to make it an extra part? Why 11 when 11 sorta sucks? Good idea, but needed more thought behind it. Might get it anyways, but would've spoken much higher about it if it made more sense and didn't feel solely like advertising bait. In my humble opinion the red 11 disc is absolutely stupid and meaningless, i mean why Hasbro couldn't release a painted Wheel disc? I think tt never released one, or the usual 00-0- even 7 could also have been welcome additions. But as usual it's just Hasbro being Hasbro, then there are people who are still wondering why it gets "brutally" criticized (if judging the beys honestly without offending anybody can be considered "brutal criticizing"...). It's pretty hard to be excited about a red 11 disc. It's also painted terribly, that flat red screams "CHEAP!!!!!". Oh, just one more thing: am i the only one who's annoyed by the unpainted "chassis" parts on the rings? If they painted all on the layer the overall look would be much better. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - KinkoUsagi - Jul. 09, 2021 I own the product and I actually like the painted 11. It's not cheap looking in person. It's not a metallic finish, but it's a deep red and quite glossy. The bottom is also painted fully (unlike TT's painted discs meant to be used with frames). I welcome the change! Yes, 11 is an underwhelming disc and I would've loved a painted Wheel/Chassis disc or a second painted disc (maybe a gold or teal disc to match Mirage Devolos), but I'm pretty happy with it. The set itself is also pretty cool (with Needle being the low point). For Speedstorm products, is actually pretty decent. This is coming from someone who is extremely critical of Speedstorm. To be honest, i've been criticizing Hasbro for a while now. You're welcome to your opinion, but I stand that it's a step in the right direction. Arguing that the color is flat is a lost cause, the same is true of TT painted disks and nobody complains about that there. The color isn't even that bad, even if it looks way too much like it belongs on Vex Dragon. I believe you're being overly critical to the point of, well, missing the point altogether. Not every release must have top-tier parts. If they did we'd be flooded in 0, 00, 7, and 10. Yes, 11 isn't a performance part. That doesn't make it terrible enough to warrant this, especially given Hasbro's focus on casual fun play over hardcore competition in the main line. And for the record TT does have a gold painted Wheel disk. Painted Wheel wouldn't be unique, and Hasbro's been releasing their Wheel fairly frequently already. Also, there's already a Wheel in this set. A second would be silly. I would 100% agree with you, but knowing Hasbro you can never know what to expect by them. This is the thing that doesn't make me feel confident in Hasbro anymore. They could make one step in the right direction then 5 in the wrong one, of course i'm not a hater or something like that. I've been mainly buying hasbeys for like 2-3 years in a row. My opinions may sound a bit too harsh sometimes but it's not related to any kind of prejudice or will of destroying Hasbro. Hope you guys understand. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - KinkoUsagi - Jul. 10, 2021 Be harsh! It's your opinion on a product you're clearly very invested in. Hasbro certainly deserves it after this year. People, like myself, can disagree, depending on the product, but I think we're all accepting of the reality that Hasbro has made a lot of mistakes over the past three years and it's really damaged the brand/interest in the product. Discussion and different opinions are a good thing. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - MagikHorse - Jul. 11, 2021 (Jul. 10, 2021 3:45 PM)KinkoUsagi Wrote: Discussion and different opinions are a good thing. So is realizing that you shouldn't have anything but good parts shoved down your gob, which was a larger chunk of what I think he was being way too harsh about. There's a time and a place for it, but if all you're doing is whining about why you didn't get exactly what you wanted, well... that's not really constructive, helpful, or a realistic expectation to begin with is it? RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - KinkoUsagi - Jul. 11, 2021 On an unrelated note, the 3A Disc in this set pairs PERFECTLY with Lost Longinus. I put it on the Red version from Random Booster 10 and it's beautiful. Yeah, while just complaining over and over again doesn't really carry any results i believe if it's done with respect and calmness everybody can express an opinion. Popular or unpopular, that's not the point. I realized that part of my comment was too critical, for sure. And i temporarily crossed that borderline between a rant and a constructive criticism. Hasbro has been giving us top tier discs for a good number of releases, no doubt there. Packaging's a bit damaged, but it's here. ![]() And here it is next to my old Eight Spike. I initially thought it was a glare, but they actually made the blue stickers green, and removed "MAX" from them. ![]() Here's Friction-H next to my old Fortress Base. ![]() And here's the bey, fully assembled. ![]() And QR code. ![]() Bonus. Here it is with a Lift Frame. It should've came with one. ![]() OK, for some reason, the app won't scan Draciel F's QR code. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - originalzankye - Jul. 16, 2021 Thanks to ThisGuy8 we managed to find this set in Toys R Us Canada pretty awesome RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - BeybladeManiac0 - Jul. 17, 2021 (Jul. 16, 2021 9:44 PM)originalzankye Wrote: Black Hyperion being lit. RE: Hasbro's Beyblade Burst – Out in Canada and Australia, international launch 2017 - KinkoUsagi - Jul. 17, 2021 Zankye getting stuff I didn't even know existed. I really like the colour of the stadium. The recolours are wacky AF. Idk if that's a good or bad thing. Also, he DRAGGED Hasbro to filth in that review of the Ripfire Force Set. Haha. Wow. We're nearing the end of the worst Hasbro has ever done. Do we have hope for DB?
