About 30 minutes had elapsed since Cloud fell into a seizure, and he was sitting in his bed...

"These evil thoughts I'm getting are destroying my body..." He thought... "I have to find out what they mean, and do something about them..."

Miles, Devin and Bri walked in, concerned...

"Cloud..." Miles started, "We've been thinking, and we might have to move you to the sub-member position..."

"W-What? Why?!"

"We know that something's definitely wrong with you, and we can't have you battling with a risk of hurting yourself..."

"But I really want to battle. I get tired of just sitting..."

"But what about your condition---"

"I don't give a damn about my condition!!! LET ME BATTLE, DAMMIT!!"

Miles was silent. "No...." Miles said sternly...

Cloud got furious. He pulled out a pocket knife he had concealed, hopped out of the bed, and charged at Miles, slashing erratically.

Miles, with swift reflexes, dodged all of the slashes, heading out into the hallway, then he got backed into a wall. Cloud picked him up, and held the knife to his stomach.

"Cloud, no!!" Devin yelled, frozen in disbelief...

After a few seconds, Cloud realized what he was doing. He started at Miles, who was obviously panicked. His eyes widened. He set Miles down, dropped the knife, and slowly stumbled over to his bed, looking down...

Devin quickly picked up the knife and disposed of it.

"You okay, Miles?" Bri asked...

"I'm fine..." he replied, regaining his composure, "I'm gonna check on Cloud..."

"After what he almost did to you?!?!?" Devin asked, shocked...

"Yes. Stay out here..."

Devin and Bri watched as Miles walked back into the room where Cloud was standing...

"Cloud..." he started...

"Miles..." Cloud replied, "I...I'm so sorry...for what I just did...I...had no idea I would go that far... You're...right...I do need a timeout. I just...overreacted...Please...forgive me..."

Cloud fell into Miles' arms, crying... Miles just held onto him and comforted him. "I forgive you, Cloud. It's alright..."

Cloud let go, and laid back down in his bed. "Cloud, you're right too..." Miles started, "about wanting to battle. You really want to, but you just can't because of all of this. I can see it. You have the urge to battle, and this stops you. Hopefully you can get out of here and battle our next opponent... So...I'm not gonna make you the sub, but you're definitely sitting out..."

"Yeah..." Cloud replied. "You guys should head to your match. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine..."

"Okay then..." Miles said, and he walked out...

Once he headed outside, he started walking towards the exit. He stopped and turned to his friends. "What are you guys standing there for? We got a battle to do!"

Devin and Bri nodded and ran after him.

They got into the limo, where the Phillipines team was waiting, and left.

"Is Cloud alright?" one of the bladers said.

"Yeah...." Miles replied. "He's working out some problems. He'll be fine, but he's definitely not battling..."

"Okay then... Well, we've seen you and your beys, now allow us to show you ours! I am Aron Dyl, the captain! I use VariAres D : D. This is Shea Kai, who uses Poison Aries AD145D. Neil Clover uses Rock Virgo 100SF, and our sub, Andrew Rae, uses Dark Wolf DF145FS. Nice to meet you..."

"So, what do we do when DJ asks about our missing member?" Devin asked..."

"Oh, don't worry..." Shea said, "I called him already saying he's not coming, and he told the crowd, too. You're fine..."

The two teams arrived and entered the coliseum. They applauded as the DJ entered...

"Welcome everyone!" he started, "This match today will be between the Phillipines and the US EastSide!"

He paused as the crowd applauded...

"Now.." he resumed, "Since Cloud from the US team is not here, he's sitting out. Phillipines, who's sitting out?"

"We sit out Andrew Rae..." Aron said, and Andrew stepped back...

"Okay, now, who's battling first?"

"Neil Clover..." Aron said, and Aron walked to the stadium...

"I pick...Bri Crawford!" Miles said, and she approached the stadium...

The two got ready, and were prepared for launch...

"Bladers, ready? 3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!"

Bri's L-Drago and Neil's Virgo hit the stadium.

