The school just uses a program to randomly select a set amount of students out of the ones who applied to get in; it obviously doesn't take into account a students personal needs. Right now I'm on a waiting list. So with any luck, some people will drop out or change their classes. I have spoken with a number of people on the staff though, and they just said they have to follow by what the computer does. They can't jump me to the front of the waiting list or drop me into the class just because I would benefit greatly from taking it. ![]() RE: School Schedules - Rockblade - Aug. 27, 2008 (Aug. 27, 2008 4:33 AM)Mr. Toto Wrote: I'll be taking a Japanese course, Biology 2, Bio Lab, Intro to Philosophy, and an English course this semester. I may take a break form college depending on how my semester goes. RE: School Schedules - Ultra - Mar. 17, 2011 Reviving this, kill me if you want since I realize it's quite old. I'm in the upper sixth which is the same as the last year of high school for you guys in the US. It's normal to take 3 subjects here in the upper sixth although I currently only take two subjects since I dropped one recently. Each class is split in two sides for the topic. Also I go to a boarding school so I school on saturday too. Currently I only have 8 lessons a week with the rest of the periods for work to be done in your room. The days lessons start from 8:50 and end at 3:00 with half days ending at 12:45 on Wednesdays and Saturdays and lessons last a hour The classes you guys have seem a lot more complicated to than mine are although that may be cause some of you are in Colleges. |
