After defeating the grotesqueries, they are both killed by a fighter pilot that shoots them out of the sky. This ending leads to NIER. Source Nier takes place more than 1000 years in the future, just as Drakengard 2's was like 20 years into the future. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Wizard - Mar. 20, 2011 I think that instead of purchasing an NES, I'm probably gonna save up for a SNES. Besides, why buy all the NES mario games when I can get them all on one cartridge for SNES with better graphics? And the Lost Levels! I can't wait to get my birthday money now. Why does my birthday ave to be in august? I guess I'm gonna have to get a summer job... Oh, and if you don't replace the pin connector, it blinks!! XD You're right Nano! I should buy an NES instead! ...Wait! What...?(Mar. 20, 2011 7:38 PM)Bey-Heart Wrote: I think that instead of purchasing an NES, I'm probably gonna save up for a SNES. Plus the Mario games comes with Duck Hunter :p Lol. I would rather have a Super Nintendo, though. Besides, I already have that Mario game. I just need to get it signed by Shigeru Miyamoto for it to be complete! XD Speaking of which, I gotta get Super Mario Brothers Deluxe for GameBoy Color. It's the GameBoy Color port of the original Mario... RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Boxy ID - Mar. 21, 2011 Im currently on disc 2 of FF8 and it is awesome. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Wizard - Mar. 22, 2011 I'm having a tough time deciding on what I want to do with my money when I get it this summer. Right now I'm thinkin either Super Nintendo, or SEGA Dreamcast. But I'm probably just gonna get the Dreamcast since it is cheaper, and me and Nano would be able to play against each other in Quake 3. XD What do you guys think? RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Glad Hatter - Mar. 22, 2011 Those are good collectors items but would get a nintendo 3DS instead. Adding to the fact that they re-formatted Ocarina of time for it. Adding to the fact that they re-formatted Ocarina of time for it.I don't get that much money... I usually get around $50. This is birthday money I'm talking about here. Plus whatever money I can scrape up over summer. I can only afford to get either a Super Nintendo with like 1 or 2 games. Or, a Dreamcast with a Visul Memory Unit, and like 1 or 2 games. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - To - Mar. 22, 2011 I'd buy a Pocketstation but I haven't a clue what I'd use it for. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Wizard - Mar. 22, 2011 (Mar. 22, 2011 1:52 AM)To Wrote: I'd buy a Pocketstation but I haven't a clue what I'd use it for.Lol. I thought they didn't release any games for that? I was checking around online. I can get a Dreamcast copy of Sonic Adventure, brand new for $30. Chu Chu Rocket for $7, Quake 3 for $9, Etc. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - To - Mar. 22, 2011 Actually, a bunch of games support the Pocketstation, and it did have some original titles. In fact, some of the Pocketstation compatible titles actually still have the compatibility in English releases even though the Pocketstation was never released outside of Japan. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Nano - Mar. 22, 2011 Bey-Heart I might be able to connect my Dreamcast to the internet. I would need to download Quake afterwards though. @To I'd buy it just for the collectiblity of it :p RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Wizard - Mar. 22, 2011 Anybody here a Phantasy Star Online fan? I'm thinking about getting Phantasy Star Online III C.A.R.D. Revolution, for Gamecube. But I'm wondering, is the game any good? And is it any fun offline? Also, does online play for this game cost money? Lol. I know some websites where I can find people to play online with, if I have to. I'm wondering because I found a place near me where I can get a copy, but I'm wondering if it's worth it? RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Ultimate - Mar. 23, 2011 Has anybody played Gift for the PS2. It is in my eyes the worst game ever made for the PS2. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Dude - Mar. 23, 2011 I'm a little disappointed in Namco Bandai's selling ideas. 1. Let's make a strange website with weird changing images. 2. Announce a game everyone wanted to see dubbed. 3. Don't talk about it later on for months. The marketing guy should be fired. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - To - Mar. 23, 2011 (Mar. 15, 2011 2:11 AM)SK Wrote: does mgs:rising have a release date yet? im not really into games anymore (i just cant bring myself to spend money on them when i can spend that same money on clothes lol), so this is all im looking forward to this year (along with fifa 2012 of course lol) Rising won't be out this year. We already knew Peace Walker's release date by this time last year, and we had much larger blow outs of information on that game. Rising's only had two tech demos, the engine demo (E3 2009), and the watermelon chop chop (E3 2010) demo. Kojima's apparently going to announce 2 games at E3. I assume these are going to be games he's working on, and not just overall KojiPro titles like Rising. (Mar. 23, 2011 1:29 AM)Dude Wrote: I'm a little disappointed in Namco Bandai's selling ideas. Namco Bandai is a pretty terrible publisher overall. They expect games to sell one million and don't spend a dollar on TV advertising. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - To - Mar. 24, 2011 Most likely a double post, but this gots new stuffages so it's all good. Today we got a boatload of new Final Fantasy Type-0 screens and the game looks gorgeous: [Image: rbqPb.jpg] [Image: hZ18n.jpg] [Image: Vp4dn.jpg] [Image: jA6aP.jpg] [Image: 9VoLB.jpg] [Image: en7Gr.jpg] [Image: Wn58O.jpg] [Image: ubelk.jpg] [Image: bcBEE.jpg] [Image: HNRpd.jpg] [Image: Kf5Zd.jpg] [Image: VlzdM.jpg] [Image: wNXwk.jpg] [Image: Wxt2B.jpg] RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Dude - Mar. 24, 2011 (Mar. 24, 2011 6:51 PM)To Wrote: the game looks gorgeous: I guess we don't have the same ideas of 'gorgeous' It's just okay, if you ask me. Not even better than, say, Crisis Core. Hell, I can see the polygons... If it was on PSP it would look a lot better. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - To - Mar. 24, 2011 You're remembering Crisis Core incorrectly. That game features much smaller draw distances, and usually didn't have such detailed backgrounds, and character models outside of the cutscenes. Edit: It is on the PSP... You do not know what a DS game looks like if you think Type-0 looks like one. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Dude - Mar. 24, 2011 Well yeah, maybe Crisis Core wasn't so great. But I stand by what I said. It's not that good-looking. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Vongola-Hibari - Mar. 24, 2011 (Mar. 24, 2011 7:05 PM)To Wrote: You're remembering Crisis Core incorrectly. Oh...................................I stand corrected. I was thinking about something else. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - Dude - Mar. 24, 2011 Never said Crisis Core sucked, I reckon. The gameplay for Type-O looks kind of like Kingdom Hearts... If I can control the characters' mouvements, maybe I'll play. RE: Gaming Random Thoughts - To - Mar. 24, 2011 For a PSP game, it is. It's impressive enough that Square Enix didn't release bullshots (images that have post processing done to remove jaggies, and rendered at a higher level than the handhelds could) for it, which is quite the change of pace for them given this is what they said Birth By Sleep would look like: [Image: kingdom-hearts-birth-by-sleep-2009092400...6_640w.jpg] While it does look close to that (it's one of the PSP's best in terms of visuals), it still has a jaggies (even with all the options turned on that will devour your battery), and the colours are not as vivid thanks to dithering. I stand corrected once again. |