"The first battle is underway!" DJ announced.

L-Drago landed a strong attack on Virgo. Virgo scraped, then regained it's balance, now spinning slightly slower...

"That's his weakness..." She thought, "All I gotta do is make him scrape..."

Bri landed a barrage of attacks, making Neil's Virgo scrape like crazy. Virgo couldn't counter at all, and in no time, L-Drago depleted Virgo's spin and won the match.

The crowd applauded to Bri, and some gave a few good encouraging shouts.

Bri and Neil walked back to their teams. "Next up, Devin VS Shea!!" DJ announced...

Devin and Shea approached the stadium and readied for launch.

3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!

Corona and Aries landed in the stadium and charged at each other. Aries was only able to land two hit on Corona's track before Corona started dodging the rest of the attacks...

"Good strategy..." Shea complimented, "definitely a good strategy, but It's not gonna be that easy! Go Aries!!"

Aries once again charged at Corona. Corona tilted and blocked the charge...

"That's not my only trick, Shea!" Devin remarked. "I can block, too!!!"

"If so, let's see you dodge or block this!! Aries, Wind Storm Assault!!!"

Aries swirled up into the air in a tornado, and charged at Corona. After they made contact, a giant white ball of light formed from the attack, and the light engulfed both of the bladers. Nobody saw them.

"Shea!"

"Devin!"

Suddenly, a bey flew out of the white ball. It was Aries. The crowd watched in surprise as Shea walked out and fell in exhaustion.

Then the crowd was more surprised as Devin drudged out. His friends watched to see what he'd do. He rose his head to look at his teammates. Then he grinned, and rose his hand, holding Corona, the victor.

The crowd broke into a cheer as Devin walked over to his friends and celebrated.

"What a great battle there!" The DJ said "Devin survives the Attack, and wins Round 2!! Now, it's time for the last match, Miles VS Aron!"

Miles and Aron walked up to the stadium and readied their beys...

"Alright bladers! 3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!"

VariAres and Pegasis hit each other, and a large spark flew from the clash.

"This is gonna be a big battle..." Miles thought. "What does Aron plan to do with VariAres?"

Pegasis and VariAres clash once again as the battle started heating up. VariAres was moving quickly, attacking Pegasis.

"Hang in there, Pegasis!" Miles shouted, "We can do this!!"

Then Miles saw something weird. As he hit VariAres, it jumped in the air and, instead of moving quickly like he expected, it became stable, and started withstanding the attacks.

"Huh?" Miles said. "Did you...switch modes or something?"

"Can't tell ya that..." Aron said, smirking.

Miles then watched as VariAres now gained stamina, and stayed very stable.

"How did he?" Miles said. "How do you keep changing these modes??"

"I told you, I'm not giving you the answer!" Aron replied...

Miles was frustrated. He couldn't fight Aron with all of the mode changing Aron was doing.

"I gotta find his weakest point. It's useless if I can't find that first..." Miles thought...

As VariAres attacked, Miles watched to see what happened in the clash. He then noticed that In Attack Mode, VariAres had the most recoil.

"That's it!" Miles thought, "If I hit him at the right point..."

"Go Pegasis!!" Miles shouted, "Wing Starbreaker!!!"

He landed the attack, but VariAres stayed in the stadium...

"Ha!" Aron said, "Looks like I can still stand up to ya, Hahaha!!"

"Urgh..." Miles hung his head. He couldn't believe Aron stood up to the attack, but after a few seconds, he rose his head and ignited his beyspirit.

"Alright, Pegasis!! Let's do this!! Special Move, Omega Star Nova!!!"

Pegasis gained a blue aura, and jumped into the air.

As it sped for VariAres, Aron hesitated. "Uh oh..." He said, "Vari!!!"

Pegasis smashed right on VariAres. Vari slid all the way to the edge, barely hanging on...

"Go, Pegasis! Finish him!!" Miles shouted.

Pegasis delivered one final smash to VariAres, which KO'd it, declaring Miles the winner.

The crowd erupted in a barrage of cheers and shouting.

