To be fair, that video wasn't a Perfect Gear dedicated video. The Ultimate Fusion DX Set videos were split in two, and during part 1, they specified in the video that H Gear and the Divine Belial in the set would be covered in a separate video within a week.
Surprise, it's VS Gear. What an odd set...we get get 1 new Bey and VS Gear but it's bundled with Ultimate Valkyrie with an arguably worse stock.

Where do I even begin with this?
Let's start with the small stuff. The name is "Burst Spriggan"... really... If you thought Chain Kerbeus or Wind Knight were lazy names, well they still are, but Burst Spriggan takes it to a whole new level. I know it's for that "Burst Ultimate" match up with Ultimate Valkyrie, and TT needs to STOP with this kind of naming quirk. They did it for Super and King for the "Superking" name, it's getting silly.
Now onto the reddest of red flags, and not because it's Spriggan... Fusion' and Accel'. I'll accept that Ultimate Valkyrie's true stock part is Variable' and not Accel' but Fusion' for Spriggan? Why though? Apart from forced nostalgia, there's no reason to pick the worst balance type driver ever. It's not even a good nostalgia callback because unlike Ultimate, Burst does not resemble S1 in any way. Like with Ultimate Valkyrie, Chain Kerbeus and Wind Knight, I refuse to acknowledge their driver choice and just put my own. The only maybe plus side is that A' for Ultimate hopefully means less scraping.
Wing' and Spread' is another nostalgia callback but at least they're gonna be new parts, and at least it'll be up to date. Wing' I imagine will just be another Karma or Legacy, hopefully I'm wrong. Spread' could be good though we'll have to see.
I think the Burst blade will be a better Astral and one of the only redeeming parts of this set.

I get why they did it cause cause thats literrally their first stock combo but dang. Anyway so apprently the Name is Burst Spriggan i see what they did their Burst Spriggan + Ultimate Valkyrie= Burst Ultimate pretty Cool not bother by the names at this point. Anyway dont care about the drivers cause lets say it their trash atleast give me merge', metal, high metal whatever i would've taking unite instead thats more of what the nostalgic combo should come of of i'm honest or make a driver a driver that represent all its previous drivers cause when i think of spriggan i think of Mode change driver just saying , but i'm curious if their going to buff the disc somehow new armor for spriggan 8. I'm slapping over and quattro' on it either way unless that spread is super beef up it might be good. At the end only interested an the spriggan layer and armor plus the gear

My full thoughts on the new Spriggan Set
Spriggan: I mean it looks cool, there is no denying that but the faults lie with its Driver choice, WHY FUSION?! Why would you take one of the worst balance type drivers and put it on the last evolution of a popular bey like Spriggan? If it were up to me, i would've literally just chosen Quattro' or any other Spriggan driver over Fusion'. Spread' is fine i suppose, it's weird but its a new disk so whatever.. 8's a new armor so i can't complain about that. The name Burst Spriggan is uh.. interesting to say the least.
Valkyrie: Man, what i said about Valkyrie in the Speculation thread really just came back and sucker-punched me in the crotch, it really is just the same as Stock Ultimate Valkyrie in terms of colors but the core is just a clear plastic now and that's just it, comes with 9 Armor which i suppose is fine. Wing' and Accel' as the parts... i mean i guess i understand Wing' but Accel'? Why? Just why? I guess this pretty much means we're never gonna get a Blue Ultimate Reboot' recolor because that would've been pretty cool to see and would've been more desirable than the likes of Accel' which isn't a good driver.
VS-Gear: Not really a clear picture on it but it is supposed to be a Driver gear so i guess that's cool.
Overall/Final Thoughts: I'm probably going to just skip this set, i don't really see any worth in this set aside from maybe the Burst Blade if it's good but other than that, i don't really see any reason to buy the set. Ultimate is a great attack blade but it's actually rather easy to obtain so i would rather just stick with buying the Ultimate Valkyrie Booster or try my luck with that Demon King RB if i wanted an Ultimate Blade. Tbh, a Spriggan evolution was really not even needed to begin with and we could've gotten literally anything else over this, Astral was good enough, to add on to this, Fusion' and Accel' are miserable parts to include in such a hyped set and in 2022 alone, these are literally SINGLE LAYER DRIVERS!! if they wanted to go the Reused route then they could've given us another Unite' and a Valkyrie colored Ultimate Reboot', Hard pass on this set

