RE: Wolf D125B - Bey Brad - Sep. 16, 2008

The Face screws into the cylinder in the Track.

Yeah it will add a another layer of strategie to the game.
Speaking of faces, anyone else think Wolf's face looks realy cool?

RE: Wolf D125B - Bey Brad - Sep. 16, 2008

Wolf's Face is the only one I like so far.

Better shots of the Parts of Wolf and some neat pictures of Aries

RE: Wolf D125B - Blitz - Sep. 16, 2008

Thats a good find shows it in a lot more detail this time ^^ Wolf is looking pretty kool
& I only really like Wolf & Pegasus' 'Faces' so far

RE: Wolf D125B - Maz - Sep. 16, 2008

I was under the assumption that the ring was gonna be metal but it doesent look like it.
Thanks for pointing out the video!
I screencaped the video where they show wolfs track for anyone who does not want to watch it.

RE: Wolf D125B - Sasch - Sep. 16, 2008

I think wolf's track would not disallow a possible left-spin-launcher to click on the higher notches, like the initial 3 (4? I haven't held a 90 track yet) do because of their little edgy things on their that actually add nothing to the track except for building a wall that wouldn't let a launcher come to the bigger notches.

Yes, I do not wanna give up the hope that it's not gonna end up totally stupid.

RE: Wolf D125B - Evan - Sep. 16, 2008

I love Aries face..just gotta say ^^

I dunno what you're talking about...

I'm going to assume you were talking about a possible Left-Spin Shooter that attaches to these:

In which case, I would say I doubt they'd do something like that, I don't think anyone suggested this. I mentioned a L-Spin Shooter maybe connecting to a Track, but it was just an idea I threw out there. :-P

Also, the 90 Track does not have these grooves.

RE: Wolf D125B - Kei - Sep. 17, 2008

I don't understand how that could work. Simply because of the little handles sticking out of each track at the top.

I, at first, figured that the little handles would be removed in a "L-Spin Track", but that would mean that the Spin Direction would be dependent on the type of Track you had, which is too different from the current system. :\

RE: Wolf D125B - Bey Brad - Sep. 17, 2008

It won't. Either they'll fit on the Wheel as it is or they simply won't fit at all.

Right.

Now, back on topic.

Would the Wolf Wheel in right-spin be good for defense, or simply not very good at all? I've always been confused about ARs like the Dragoon series, and if they would be good for defense at all in right-spin.

It's the reverse of a compact combo. For those who remember, Trypio was an example of this in the extreme. The added benefit is that because of the increased balance, this track will have considerably more defense than other ones, as it conserves angular momentum much more efficiently. It will recover from hits faster, with less lateral movement. I'll be eagre to test this puppy out.

While I agree, all of that is true, I don't really think it will be such a big difference. I doo think it will have for defense

Had anyone given thought that this ring would dampen upper attacks from below the wheel or smash from beside?
ie bull or pegasis would not as easily score one of those devestating axis hits.
ooooo "Axis hit" lol

A possibility too is the ring will contact stadium first before certain wheels. That can be an advantage.

I can see the ring putting a damper on Upper Attack, though I can see the ring protecting it the most from "Axis Hits" more than defending against Upper.

Your other point is valid, too: it could very well be useful for Zombie-type combos, if it's wide enough.

RE: BB-11 Wolf D125B - Guardian Odin - Sep. 17, 2008

I don't think that a metal Face will compromise a plastic Track. The truth is that the Face and Track take very little stress as it is, and even if they did, I don't think this would cause a problem. It may if the ABS was threaded with a machine screw thread. The threads could then strip. These threads are really thick, though.

If we compare data from
http://homepage3.nifty.com/hind/sub10-3.htm
with
http://gimpo.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/toy/1219599075/198
(Pegasis 35
Bull 35
Leone 37
Sagittario 34
Wolf 34)

Wolf's Wheel seems to weigh as much as Sagittario's ... Strangely. And it is in Right spin.

That's odd. Wolf's Wheel looked rather thick and intimidating.

I almost imagine it weighing 44g instead.

As soon as I have further information on this, I will confirm/infirm.

^It's been updated to include Wolf. The track and bottom look pretty sick. Oh and the Wheel is the same weight as Pegasus and Bull 36g.

RE: BB-11 Wolf D125B - Bey Brad - Sep. 21, 2008

I really want to try Pegasis D125D.

RE: BB-11 Wolf D125B - Kuznetsov - Sep. 27, 2008

I want to try Leo D125D for the hell of it.

Should be getting Starter Wolf soon, (I don't see the point of getting the Booster) I'll try uploading a video or provide pictures unless there are adequate ones before then.

RE: BB-11 Wolf D125B - Aikemi - Sep. 27, 2008