"Thank you, Pegasis..." Miles said picking up his bey. He then walked over to Aron, who had his head hung.

"I let my country down..." Aron said.

"Don't say that..." Miles replied, "You still have several more chances. You can do it..." He held out his hand. Aron smiled and took his hand. The crowd applauded...

"Give it up for the winners, 3-0, USA EastSide!" DJ announced. "Good luck to you guys on your battle with the Czech Republic!!!"

The crowd applauded once again, and the two teams headed outside, where Cloud was waiting.

"God to see you're okay, Cloud!" Miles said.

"Yeah, I know..." he replied.

They entered the limo and headed for the airport...

"He had fun, guys..." Aron replied. "Good luck in the Czech!"

"Us too..." Miles replied, "and good luck to you guys in Russia!!"

The two teams waved good bye, and boarded their flights...

A few minutes after taking off, Miles received a phone call. It was from Iban Muhammed, the Indian team's captain. He went to the bathroom to escape the crowd.

"Hey Iban!" Miles replied, "S'up?"

"MILES!!" Iban shouted, "IT'S SCARY, SO SCARY! BE CAREFUL!!!"

"Woah, woah, woah!! Calm down, Iban, and just...tell me what happened...

"We just had our battle Russia!!"

"And?"

"It was a horrible sight... Babadan's in the hospital. The Russian team was vicious!!"

"Oh my god!! Is he gonna be okay??"

"Yes, he'll be fine, but I wanted to warn you. Their team is made of evil people!!"

"Wait, Iban. Was there a guy. Black eyes, had something that looked like Basalt 230CS??"

"Yes, he was the captain, but he didn't do too much to me. It was one of their other members!!"

"Who??"

"I don't know. He withheld his name, But he looked like such an evil figure. He had a purple aura, and his bey...ugh...his bey just destroyed Babadan and his bey..."

"What did the bey look like?"

"I couldn't see what all the parts were, but the metal wheel was a Diablo, and the bottom looked 4D...."

"A Diablo Bey with a 4D bottom. Okay Iban, let as many of the other teams as you can know about this. I need to know what the whole bey was..."

"I will. Man, i sure hope you guys will be able to do something when you face them--oh god..."

"What Iban?"

"Russia. They're after me!! AAAHHHHH!" Then, silence.

"Iban?? Iban what's wrong??" Miles asked. No answer...

Miles walked back outside with a shaken expression on his face...

"Miles? Miles, you okay?" Bri asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine..." He replied.

"Okay then...' she replied, and she turned to look out the window.

"A Diablo Bey with a 4D bottom..." Miles thought, "The thought of that is scary, but what bey is it, and what kind of person would use it for such a brutal, devilish thing? And R-Dev said he was on the Russian team!!! What if...no...he couldn't, he told me he changed, he wasn't going to let evil take him over again!!! Unless....no...could he have lied to me? Could it be a coincidence, or is he destroying everyone in his path to kill me and my friends??? Please don't let it be true..."

Oh my God, Ivan. I thought we cured you of your darkness! (It'd be cool if Shawn was there when they fight Russia!)

When the plane landed in Prague, Czech Republic, Miles was still thinking of the phone call he got from Iban.

"I can't believe this..." Miles thought, "Poor Iban. What could've happened to him? I do hope he's alive. But...who is that person who hurt Babadan. I know it might've been a Diablo wheel with a 4D bottom, but who could be wielding that??"

"MILES!!" Devin shouted, "Snap out of it!!"

Miles jolted. "What?"

"We are here..."

"Oh, okay..."

The four got off the plane and walked down the terminal. They found the Czech team in no time.

"Welcome to Prague, US team!" One of the boys said.

All four of them were wearing red shirts, and they all had white wristbands on.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Miles Serge, This is Devin Collins, Cloud Starcutter, and our sub, Bri Crawford!!"

"Nice to meet you all!! I am Jan. This is Jonas, Jasen, and our sub, Roneld. Our last names are quite hard to pronounce, heh..."