I have admit, I like it. First of all, Burst Spriggan is very cool, the parts are a nod to the first Spriggan. I freaking knew we are getting a new Valkyrie, while the layer is the same, it has new parts, so in a way, it's fine to me. As long as it doesn't scrapes like the last one. Anyway, can't go wrong with a Valkyrie and Spriggan pack. This is first day purchase for me.

Spread' could be very interesting based on how Wing' looks, so we will see I guess. Not excited by the new layer but maybe it ends up being cracked, looks like a mix of lord and legend to me though and I don't feel either of them are that great. Wing' I'm not sure will amount to much and the driver choice and apparently lack of recolour on Ultimate and Valkyrie2 is pretty miserable. I'll probably buy it but not very enthusiastically.

Unfortunately, I don't think it is a joke. They've been so desperate for a new Valkyrie entirely because the stock combo has a tendency to scrape, that they'll take literally anything else (rather than just... changing out the driver for Evolution or similar), and proclaim that "I was right! We got a new Valkyrie! Suck it n00bs!" even though it's about as "new" as a filler beyblade in a random booster or literally any other set.
I guess we should be celebrating the "new" Belial that just came out with Helios and Hyperion? Or the "new" Phoenix that came in the Achilles set? Actually, now that I think about it, didn't we get a "new" Valkyrie back in February, in B-195? Maybe they should be celebrating that release and using it instead of Ultimate Valkyrie.

It didn’t have to be this way. The drivers’ names could simply be expanded on. Accel -> Accel’ could’ve been Accel -> Accelerate. Fusion -> Fusion’ coulda been a fusion to make Fuse. If they were more creative or less lazy, there could have been new drivers.

Definitely agreed. We really didn't need Accel' and Fusion' again. An Expansion would've been really cool and maybe Accel could've been a Rubber Flat Driver, we need more Rubber Flat Drivers.

This whole nostalgia bait thing that Beyblade has being doing has really gotten old. Giving us Accel' and Fusion' in 2022 is laughable, these were the first drivers to showcase the attack and balance types. It'd be nice to make new drivers to show how far we've come and not just reuse the oldest possible things for "nostalgia" (laziness). It's unfortunate because I don't even think this set is too bad outside of the drivers. The disc names are weird but they're still new parts, and everything else is fine enough. Sucks to see the drivers bring this set down so much because it could have been pretty good otherwise.

Agreed. It boggles the mind that they would even half-way it like this... I would've taken Merge' and Ultimate Reboot'. Giving us Accel' and Fusion' is laughable.

So this seems like a pretty fun set: Valkyrie and Spriggan Releases for VS. Overall i like the set but i do have some gripes with it as well. I like how the new Spriggan looks, it looks pretty nice and clean and i feel like it does a good job at combining all the Spriggans together to make the final Evolution. Same with Valkyrie how despite the original was supposed to be a combination of all the originals i like how they still had one more addition in the form of wing dash. I overall like how both Burst and Ultimate (BU) both have combos that are similar to their very first releases its a pretty fun idea. But thats also where the gripes come in, that its trying to be too much like the original combos like for the disk at least they made Updated versions of Spread and Wing in the forms of S’ and W’ but the drivers are just…..interesting….why not anything else? Accel dash and Fusion dash? Those drivers might have better burst resistance now but the drivers themselves aren't the best at this point in time. If they could make Evolved versions of Wing and Spread then they could have made evolved versions of Accel and Fusion as well? They could have definitely done better with the drivers and still get the same point across.
