In my country Singapore, Basalt Horogium is out at the local shops. Its Sonokong though, costs around $25 USD. Yep, the SK Beafowl I ordered was sent this past saturday (the other SK maximum serie blades had the same release date). If it's a pre-order, the sellers usually mention it on the product info section. I just got my first Killer wheel today and Basalt is actually smaller than Killer.. unless SonoKong's Killer is wider than Takara Tomy... My Killer wheel is just about wider than my Earth wheel even. Could you concretely measure your Metal Wheels with a tape ? RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - Jaems1 - Feb. 09, 2011 Earth = 4.5cm http://www.imagebam.com/image/98eb63118825211 Killer = 4.5cm http://www.imagebam.com/image/074b5d118825455 Basalt = 4.2cm http://www.imagebam.com/image/2dd0dc118825174 RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - funkyblader - Feb. 09, 2011 is basalt really THAT tiny!? To bad the weight distribution is messed up due to the "staircase" in the metal wheel. RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - funkyblader - Feb. 09, 2011 maybe if you put the gil cw on basalt, it might make it abit more balanced RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - Jaems1 - Feb. 09, 2011 (Feb. 09, 2011 10:46 PM)funkyblader Wrote: maybe if you put the gil cw on basalt, it might make it abit more balanced^ (Jan. 23, 2011 7:30 AM)Diamond Wrote: Gil is only slightly unbalanced while Basalt 'lost' a whole chunk of metal, so using Gil (or any other Clear Wheel) wouldn't have much effect. ... RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - BasaltHorogium - Feb. 09, 2011 Basalt may be small, but it's defense is countering that's why it's unbalanced, and it's better to keep horogium clear wheel or bull's clear wheel and add a MF-H to it because the heavier it is, the better the counter!!! Its wheel looks pretty big that could maximize ts defense. Sorry its metal wheel looks pretty big to maximize its defense. RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - BasaltHorogium - Feb. 10, 2011 Basalt Wheel = Counter Defense MF-H Basalt Bull GB145MB/WB = Maximum Counter Defense Key: Heavier the Defense Better, Counter Defense. After all, it can be Hell Kerbex BD145DS!!! RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - th!nk - Feb. 10, 2011 If it's small, then it's harder to hit, and more compact. I don't see how that's bad at all. Waiting for mine to make its merry way from korea is painful... Anyways, has enough testing shown whether or not Basalt is an ideal defense combo? The chunk missing from it looks like it'll unbalance it easily. RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - Kai-V - Feb. 10, 2011 No "proper" testing was done with Basalt yet actually ... Only specific, 'unorthodox' combinations were tested. I just measured my 'Evil' and got the same as Jaems, Kyoganken must have got it wrong ... Well mystery solved for that, it was one of those moments for people when they get numbers mixed up. He used the same measurement as the weight for the Killer metal wheel. Quote:Weight: 31.2g Diameter: 31.2mm So the real measurement is what i've near enough provided (excluding the mm). MB has pretty good defense, and is the heaviest bottom available too. RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - Ultra - Feb. 10, 2011 MB does not have good defence. It is much more suited to stamina because defence bottoms need friction which metal bottoms have a lack of, MB being not exception to this. I really doubt the B bottoms are better than rubber ones at this tbh. RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - lightninglibraX - Feb. 11, 2011 what he's saying is counter defence. which im sure means that it moves after being hit and "counters". since RS and RSF cannot move as much as MB or WB (because of friction) they don't have as much "counter defence". thats what i htink he's saying. also do we knw when "proper testing" may be dun? cuz im getting it tonite so it wont come for a while RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - beybattlezone - Feb. 12, 2011 i have basalt horologuim, its good in counter attack and i dont notice the effect of the slope in the metal, its a very good bey.questions?pm me please RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - Azlanslayer - Feb. 12, 2011 ^ We already knew that. Its rather good since the recoil is high. RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - Whatzzer - Feb. 12, 2011 Pretty good for attack I think, counter attack ,if a left spin attack basalt as an attack type, then It would be knocked out due to it's counter attack ability RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - beybattlezone - Feb. 12, 2011 but it wont be able to move as fast with an attack performance tip due to its weight RE: BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD - funkyblader - Feb. 13, 2011 it will move fast if the weight of the wheel is focused on the outside |