"Cool!" Miles replied, "What are your beys?"

"We usually hide ours until the battle..." Jonas replied, "It just adds some tension to both of us to know what each other's beys are when we fight!"

"I like that..." Devin replied. "Well, we should head to the coliseum. It's a night match, and we really don't wanna stay up longer than we need to..."

The Czech team laughed. "That's fine, then! Let's go to the coliseum!!"

They got into the vehicle, and within ten minutes, they arrived. "Wow, I like the checkered White and Red!" Devin said, looking at the coliseum.

"Thank you!" Jan replied, "It's really appreciated..."

The two teams walked out, and were greeted by an array of red, white and blue, the crowd cheering for both sides of this match. The DJ then came out to his podium.

"Halo, citizens and visitors!" He started. "Welcome to our very awaited match between the East Coast US and the Czech Republic!!"

He paused as the crowd cheered, then he resumed. "So captains, who's sitting out this match?"

"We sit out Bri Crawford..." Miles said, and she stepped back.

"We sit out Roneld Rashadavic..." Jan Said, and Roneld stepped back.

"I see..." DJ said. "Now, who's battling first?"

The captains pointed.

"So.." DJ announced, "The first match is...Jasen and Devin!!"

Both players walked to the stadium. "Bladers, present!" DJ commanded.

"Burn Corona 230D..." Devin said, showing it. The crowd let out a few oooh's and ahhhh's of interest.

"My bey is L-Drago Gaurdian S130MB." Jasen said, showing all of its grey and silver....

Both players attached their beys.

"Alright bladers! 3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!"

Corona and L-Drago landed in the stadium, and both started circling slowly.

"The battle has started!" the DJ announced, "So who will make the first move?"

After a few revolutions, L-Drago Charged, where Corona successfully dodged.

Corona attacked, and slightly nicked the edge of L-Drago. Then L-Drago attacked, and landed A direct hit, where Corona retaliated in a strong smash.

The battle was getting the crowd excited. "Wow! Already some good moves! Who's gonna make the move ot change it all?"

"I will!!" Jasen yelled, "Special Move, Soaring Bitestrike!!"

L-Drago then slammed a large attack into Corona. Corona flew up and started flying for the edge.

"NO!!" Devin yelled...

Corona landed on the edge, and spun back into play.

"Corona with a close save!!!" DJ yelled. "What's gonna happen next?"

"Charge L-Drago!!" Jasen yelled.

L-Drago charged at orona, but then Corona jumped, landing on the side of L-Drago and unbalancing it..

"Ah!" Jasen yelled.

"Go, Corona, Special Move! Dazzling Crown!!!" Devin yelled.

Corona jumped and landed right on L-Drago. L-Drago shook like crazy, and all of a sudden ,the bey exploded into its five parts.

The crowd cheered with excitement at the sight. "What a way to end the battle!!" DJ said, "Devin wins by Crash Out!!"

Devin shook Jasen's hand, and walked back to his team.

"So..." DJ announced, "The next match is Cloud VS Jonas!!"

Cloud and Jonas approached the stadium. "Alright..." Cloud thought, "I need to keep my calm. Put that thought behind me..."

"Bladers, Present!!" DJ announced...

"Shinobi Orojya 90WD." Cloud announced. The crowd applauded at the bey. It was the first Zero-G bey they've seen.

"Gravity Perseus AD145WD is my bey!" Jonas announced.

Both got ready for launch...

"Alright bladers! 3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!"

Orojya and Perseus landed in the stadium, and quickly charged. A giant spark flew from the clash.

Cloud's battle would be very intense, and he knew it...

Orojya and Perseus clashed several times, sparks flying with every hit.

"Go, Orojya!!" Cloud yelled.

"Come on, Perseus!!" Jonas yelled...

The battle continued on as Cloud's friends watched.

"Um, Miles? One of the fans behind us has something to say to you..." Devin remarked...

"Uh, ok..." Miles replied, walking to the guy.

"I have some helpful things I've heard about that Jonas person there." the teenage boy said.

