Same thing goes with Beyblade.
It’s the blader that’s actually growing in knowledge of his/her bey. Not so much the blade itself
A beyblade is an inanimate object, that becomes animate through the blader.

I've been winning consistently with the original Valkyrie even to this day with the power of friendship alone. Yes, Beyblades can get stronger.

There are 3 things that could have happened in my opinion
1. Your launching technique got better.
2. Depending on beyblade tip wore down.
3. The More You use a beyblade the tighter the spring gets.( rare but happened with me a few times)
