OMG I laughed SOO hard at that Piccolo, but now the big question about Jessie... was she 14 to start with back when Ash met them in the second episode or what? Even that doesn't make sense because Ash was 12 when it STARTED and now it's like what... 3-6 years later? He's a Teenager now and Jessie is only an adult now?

Ash was ten when it started. You can leave Pallet Town at ten years old.

Actually, where do they get money from?
Ash's mother is never shown working, Ash doesn't have a job, I can't imagine the government would support him if he's dropped out of school.
Maybe he wins tournaments etc, but that's never mentioned.
In the games you make money from defeating opponents, but that never appears to happen in the show.

Yeah, they don't really ever talk about it, but they are eating Pokemon. This gets mentioning in the Sinnoh mythology in Diamond/Pearl.

Actually what I said I took straight out of the commentary in the first pokemon movie (can't remember the name but it had mewtwo) on the dubbed dvd that I rented once.
I guess there opinion turned out to be true hahaha.