"Really? Like what?" Miles asked.

"Well, I've been down here a few times to see him battle. He's really quite impressive. I don't know why he's not captain!"

"What have you seen him do? Do you know some things about him?"

"I know he's competed in six tournaments, placing in all of them, winning three. He's the real deal, because of his bey. His bey has a special ability..."

"What is it?"

"Look at Perseus now..."

Miles looked and was shocked. He noticed that instead of spinning right like it was, it was now spinning left!

"What the? That's a...Dual-spin beyblade! Is that even legal? I've never seen one!"

"It's legal, alright. Aside from VariAres, it's the only dual-spin bey I know..."

"Wow... So Cloud..."

"Has his work cut out for him? Yeah..."

Well, I gotta thank you for the info..." Miles said, shaking the boy's hand, "What's your name?"

"Roderich. Roderich Edelstein..."

"Thank you, Roderich..."

"No problem... I'll be watching the matches. I know quite a bit. Lemme know if you need help with some stuff..."

Miles nodded, and turned to the match, "So, what'd I miss?"

"Cloud's almost done..." Devin said, "He's on the edge..."

Cloud was being pushed to the edge, almost getting KO'd.

"No..." Cloud thought. "I can't lose!! If I'm going down, he's coming with me!!"

"Go Orojya, Special Move! Unforgiving Bind!!"

Orojya's spirit emerged, and the snakes wrapped up Perseus, and at the same time Orojya was KO'd, Perseus was taken along, too! They both KO'd...

The crowd erupted in a large cheer of satisfaction. "Wow! What an interesting battle!!" DJ said, "The battle was well fought by both sides, and ended in a tie. What great effort by both bladers!!"

The crowd applauded as Cloud and Jonas shook hands.

"Good idea there, Cloud..." Jonas remarked. "You caught me off guard, hehe..."

"I know!" Cloud replied, "I didn't expect it to work!"

Cloud then walked back to his team, who was applauding his great effort.

"Alright, now it's time for the last match! Miles and Jan, to the stadium, please!!"

Miles approached, and so did Jan.

"Bladers, present!"

"Bandid Golem DF145BS!" Jan said.

Miles never saw this bey before, and was impressed, but he introduced his bey.

"Metal Face-Heavy Wing Pegasis BD145CS!!!" He yelled, and the crowd cheered.

Both Bladers readied their beys, and were prepared for launch.

3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!

Pegasis and Golem hit the stadium and quickly clashed.

"Now the the battle between captains is now underway!!!" DJ announced.

"Come on, Golem!" Jan shouted, "Charge at him with all your power!!"

"Go, Pegasis!!" Miles said. "Fight hard, fend him off!!"

Pegasis and Golem both fought hard, and never weakened...

"Go Golem!!!" Jan Shouted.

Golem jumped and charged quickly and repeatedly. Pegasis barely dodged every attack.

"Jeez!! How many times can he attack?!?!" Miles thought. "I Can't keep dodging!!!"

Finally, after what felt like hundreds of attacks, Golem hit the floor wrong, and was immediately destabilized.

"Ah, No! Golem!" Jan yelled..

"Let's finish this!" Miles yelled. "Special Move! Wing Starbreaker!!"

Pegasis flew up and struck right on GOlem, and Golem exploded into its five parts.

The crowd applauded and cheered. "What a great battle!" DJ announced. "Miles wins by Crash Out!!"

Miles picked up Pegasis, and shook Jan's hand.

DJ approached Miles with a microphone. "Miles that was indeed a great battle. How did the Czech team do, what are your thoughts on your next opponent, Brazil?"

"I gotta say, the Czech Republic is by far the hardest team we've faced so far! I really didn't expect that tie, and Goelm? Phew, such a head ache! Pegasis isn't made for dodging, and it had a lot of close calls.

As for Brazil, to be honest, they're probably gonna be hard, but definitely not as hard as this team was tonight. Thank you."

The crowd applauded as Miles and his friends left the stadium...

