An update for the Fusion Fighters: our members have changed to Deikailo, Cyber Blader, Guardian Odin, and The Problem.
[North East, USA] Team Tournament - Deikailo - Jul. 27, 2011
Do not vote unless you are a part of a team. Your vote will be ignored otherwise. Please vote for each location you can travel to if you can go to more than one.
Since there is no approved team tournament format, we can at least have a team-friendly block round robin event. Ideally, it will run as such:
There will be four blocks with a maximum of 8 players per block. Since most teams have 4 members, there will be one member from each team per block. We will run each block individually so each team can help their fellow teammates select combos during stalling clause, give advice, etc. Blocks will NOT be randomized, but rather, team leaders will discuss which of their members belong in each block.
For example, the defense specialist in the Fusion Fighters is Guardian Odin so it would be advantageous for me to put him in the bracket that has attackers.
Although, we have to determine a location for this event that will maximize attendance. I do have a car and I'm more than willing to help with travel. Please, please, PLEASE when you are voting for a location, vote based on where you can travel, not just your base location. If everyone voted for their home turf, we wouldn't reach a conclusion.
Bear in mind, I've selected locations based on public transit and distance between known teams.
