RE: Nintendo 3DS - To - Dec. 14, 2011 Nintendo has finally announced the Japanese GBA Ambassador games: F-Zero: Maximum Velocity Super Mario Advance 3 Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones Kirby & The Amazing Mirror Mario Kart: Super Circuit Mario vs. Donkey Kong Metroid Fusion Wario Land 4 WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames RE: Nintendo 3DS - Shabalabadoo - Dec. 14, 2011 By Japanese do you mean it'll be different in North America or anywhere else? Cool that minish cap is on there. Any word on when? Not like there's 17 days left of the year though, haha RE: Nintendo 3DS - To - Dec. 14, 2011 We should be getting them by the end of this week. RE: Nintendo 3DS - Septentrione - Dec. 17, 2011 Yay, should be getting one this Christmas. Games I will get: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked Blazblue Super Street Fighter 4 Pokemon Rumble Blast It's sad though, that most of the best games are getting released only for Japan because we all know 3DS is region locked. I hate you Nintendo for doing this. RE: Nintendo 3DS - Shabalabadoo - Dec. 17, 2011 So I downloaded my Game Boy Advanced ambassador games today. I'm pretty satisfied! I'll definitely be playing these more than the NES games we originally got! RE: Nintendo 3DS - Pikachu0909 - Dec. 29, 2011 I got a problem with my 3ds. I'm trying to update it but it keeps saying there's an error. I've been trying to redo it but it keeps coming up with an error RE: Nintendo 3DS - Giraton - Dec. 30, 2011 can you post the entire message it gives for the error? there are lots of different errors for the 3ds. RE: Nintendo 3DS - Jay Harkins - Dec. 30, 2011 Keeping my fingers crossed that Nintendo will release the next Pokemon game for the 3DS. It went to a black screen and said- An error has occurred. Hold down the POWER button to turn off the power, then turn it on and try again. If the problem persists, please contact your local customer support centre. for contact details, check the Operations Manuak or vist support.nintendo.com. I have tried repeativly and it still doesn't work. I really want the update so I can use the pokedex 3d and the video camrea app. RE: Nintendo 3DS - Raigeko13 - Dec. 30, 2011 I am really disappointed in the free content in the eShop. I was expecting something much like the Android market... And 4 Swords isn't really fun, since there's no story mode... The video camera update is COOL but it's pretty bad, because of the terrible quality of the 3DS.. And you would think that the 3DS wouldn't decrease quality of past games, but instead improve them o.O I'm not entirely impressed with the 3DS, but I'm not also disappointed either. RE: Nintendo 3DS - Hazel - Dec. 30, 2011 3DS only really messes up the quality of some games - it depends entirely on the way they're mapped to begin with. Since one screen is a different resolution than the other, which wasn't the case with the DS/DSi/DS Lite/DSiXL/whatever other DS shenanigans, it is obvious there will be some quality loss. I love the overall feel of the handheld, though. It's got a fantastic weight, and the analogue stick is smooth as butter - not like the PSP's first shot at a handheld analogue, which was just... ugh. And 4 Swords isn't really fun, since there's no story mode... If you've ever owned a DSi or Wii you should know to never expect anything like an Android market on 3DS. Nintendo's online presence is still quite poor. The fact that I have to buy separate 3DS points cards that can't be used on Wii, or even have an account in 2011 is just appallingly bad. RE: Nintendo 3DS - Hazel - Dec. 30, 2011 Yeah, the fact that they do not use a universal point system really is kind of... difficult to understand. I mean, even from a marketing standpoint, it doesn't seem to make enough sense to warrant the questions forthcoming. I don't remember having an issue with the PSP control stick (though my sister did use it as a nail file) but I can't disagree with the 3DS' being way better. I'm not really a big fan of butter but it's certainly marshmallow soft. I kinda wonder how durable it is. The weight of the console is indeed good and, despite the clunkiness of the charger, it's not nearly as awful to play plugged in as the PSP was. I'd've bought the N64 game remakes if I hadn't got an N64 for christmas... RE: Nintendo 3DS - Jaygrazer - Jan. 08, 2012 I got a blue 3DS! (Wanted a red one D Sadly, I couldnt get Lego Star Wars 3, nor any Mario games, so I just picked up Toy Story 3... Now to find this friend code or whatever... |