"Good luck to the East Coast US as they go to face Brazil!!"

Both teams left and went to the airport. They shook hands and the four friends departed for Brazil.

As the flight began, Miles received a call. This time, from Aron, the Phillipines Captain. He went to the bathroom and locked the door.

"Aron! You must be calling because you battled Russia! What happened?"

"Oh...my...god, Miles. So horrible. I let Neil battle, and....he's severely injured..."

"Who'd he battle?"

"A guy named Antoine Lenkun. He was brutal!!"

"Did he use a bey with a Diablo Wheel?"

"No, he used Saramanda Saramanda E230MB...

"Oh. Well, that still sounds brutal..."

"A person with Diablo did battle though. He didn't reveal his name..."

"Did you notice anything about the bey?"

"Well, I can confirm the Diablo wheel and 4D bottom. The bottom looked Bluish-purple, and was a very aggressive bottom..."

"Okay, thanks for the help. Oh, one more thing. What did the Captain do to you?"

"He didn't do much, but he won, alright. He whispered something like 'MS, I will get you..."

"Thanks for the help, Aron..."

No problem, and--Oh no, NO! GET AWAY!! AAAHHHH!!"

"Aron?!?! Aron, No!!"

Miles heard several sounds of what sounded like a knife stabbing a person, then silence...

Miles was frozen for a few seconds, then he asked. "Aron???" He said...

Then a Russian voice picked up the phone. "Don't worry about your friend Aron. He's not gonna die. We're just getting a point across..."

"Why are you doing this?!?!?"

"Ha Ha Ha, to show that we are the superior country, and that no weaklings will ever stand in our way. We will defeat every team, one, by one, and in due time, your team, Miles, will fall to us, and I'm sure somebody, would like to have a talk with you, once we win..."

"TELL ME WHO YOU ARE, NOW!!!"

"Heh, that is something for you to find out later... Enjoy your victories while they last, Miles, because it might be the end of your victories...along with one other thing you value...your life.

"Goodbye, Miles, we shall see you at the Finals...." Then the man hung up...

Miles was silent, too shocked to even think.

He walked out, and attempted to head back to his seat. Devin spotted him, and stood up to catch him.

"Woah, Miles! You okay..." He said.

"No..." Miles said, "Horrible...." He then fell to the ground. His blue eyes then turned deep gray, and he started seizing...

When I said teenage, I really was implying him to be 19...

"Somebody give me a first aid kit, Now!!" Devin said to one of the flight attendants. She ran to get one, and came back seconds later. Devin opened it up...

"Yes, there is a shot in here..." Devin said, turning Miles on his side. "Cloud, Bri, hold him still..."

Cloud and Bri did so as Devin injected the shot into Miles' arm.

Within seconds, Miles turned over on his back, his eyes turned back to blue, and he stopped seizing...

"Ow..." Miles said, putting his hand on his head. "What the heck happened?"

"A seizure..." Devin replied...

"A seizure? Are you sure?" Miles asked.

"You were stumbling from the bathroom, then you said No when I asked if you were okay, then you fell and seized. Something wrong with you, buddy?"

Miles got up, silent, then he replied. "I...really think I should keep it to myself..."

"Really? You can tell us, it's okay..." Bri said...

"I just...feel that it's a "personal" issue..." Miles replied...

"Oh, that's fine then..." Devin said. "C'mon guys, we need to rest. We land in Brazil in the morning!!"

So the four got back in their seats and fell asleep.

That morning, around 7am, they landed in Brasilia and got off the plane.

As they walked down the terminal, they spotted the Brazilian team. All of the members were wearing Yellow Shirts with Blue jeans and Green sneakers. The two teams met up and went to the limo.

"Hi guys!" Miles said. "I'm Miles Serge, and my bey MF-H Wing Pegasis BD145CS. This is Devin, who uses Burn Corona 230D, Cloud Starcutter, who uses Shinobi Orojya 90WD, and our sub, Bri Crawford, who uses MF Meteo L-Drago CH120EWD!"

