She found out from another girl that I liked her and she told me I wasn't her type, but that we can still be friends. The friend zone sucks but just be nice to her because if you are rude then she will tell her friends. If you are nice the chances of getting a chance with a different girl go up slightly but if you are rude go way down. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Viral - Jul. 26, 2011 the point is not to let them know you like them ask her if you can walk with her then tell her jokes do that for a while until she kinda likes you or thinks your cute then tell her you like her RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - ElevatorMadness - Jul. 26, 2011 (Jul. 26, 2011 10:14 AM)mailz0rr Wrote: the point is not to let them know you like them ask her if you can walk with her then tell her jokes do that for a while until she kinda likes you or thinks your cute then tell her you like herWhat's the point. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Temporal - Jul. 26, 2011 I'm not really seeing much point in a relationship as such young ages. They hamper the idea in general. Though I probably don't understand due to the reasons I'd ask a girl out. If a long-term relationship isn't likely, then I don't see the point. Again, that's just me. I say wait until after your freshman year in highschool. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Greimatter - Jul. 26, 2011 (Jul. 26, 2011 9:56 AM)CrystalGrabber Wrote: There was this girl I liked. Not in a bitter or immature "haha, I'm ignoring you" sense, more in the "I'm busy and forgot about you" sense. She'll wonder why you're ignoring her, you say you've been busy. You'll notice she suddenly seems more interested. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Temporal - Jul. 26, 2011 That's still pretty cheap. If she doesn't like you, she doesn't like you. Get over it. I got shot down 9 times at homecoming, and I didn't resort to any moves like that. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Hero of Ooo - Jul. 26, 2011 Ok if someone doesnt understand love its you Temporal. I mean you should NEVER give up on love no matter what. If you like a girl/boy dont let one rejection get to you, keep on trying. And no one is too young for love, NO ONE. Plus Everybody knows what love is once they found it. So dont say this stuff anymore Temporal, ur setting a bad example for couples everywhere. (No offence for this whole post.) RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Temporal - Jul. 26, 2011 Different people, dude. Different people. And yes, I was trying too hard. That was kinda the point. Besides, at 12, most (Only to avoid offense. More likely all) people don't know what a relationship is. Hell, as for the 10 year old guy referenced earlier, he can barely SPELL relationship, let alone know how one works. More people missing the mark. If you're 12, IT'S NOT LOVE! People throw the word around so much in today's media, it means almost nothing anymore. Like "antidisestablishmentarianism", it's become a word that people love to throw around, but don't understand. (No offence for this whole post.)There are most definitely many instances to give up on love. (Jul. 26, 2011 5:10 PM)Temporal Wrote: Different people, dude. Different people. Stop using a person's literary skills as a benchmark for the worth of their message. It makes you dumb. If you're 12, it could be love. You can love at any age. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Temporal - Jul. 26, 2011 Thank you, Deikailo! Essentially, what I mean to say, she summed it up in a few words. As for that last part, I'm pointing out that being that age (10) is nowhere near old enough to know what a relationship even is. I was using the "spelling" idea to denote that he was a bit young, not to bash anyone. Plus, the guy didn't post here, he was referenced to by someone who claimed having a girlfriend made you popular, and he needed one to survive I wouldn't even know his exact spelling, I was referring to his age. I wasn't being mean, I was pointing out that popularity at that age means almost nothing. Though I CAN see how that can be taken the wrong way. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Hero of Ooo - Jul. 26, 2011 Well i cant argue with ur beliefs, but please dont say that stuff anymore Temporal, who knows you could of caused like 20 couples to break up because of what u said RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - th!nk - Jul. 26, 2011 (Jul. 26, 2011 5:09 PM)CyberPegasus29 Wrote: Ok if someone doesnt understand love its you Temporal. As much as Deikailo has said this, there are a great number of circumstances where you need to give up on love. It is a powerful thing, and many will use and abuse it to get what they want, for entertainment, or whatever. And some people are too young for a meaningful relationship. We're talking from experience and hindsight, so if you wish to carry on arguing this point, just keep in mind the fact we've been there. Also, cease telling Temporal to stop posting. He has been an excellent poster in this thread, unlike you, who has very, very little understanding of the harsh realities of life and love. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Temporal - Jul. 26, 2011 @CP: ...Don't care. If they break up because of da internets, it wasn't love, it was infatuation. Essentially, what Th!nk said. Hah, I HAVE a girlfriend, so I don't see what you people are getting at, saying I don't know anything. Hopefully, you take my advice to heart, and realize that infatuation is fleeting, and it goes in a while. ACting on them, however is a terrible idea, and will only cause hurt. Speaking from experience. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Hero of Ooo - Jul. 26, 2011 To me love is a thing i dont give up on. Im a person who doesnt give up on anything important to me. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Temporal - Jul. 26, 2011 Meh, that's you. It's gonna end up in a pile of hurt for others later, however. Chasing someone that doesn't like you is really unfair and selfish. It hurts not only yourself, but all involved. If you look beyond yourself, you'd find that being stubborn is a terrible idea. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - Hero of Ooo - Jul. 26, 2011 I wouldn't try that hard! I just wouldnt give up. But I do understand wat ur saying tho. Not everyone trails off the yellow brick road like u. Regardless, it comes off as desperate, Cyber. Very much so. RE: Boy/girl friend Thread - th!nk - Jul. 26, 2011 I'm a male and I'm sometimes on the end of this from people of either gender. It's creepy. I've also done it myself. It's creepy, painless, and pointless. Also, as I've said, you haven't met the harsh realities of life and love yet, CyberPegasus29. When you finally realise someone's abusing it, you'll understand. It'll more than likely happen eventually.
