Making the point of "if they aren't compatible, people will want to buy to get more parts" is possible, but It'd be more of an obligation and less of a "I want to buy this" situation. If you give them the ability to mix it with old stuff, people are going to buy the new ones to see how they work with old stuff and not because they want to rebuild thier competitive collection. If I were in favor of them being not compatible, I would say "why would I buy the other stuff when it's not gonna help the pro stuff?". Now unless the make more potent beys, it won't be worth it to get into this new series a lot of current viable hasbro stuff is better anyway. I can totally see parents not wanting to buy pro because they know they don't work and they don't want to buy all the pro beys. Like many parents didn't want to buy nerf ultra after I explained that they aren't compatible and that they're going to have to buy new darts to use them. A compatible pro series may be a bit of an investment on the parent's part, but if they know their child can mix them with what they have, they'll be fine with spending the extra money for a "special occasion toy". Short sightedly, yes, incompatibility makes sense, but if you look long term, you're going to make so many more people happy and excited to buy pro.

Think about it like this, I’m a new Blader right and I go to the store and see a pro Beyblade and slingshock Beyblade, of course I’m going to pick the pro one. If pro doesn’t have too much beys I see no reason as to buy anything but pro because it’s better.

Interesting find, the pro series works with the fake drivers just fine. I think this might be due to the height of the teeth on the driver being a couple of millimeters off.

Just because the Pro one says Pro doesn't mean yo gotta buy it. What if Slingshock looks for intriguing to you? What if your not looking for a competitive but casual playstyle. Also pther lines having more beys would draw me to them because there is much more.

That's not a good thing lol. Hasbro: the only company that's compatible with fakes. And here's the thing, if they choose pro over regular, and it's not compatible, they won't want to buy other stuff. And if they find the WBO and see that people are saying how slingshock tips and stuff are really good, they're going to be dissapointed that they can't mix them with the pro stuff.

I don't have to buy it, but if I would want to buy it! That's the problem is that if they were compatible, I would buy them! I doubt hasbro is gonna be happy that a ton of people aren't going to buy the new pro series. Are you not going to buy it if they have slopes?

Metal drivers aren’t meant to be put onto regular beys.

I don’t doubt it at all. And keep in mind that Zankye also had this same issue even if it was accidental, it does not make it ok. Also keep in mind, in the nerf community, Hasbro released an elite 2.0 line of blasters that 1. Were solvent welded together so you can’t open them, Blasters, that were super easy to break and had bad quality parts