The Brazilian team admired the beys for a little before talking.

"Ola, US team! I am the captain, Pablo Macha! I use MF Leone 145D. This is Emilio Lula. He uses Rock Orso D125B. That's Juan Tsonga. He uses Rock Escolpio T125JB. Lastly, that's Guerrero Perez, and he uses Flame Libra T125ES."

Before they could continue talking, they reached the coliseum. The two teams entered, and were greeted by many Brazilian fans wearing red white and blue, along with their nations yellow and green.

Both teams stood by their flag as the Brazilian Dj came out.

"Hola! It's time for the match between East Coast US and Brazil! Captain's who is Sitting out?"

"We sit out Guerrero Perez..." Pablo said, and Guerrero stood back...

"What about you, US Captain?"

"Hmmmm..." Miles thought. "I'll sit out...Devin Collins!"

Devin stood back.

"Alright then, interesting! Who will battle first?"

The captains pointed...

"Ah, Cloud VS Juan!! Let's start it!!"

As the two approached the stadium, Miles turned to Devin. "You know why I sat you out, right?" He asked...

"Yeah..." Devin replied. "You not only wanna give them some play time, but you wanna see them prove themselves, since I've done well..."

Miles nodded and turned back. Cloud and Juan were ready for launch.

"Alright bladers, let's go! 3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!"

Cloud's Orojya and Juan's Escolpio landed in the stadium, getting the first match underway.

"Attack, Escolpio!" Juan Commanded.

Escolpio then went into trying to attack Orojya. Orojya slid around by some of the hits, but withstood them, nonetheless... When Escolpio stopped, Orojya attacked, but Escolpio wouldn't budge a bit.

"Come on, Orojya! Shake him loose!" Cloud commanded.

Orojya started crashing on all sides. Escolpio moved with the attacks, but not as much as their other opponents...

"How is Juan's bey standing up to so many hits? He's not budging at all!" Miles thought, looking from the sidelines. "Hmmm...." Miles took a good look at Escolpio, then noticed the performance tip. "That tip is called a Jog Ball, but what's its function?" he thought. Observing the tip, he noticed the bumpy rough bottom was adding grip, and keeping it in place...

"Hehe... So, whatcha gonna do, Cloud?" Juan jokingly remarked...

"Well, that's not working..." Cloud said to himself. "Let's do this! Orojya, Air attack!"

Orojya started jumping onto the top of Orojya, but nothing was happening...

"Haha! Escolpio, Special Move! Toxic Stinger!!!" Juan commanded.

With only a little bit of space, Orojya dodged the One Hit KO Special Move. Orojya then started jumping on the sides of Escolpio, making the Rock wheel grind the ground.

"Ah!!" Juan said. "Escolpio!"

"Alright, let's do this!! Special Move, Orojya Spear!!" Cloud yelled.

Orojya jumped, the spirit assumed the spear shape, and Orojya pierced right into Escolpio, KO-ing it.

The crowd applauded and cheered at the amazing first match. "Our first round winner is Cloud! Congratulations!"

Cloud ran to his team, happy for his win...

"So..." DJ said, "Our next match is between Bri and Emilio!!"

Bri held onto L-Drago as she approached the stadium. She attached it to her launcher, while Emilio attached his Orso...

"Alright bladers, 3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!"

L-Drago and Orso landed in the stadium. L-Drago quickly went into its special strategy. It dodged Orso's attacks, and stole its spin with each miss...

"Huh?" Emilio said, Intrigued, "How do you do that??"

"That's for me to know, and you to find out!" Bri replied...

After several misses, Orso was almost out of spin.

"Oh my, folks! Looks like Bri might have Emilio dome in!" DJ announced.

The crowd watched to see the finish. "I can't lose yet!!" Emilio yelled, "Special Move, Bear Claw Slash!!!"

Oros started charging at L-Drago, who was somehow stuck.

"Uh oh, what a change in momentum! If EMilio's Orso lands this hit, it's all over!"

