And here's the thing, if they choose pro over regular, and it's not compatible, they won't want to buy other stuff. And if they find the WBO and see that people are saying how slingshock tips and stuff are really good, they're going to be dissapointed that they can't mix them with the pro stuff.(Dec. 02, 2020 12:11 AM)bladekid Wrote: Quite the contrary actually. I doubt hasbro is gonna be happy that a ton of people aren't going to buy the new pro series. You can express your distaste but in the end of the day complaining at spinning top toy forums won't get your point across, not buying the product will. However I personally would use a different example instead of compatibility. Lots of people like me don't really see that as a complete reason not to buy it. Something a lot worse would be the teeth wearing. Also to answer your final question, I personally am going to buy these regardless. Fixing the teeth seems like a very easy thing to do so I personally believe even with supporting these waves they can still improve.(Dec. 02, 2020 12:19 AM)6Jupiter5 Wrote: Think about it like this, I’m a new Blader right and I go to the store and see a pro Beyblade and slingshock Beyblade, of course I’m going to pick the pro one. RE: Hasbro pro teeth wear - Shindog - Dec. 06, 2020 I made a quick video documenting the tooth wear. It runs about 11 1/2 minutes. It’s a bit long because it is from unboxing to one tooth starting to show signs of wear straight through. There is no reason to watch it at normal speed if anyone for any reason decides to watch it. I just want to show that this really does happen and hopefully this can be improved upon by Hasbro. https://youtu.be/HrF35eIxCzE Edit: A day or so later I found this after making the teeth wear video, ![]() That piece use to be this: ![]() RE: Hasbro pro teeth wear - originalzankye - Jan. 23, 2021 So iirc superrobotking made a comment before talking about me getting a durometer to test before I was confused but I wanted to check it out, so if you want the simple answer to the pro series problem that has plagued these layers, Hasbro is using a weaker plastic compared to the original Takara Tomy release. Because of that reason they do not have the same durability that TT has. So there's the answer for right now, it's up to hasbro to use stronger materials with making these beys and not taking shortcuts. RE: Hasbro pro teeth wear - Eclipse Force - Jan. 23, 2021 Well we've known that for a bit.
