RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - OwnageDerp - Jan. 20, 2015 Pardon the interruption, my dad got his surgery done this morning, and it was a success. The only downsides are that my dad can't really walk around, he can't drive for the next 24 hours, and he's dealing with a horrible pain that will last about a month. Thank you for the prayers, now lets hope for a speedy recovery. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Hato - Jan. 20, 2015 I am so happy for him! Hope he will have a quick recovery @[OwnageDerp] RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Jinbee - Jan. 20, 2015 Well, let's hope he can endure it, I pray that it gets better. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - OwnageDerp - Jan. 20, 2015 He could definitely endure it, but not always. Imagine getting hammered and cut (at the same time) in the testicular area, that's the pain my dad is feeling. Those aren't my words, my dad told me to say the "hammered and cut" part. Sounds very painful, and so far my dad hasn't blacked out, that shows how strong he is about this. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Jinbee - Jan. 21, 2015 So there's no way to numb this? Well, hope it ends soon. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Wizard - Jan. 22, 2015 I took a drug test today for my new job, and it had a bit of a funny result (I think this is probably appropriate to post here despite the risky topic). The drug test was a urine sample and they do it in the health center on their grounds using a dip strip test. I have never taken any kind of illegal drugs in my life, let's just make that clear, but the test came back saying I had meth in my system. Every night before bed I take two aspirin and two folic acid pills along with one zantac to fight the stomach aches I get from the aspirin (This is all prescribed by a doctor). I didn't know this, but it turns out that the main ingredient of the zantac trips drug tests into reading a false positive for meth amphetamine. Luckily they're sending my urine sample to a lab to be tested with my medication in mind. Glad to know I still have a shot at the job, haha. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - OwnageDerp - Jan. 23, 2015 I guess I'll ask the techies here: I'm trying to capture footage on my Wii U, but I need a capture card. I have the card in mind, but are there other alternates that won't cost me $30? I have the card in mind, but are there other alternates that won't cost me $30? For a good capture, the card is your best bet. I would actually advice spending a little more. I have the card in mind, but are there other alternates that won't cost me $30? Then a fundraiser is imminent, no way in hell I'm blowing $150 for a device that will capture me raging hard. The most I'll go would be $50. I'm not looking for HDMI fiber optic 60FPS material, I just need something simple and reputable. Thanks for the input though. A nice capture card is generally only about $60. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - [)ragon - Jan. 23, 2015 Just had wisdom teeth surgery; sitting on the couch with ice packs tied to the sides of my head, haha. Guess I'd better get used to eating jell-o and mashed potatoes. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - MissingNo. - Jan. 24, 2015 Jell-O and mashed potatoes are delicious together, you should try it ![]() RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Shido-kun - Jan. 24, 2015 (Jan. 24, 2015 1:45 PM)|BeyBouncer| Wrote: Jell-O and mashed potatoes are delicious together, you should try it They are good on their own,but not together...I'd go with just mashed potatoes in this case :p RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - MissingNo. - Jan. 24, 2015 Or mashed potatoe flavoured Jell-O ? XD RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - DefStamina88 - Jan. 24, 2015 I'm over mashed potatoes.Baked potato with cheese and bacon bits is where it's at *Dustin Lynch playing in the background* RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - [)ragon - Jan. 24, 2015 (Jan. 24, 2015 2:57 PM)DefStamina88 Wrote: I'm over mashed potatoes.Baked potato with cheese and bacon bits is where it's at *Dustin Lynch playing in the background* That would be awesome... if I could chew it, haha. I know it's solid, but you could kind of mush it against to roof of your mouth with your tongue. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - MissingNo. - Jan. 26, 2015 Or just blend it. ![]() RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - OwnageDerp - Jan. 26, 2015 Blend everything, and drink it and youll be fine. Kinda disgusting, actually. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Jan. 26, 2015 (Jan. 23, 2015 11:07 PM)TheBlackDragon Wrote: Just had wisdom teeth surgery; sitting on the couch with ice packs tied to the sides of my head, haha. Smoothies are very healthy and I'm sure that'll be easy to get down. I'm surprised my wisdom teeth aren't out yet. They bother me occasionally but I haven't been to the dentist in such a long time. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - [)ragon - Jan. 27, 2015 I've been subsisting almost solely on pudding cups and nutrition shakes (some potatoes, but I haven't actually had any jell-o yet). Blending stuff together kinda grosses me out; my dad got this thing for Christmas that will blend just about anything edible together and turn it into a beverage, and my mom wants me to eat... er, drink... a veggie smoothie. I might try it, if I wasn't sure it was going to come right back up, haha. Tri: Mine were coming in like literally horizontally. I actually only got the bottom ones out, so if I'm unlucky, I'll have to do the whole thing over again for the top ones (the doctor opted to wait, since they're underdeveloped and he thinks they might actually grow in straight). RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Jan. 27, 2015 Green smoothies are actually very good in my opinion. Celery, bananas, starberries, pomegranate, and orange juice = <3. You barely taste the celery but even if you did, I think it's good anyways ![]() RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - sarabscientist - Jan. 29, 2015 (Jan. 27, 2015 4:28 AM)TheBlackDragon Wrote: Mine were coming in like literally horizontally. Mine were the same way, all four were growing in horizontally and impacting the neighbouring teeth. So they took them all out at once. Weren't really bothering or hurting, just so they don't damage the other teeth. Make sure to stay away from straws and other things that need suctioning. Because it will dislodge the coagulated blood and flesh that is closing up over the wounds. It's not as bad as people say it is (or I just have a really high pain tolerance). Soups and ice cream is the way to go ![]() I started eating normally after a week, with caution. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - OwnageDerp - Jan. 29, 2015 Speaking of dental things, this girl (there is no I wanna gurlfriend here, I want to be a kid) had an entire tooth removed, and they put the half-asleep gas, and she said it was one of the most excruciating pains ever, and she has to eat blended foods. And it's a wonder I even understood what she said, it sounded like she had an entire hand in her mouth, muffled speech. RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - LMAO - Jan. 30, 2015 I had 1 of mine removed during the break, I ate a ton of pudding, jell-o, and antibiotics, lmao. Seriously, it's one of the weirdest pains you'll ever experience, my next one is scheduled to be pulled out during Spring Break ![]() |