"Oh no! What should I do???" Bri thought. "Hmmmm...I dunno if it'll work, but I should try!"

L-Drago then leaned, and the aggressive EWD tip slid L-Drago out of the way, causing Orso to slam into the wall. L-Drago stole the last bit of spin it had left to win the match. The crowd jumped up and down in excitement of the brilliant finish.

"Bri wins the second round by a brilliant Outspin!!" DJ announced, "Now, it's time! Miles and Pablo, to the stadium!!!

Miles smiled at Bri as he walked to the stadium. He attached his Pegasis, and Pablo attached his Leone.

"Alright bladers, let's go! 3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!!!"

Pegasis and Leone landed in the stadium and stood still.

Who would make the first move?

Leone was the first one to make a move. Leone quickly charged. Pegasis dodged and countered. Leone once again tried to strike, but missed and was once again countered.

"Hm..." Pablo said. "You're fast for a Defense type..."

"So are you..." Miles replied...

"Well, let's see you dodge this! Special Move! Attack in the Wild!!!" Pablo yelled.

Leone quickly started moving fast, chasing Pegasis. Pegasis tried evading and shaking Leone off, but Leone wouldn't stop chasing, and was getting closer no matter how fast Pegasis was...

"I can't let him hit me! He has too much power!!!" Miles thought quickly, "But...he's too fast. How can I possibly escape him??"

He then noticed Wing flash a light blue quickly...

"Huh? Must be a new special move!!" Miles thought. "Let's do It!!"

"Go Pegasis, Special Move, Heavenly Shield!!!" he yelled.

Pegasis stopped, and tilted, blocking Leone's attack. The clash was so strong that the stadium cracked a little. Pegasis stayed rooted, while the clash sent the feather-light Leone out of the stadium.

The crowd jumped up and down in unison to show their satisfaction. Miles waved to the crowd as they cheered.

"Miles seals it! 3-0, the US win over Brazil!!!" DJ yelled....

"Congrats, Miles..." Pablo said. "Good match. Now, Let's get you on your flight..."

The two teams shook hands and waved to the crowd as they left.

"Good luck to the East Coast US team as they leave to face the Samoans!! Our Brazilian team will face Russia!!"

The two teams got into the limo and left for the airport. They shook hands again and departed for their separate flights....

Almost done with their flight, while Bri and Devin were napping, Cloud asked Miles a question...

"Miles, I think there's something wrong. Would you be willing to tell me what made you faint on our last flight?"

"Not really. As I said, it's personal..." Miles replied...

"But I wanna help you!"

"NO!"

"Why no--"

"Dammit Cloud, I said NO..."

"Give me a reason, besides it being personal, why you shouldn't tell us..."

Miles sighed, and gave in. "Fine, you win..." he said, but I don't wanna say it right here. Let's go to the back of the plane..."

The two went to the back, where nobody was at.

"Okay, Cloud...*gulp*...I think....I think, Russia is trying to injure and destroy all of the countries... There's this guy who's using a Diablo bey with a 4D bottom who's hurting them. I know that India and the Phillipines fell, and Brazil's next!! R-Dev's on that team, but for some reason, he's been having mercy on the captains, only to have them ambushed by the other members!! It's horrible, Cloud, horrible..."

Cloud was silent, and went into another flashback. He was standing. He saw the Diablo bey. He saw R-Dev laughing. both were sinister, but the last sight was the worst.

It was of a random team member, one they had not yet seen, holding a US flag as well, and a sillouette of a shadowy figure, and the shadowy figure had a knife, stabbing the member to death...

He then snapped out of his flashback. "Miles!" Cloud said, "I think my flashbacks and the attacking's are connected! I keep seeing Russia and death and hearing laughter...

This time...oh god...I saw...I saw another American competitor...he...got stabbed...to death... W-what do you think this means??"

Miles thought, then the horrible thought came to his mind. "I think it means...there's another US team...and if your flashback is correct, somebody on that team is not gonna be alive by the time this is all over with..."

The two stared at each other, silent, and scared of the possibilities...
