RE: Random Thoughts - Bey Brad - Nov. 18, 2007 I dunno, I read it somewhere. I'm searching around Google and the ages listed don't seem consistent at all. RE: Random Thoughts - sam's temp - Nov. 19, 2007 [Image: Piccolo2-1.png] RE: Random Thoughts - Train - Nov. 19, 2007 OMG I laughed SOO hard at that Piccolo, but now the big question about Jessie... was she 14 to start with back when Ash met them in the second episode or what? Even that doesn't make sense because Ash was 12 when it STARTED and now it's like what... 3-6 years later? He's a Teenager now and Jessie is only an adult now? RE: Random Thoughts - Bey Brad - Nov. 19, 2007 Ash was ten when it started. You can leave Pallet Town at ten years old. RE: Random Thoughts - PRINCEcharming - Nov. 19, 2007 Crimson Wrote:[Image: hothothot.jpg]Yeah, imagine what those fun-bags would be like after she's been up the duff a couple of times. ~ Tamer Brad Wrote:Ash was ten when it started. You can leave Pallet Town at ten years old.Yup, and leave school to go fight 800lb monsters, risk life and limb, somehow survive without any kind of income, and forcibly breed animals of differing species in order to accomodate your career making the offspring fight other creatures. Actually, where do they get money from? Ash's mother is never shown working, Ash doesn't have a job, I can't imagine the government would support him if he's dropped out of school. Maybe he wins tournaments etc, but that's never mentioned. In the games you make money from defeating opponents, but that never appears to happen in the show. RE: Random Thoughts - Elmo - Nov. 19, 2007 maybe money isn't an issue in the pokemon world? RE: Random Thoughts - Train - Nov. 19, 2007 Found this site about ages... http://www.lanceandeskimo.com/angel/pokeage.shtml RE: Random Thoughts - G - Nov. 19, 2007 PRINCEcharming Wrote:Actually, where do they get money from? It's anime; there doesn't need to be any logic for it. RE: Random Thoughts - Bey Brad - Nov. 19, 2007 Ozuma Wrote:Found this site about ages... http://www.lanceandeskimo.com/angel/pokeage.shtml Quote:One official listing from Nintendo said they were twelve. Twelve! This is completely insane. No twelve-year-olds look like that. Gary is twelve and he has a convertible full of women. I have no problem believing she's twelve. It's anime. EDIT: With that said, she probably isn't twelve. Did anyone else notice that they eat tons of meat. And there are no animals in Pokemon. So are Pokemon like animals? So does that mean... smoked mudkip philo pastry? RE: Random Thoughts - Bey Brad - Nov. 19, 2007 Yeah, they don't really ever talk about it, but they are eating Pokemon. This gets mentioning in the Sinnoh mythology in Diamond/Pearl. RE: Random Thoughts - Elmo - Nov. 19, 2007 hmmmmmm Is is possible to Google bomb this page so that it appears at the top of the list when the search criteria is "beyblade"? (how do you Google bomb a page? O_O) RE: Random Thoughts - sam's temp - Nov. 19, 2007 Tamer Brad Wrote:Yeah, they don't really ever talk about it, but they are eating Pokemon. RE: Random Thoughts - Bey Brad - Nov. 19, 2007 sam Wrote:Tamer Brad Wrote:Yeah, they don't really ever talk about it, but they are eating Pokemon. This gets mentioning in the Sinnoh mythology in Diamond/Pearl. The following is ACTUAL TEXT FROM THE GAME: A young man, callow and foolish in innocence, came to own a sword. With it, he smote Pokémon, which gave sustenance, with carefree abandon. Those not taken as food, he discarded, with no afterthought. The following year, no Pokémon appeared. Larders grew bare. The young man, seeking the missing Pokémon, journeyed afar. Long did he search. And far and wide, too, until one he did find. Asked he, "Why do you hide?" To which the Pokémon replied... "If you bear your sword to bring harm upon us, with claws and fangs, we will exact a toll. "From your kind we will take our toll, for it must be done. "Done it must be to guard ourselves and for it, I apologize." To the skies, the young man shouted his dismay. "In having found the sword, I have lost so much. "Gorged with power, I grew blind to Pokémon being alive. "I will never fall savage again. This sword I denounce and forsake. "I plead for forgiveness, for I was but a fool." So saying, the young man hurled the sword to the ground, snapping it. Seeing this, the Pokémon disappeared to a place beyond seeing... Thank them for the meals they provide, and pick their bones clean. When the bones are as clean as can be, set them free in the water from which they came. The Pokémon will return, fully fleshed, and it begins anew. RE: Random Thoughts - Roan - Nov. 19, 2007 Wow. That's some surprisingly deep carp. RE: Random Thoughts - Bey Brad - Nov. 19, 2007 There's a church in Hearthome city that has an interesting quote, if I find it/turn the game on I'll post it. RE: Random Thoughts - Crimson - Nov. 19, 2007 I bet Miltank make some damn good steaks. RE: Random Thoughts - Train - Nov. 19, 2007 Free ranged Farfetch'd? Grain-fed Farfetch'd? Psyduck a lorange? RE: Random Thoughts - sam's temp - Nov. 19, 2007 Actually what I said I took straight out of the commentary in the first pokemon movie (can't remember the name but it had mewtwo) on the dubbed dvd that I rented once. I guess there opinion turned out to be true hahaha. Pikachu Burgers. RE: Random Thoughts - Guitar_Legend - Nov. 19, 2007 I just noticed how this is the first time in months I've stayed this late on a school night... I missed this forum.
