RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Tech - Feb. 28, 2013 Do you think he would let us buy just one or two things from the lot? Or will he only let us buy the lot? RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Starlight25 - Feb. 28, 2013 @3-Dog You're welcome sir, and thank you so much for leaving great feedback. Tech I plan to update the first post if certain users would like to buy one or more specific item(s) in a lot, however it could also be difficult to explain, so I'll be sure to give it my best to explain in well detail when I have the entire thought process on how to do so and when I have the time. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Tech - Mar. 01, 2013 Alright, thanks. I'll be waiting haha RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Starlight25 - Mar. 09, 2013 Alrighty ladies & gentlemen, and kids of all ages, it took me over a week now, but the first post has been updated. Please let me know what you think, if there's anything I may need to edit let me know ok. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - ridbladebreaker - Mar. 09, 2013 I was wondering if you are selling the zero-g bb-25 dx set? RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Tech - Mar. 09, 2013 Dude, this is a middleman service... RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - vaune - May. 24, 2013 Hey Mark, I‘ve received my lot. FYI, I‘m very disappointed with your middleman service. Do you know that the Burning Kerberous SG shaft (the metal rod portion) is missing? Did you check it when you received it? Or you can’t be bothered to ensure all the parts are intact? Maybe you simply replace it with a spoilt shaft of your own? Whatever the reason is, I‘m sick of your excuses; I will never employ your service again. My reason? I detest your attitude and I abhor dishonest people who went all out to swindle others. Am I maligning/accusing you? The following is for your perusal please... First, your attitude is simply... so what if you had a bad day: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8804481379/ Second, the way you quoted the shipping cost is beyond comprehension. At first you said the estimated shipping cost is over 26USD and asked me to send a payment of 19USD: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8815062452/. However, the exact cost for shipping 1lb 14oz is actually 24USD. When I confronted you, your reply (Apr17) didn’t really make sense to me; miscalculated due to slow connection or wanted to prevent leaving yourself short of the full precise amount?: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8805509415/. And I really have no idea why you told me about plastic gen beyblades, weight and performance. (To sidetrack a lil'; didn’t know slow connection causes miscalculation; I must have been an ignoramus!) And you mentioned that you will check with your local post office (Apr 17): http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8815062810/ Moving on, when I asked you about the packing and weighing again (Apr 21), you told me that the shipping cost is over 32USD: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8815063922/. How did 26USD become 32USD? A difference of 6USD due to a box? Did you really verify the weight with your local post office? And a Gigars G in exchange for a Zeus G? Wow, didn’t know that they are of equal value! Next, I sent the following PMs: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8805669703/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8816256420/ but you only reply to the first PM: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8804479393/ (Apr22) Apr 22: I sent you the following PMs (Afraid that the PM didn’t get send through, I wrote three copies; the content are almost similar): http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8805584723/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8816170150/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8805585735/ Apr 26: You finally replied the following: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8816335222/. Wow, from 32/27/26USD to only 8USD? Maybe you're really that generous? May 01: You claimed that you had shipped my parcel. http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8804480825/in/photostream/ May 02: I had a bad feeling when I saw the “hopefully it’ll arrived there†so I decided to ask for the receipt for the shipment. Didn’t get any reply from you for ~one week; FYI you were online almost that whole week (I have been stalking your profile page while waiting for your reply). http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8815239622/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8804655487/in/photostream/ May 10: Decided to ask again. http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8804695759/ This is your reply: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8815069626/ May 11: Don’t trust you still so I asked for a receipt with the date of issue. http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8804732781/ This is the receipt; note the date of issue, May 03 http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8815061516/in/photostream/ Confronted you: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8804835297/ This is your reply: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8804482193/in/photostream/ You lied. Had a bad week that day and just want to relax? Took you two whole days to relax? Dear Mark, you could have rested one day and ship my package on May 02. However, you didn’t. You shipped my package only after I asked for the receipt. And so what if you did ship the package? How sure are you that you will not “forget†to ship my package if I didn’t ask for the receipt? Hmm... That’s all folks. Above are merely my opinions/thoughts/queries. For other WBO members/non-members who are thinking of employing his service: You may choose to believe Mark (ebay account: thefallenstarlight08) and not me; I’m just providing my feedback as someone who had used his service. P.S. Below is the ebay and youtube link; Somehow I feel that the bidding looks suspicious but I don’t have any proof. Oh well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271182080514&viewitem= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXzobj55B3Y RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Snoop Dog MS - May. 24, 2013 Starlight, ignore vaune. He's just a troll. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - vaune - May. 24, 2013 Like I said, I'm leaving my feedback/thought/opinion/query down as a customer who has employed his service. People can still employ his service as long as they are comfortable with his service, his character etc. If anyone wants to perceive me as a troll, I can't do much about it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8806370349/ FYI, Shining God MS, the lot has only one problem i.e. the missing metal rod. And you're right, I'm currently living at my mother's home RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Snoop Dog MS - May. 25, 2013 You could have just PMed him about the negative feedback. Now someone will think he's a bad seller so thank you for making that happen RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Cannon - May. 25, 2013 (May. 25, 2013 4:07 AM)Shining God MS Wrote: You could have just PMed him about the negative feedback. Other people would like to know his history of his service as well for future purposes as well. You shouldn't be saying anything. This does not relate to you one bit, so you should really stay out of it. EDIT: Also, you have absolutely zero right to tell him off like that via PM. That behaviour would indeed result in a warning - getting pissed off, about something you have no position in, calling him a troll, which he isn't, and for thinking you can control him. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Snoop Dog MS - May. 26, 2013 Sorry It's just I know Starlight as a friend. Sorry, vaune. Sorry, Cannon I'll shut up. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Starlight25 - May. 27, 2013 vaune It's alright, and I don't mind the strong negative feedback you've placed on me it's good to let others know about my lack of services even though I'll try to improve it. I'll let you know that I didn't check the parts, because I was convince that the previous owner of the beyblade lot would've already placed the 2 metalllic ring bearings within the spin gear for Howling Spirit (Burning Kerberous). If you don't believe it, then fine however I did modify to only 1 thing, which was the Zeus bit beast sticker to make it straight like how it would be shown on the box, because that's how I like the bit beast sticker should be placed. Now I will take responsible for that, but not the 2 metallic bearings because I didn't bother to check on it. Even if I did check on it, and let you know about it, you'd probably ending up saying, oh can you send me the 2 metallic bearings for it from your own beyblade, I might pay extra if you do or something like that. Overall I'll take whatever than nothing feedback from anyone that has experience from my services including my selling & trading on eBay, WBO, and YouTube all together, and I'll take the worst or best of them. vaune also you think the bids the eBay listing for the beyblade lot this http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=271182080514 might have been forged with. Just to let you folks know I am eBay user/bidder thefallenstarlight08/l**h. You think the bids were forged which I am sure with this o**g eBay bidder, well I don't know who it is, perhaps just some kid spoiling up the bid button. The eBay seller margharsh is a very kind woman she even gave back $2.00 of shipping cost back to me because of overcost on the shipping; if you don't believe me you may feel free to make contact with her. To end this folks, you do have the choice to use my services or not, it's all base on your choice. Just remember I am trying to improve my services, and I'll accept anyone including the strong negative people, because it's trying to do business with the variety of all people around the world. Also please do leave a post on an idea to make my services better in the future. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - vaune - May. 30, 2013 Hi Mark, it seems that you didn’t understand the main message of my feedback. The main issue I have with your service isn’t the lack of service but rather your lack of integrity. Another issue that I would like to bring up is regarding the BK SG shaft; again I would like to reiterate that the part that is missing is the metal rod itself, not the two metallic bearings. (maybe I’ll post the picture of the SG shaft this weekend) Furthermore, I don’t understand why you would assume that I would probably end up saying “oh, can you send me the two metallic bearings from your own beyblade, I might pay extra if you doâ€. Any specific reason why you mentioned that sentence? FYI, I believe that I would NEVER EVER ask you to send me anything for I’m afraid that you might “forget†to ship the package after receiving the payment. “Now I will take responsible for that, but not the 2 metallic bearings because I didn't bother to check on it.†– I don’t really get this sentence. You will NOT take responsibility for the metal bearings because you didn’t BOTHER to check on it? May I know whose responsibility is it then that part of the beyblade is missing? Is it my responsibility since I didn’t do a thorough check on your credibility or the quality of your middlemen service? Lastly, for the eBay listing, after reading about the sporkseller/Time incident, I think the bids might be forged. Well, I also don’t know who o**g is. Perhaps he/she might be your other account, your friends'/families' account etc? (Yes, to put it bluntly, I’m speculating that you might be colluding with the very kind woman to get commission from her. My apology if I'm maligning you.) And oh, you didn’t mention about the refund of the shipping cost all these while.. I'm curious to know why did you decide to mention it now? RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Starlight25 - May. 30, 2013 vaune seems I'm now getting into an argument which I may never win, because I have lack of experience doing so. However if your still very very upset with the missing parts to Howling Spirit, then what do you want me to do? Do you want my 1 & only Burning Kerberous that I have or only just the parts to do so? Also you've mention this "...I think the bids might be forged. Well, I also don’t know who o**g is. Perhaps he/she might be your other account, your friends'/families' account etc? (Yes, to put it bluntly, I’m speculating that you might be colluding with the very kind woman to get commission from her. My apology if I'm maligning you.)" I do not own any other accounts execpt 1, thefallenstarlight08/l**h. If your now blaming me for forging bids on eBay then you really must have something on me all because of my lack of integrity & service. Also just to let you know I've paid the extra shipping cost, while you've sent the payment to do so for the lot, however I had to pay the little rest. I'll ask again what do you want from this argument? You want the remaining parts for Howling Spirit, or the whole beyblade of Burning Kerberous (my only Burning Kerberous, http://youtu.be/8udIhv2fj60) from me, in this case you'll be getting a free beyblade from my own expense or what? If your just being one of those people that want something of it, then you just got it. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Martensitic - May. 31, 2013 I know If I bought a large used lot for someone, I probably wouldn't of thought to check the bearings in the BK's shaft . It's just an honest mistake. For buyers reading this, Starlight has been a good, honest seller for quite some time now and many people can vouch for him. His prices are always fair and he always does his best to help the buyer out RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - vaune - Jun. 02, 2013 Hi Mark, like what I’ve said, I'm just providing feedback on your service and also on your character. If you ask me what I want out of this “argumentâ€, I really don’t know how to answer for I didn’t expect anything from you right from the beginning. Hmm.. maybe I just want accountability from your part. FYI, there are a couple of points in my first post that you failed to clarify. You might want to start from there and defend yourself? Good day, Martensitic. Not sure if you have read through my posts thoroughly but please refer to the following link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94789665@N06/8919264379/ Well, I disagree with you to a certain extent that it's "just an honest mistake". If you're providing a middleman service, would you not ensure that your client get what he/she had paid for? Would you not BOTHER to check? Perhaps it is my responsibility too since I didn't ask if the metal rod is intact before buying that lot. Nonetheless, I respect your opinion if you think it's just an honest mistake. And I thank you for your opinion (: To buyers reading these: Yes, many people can vouch for Starlight (aka Mark). And yes, you can still employ his services if you're comfortable with it; I'm not saying you can't. Just remember that I am just providing my feedback, my own experience after employing his service. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - ShinobuXD - Jun. 02, 2013 I think making him give you a free BK would be unfair to him. Maybe he could just refund the middleman fee or something, since it was an honest mistake? Edit: never mind, see Ultra's post RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Ultra - Jun. 02, 2013 Why should he give you a BK? The service your paying him for is for him to buy the lot and transport it to you. Nothing more. I think you're being pretty demanding. No middleman would take the beys apart to check them. Also there was nothing clearly wrong since the SG was in one piece so from a quick glance (which is all any middleman would do btw) there was no reason to check any further. If you bought the lot mainly for the BK then it is your own fault that you didn't ask him to check that the SG was fine. Your expectations are too high. Yes you were unlucky but you were the one who made the mistake not him so stop trying to blame your mistakes on him and use it to extort a beyblade out of him. My opinion is based on several years of buying from middlemen. They will not tell you if anything is in bad condition unless it is really obvious (and even that depends on whether they check over the lot which they are under no proper obligation to do btw) or if you specifically ask them. It is actually common in some place for middlemen to charge you for pictures of an item from a lot. I have been unlucky as well some times and gotten things in bad condition without them telling me before they send it. I didn't flip and ask them for a free bey though. So your expectation that a middleman will check over the parts is far from reality. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - vaune - Jun. 03, 2013 Good day, Ultra. To clarify some of the issues that you’ve brought up: 1) I didn’t say he “should†give me a BK; is entirely based on his own freewill if he wishes to do so. (May. 30, 2013 8:53 PM)Starlight25 Wrote: If your just being one of those people that want something of it, then you just got it. Above was what he suggested in Post#43 instead of clarifying some of my doubts; I interpreted as he wants to end this by sending his only BK which is why I said the following: (Jun. 02, 2013 6:13 AM)vaune Wrote: And by the way, if you really mean what you said, i.e. to send me your only Burning Kerberous, I wouldn’t mind “getting a free beyblade from your own expenseâ€. You have my mailing address anyway. That’s merely my interpretation. Do note that my interpretation might be wrong though. If you happen to perceive it differently, please share with me your interpretation of that sentence. Many thanks. Anyway, FYI, right from the start I didn’t expect any form of compensation from him. [Please look at my first post (Post#35); don’t think I mentioned anything about compensation or anything about extorting a beyblade out of him. My apology if you do get the wrong impression. The two issues that I brought up in my first post are his lack of service which is still the minor issue (i.e. the BK issue), and his character which is the main issue here (i.e. the way he quote the shipping cost and also the shipment).] 2) As for your opinion, I understand where you’re coming from. And I do respect and thank you for your opinion. However, I still believe that the middleman should “check over the lotâ€. It’s alright if you do not agree with me; I guess my expectations of a middleman are indeed pretty high. 3) Sorry if I sidetrack a lil' here. May I know, in your opinion, how much does a Gigars G cost and how much does a Zeus G cost (assuming both are in similar condition e.g. equally mint)? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And good day to you too, ShinobuXD. Thank you for your opinion nonetheless. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - th!nk - Jun. 03, 2013 Shafts falling out of beyblades, even BK's does happen - does the tip have another metal bearing inside of it? The top part and the tip itself can generally be separated but my howling spirit's cannot, so you may be better off just shaking it first lest you wrench it apart or something when it is glued or whatever hasbro did (though that could just be mine). If you can't hear anything then it should come apart as there's no way to remove the shaft otherwise and it should have plenty of room to move. Anyway, the small bearing welded to the shaft at a single point is all that holds BK's in, and it isn't attached all that well (a single weld point - I have one where has broken off). However I sincerely doubt starlight is responsible for it being missing, and what Ultra said about middlemen is correct. Though Ebay is a safer environment than Y!JA (which is where most middlemen operate - and there are instances of getting boxes with Duel Masters cards instead of beyblades on there), it's really not the middleman's fault if something is wrong. If the shaft is missing entirely (i.e. no extra bearing inside the tip), then he could perhaps ask if the original seller can find it on your behalf, but not much more than that (and even that isn't really common, though most middlemen are dealing through Y!JA, on ebay it's a bit easier/more common). If the shaft has separated and fallen out at some point though, it's likely lost forever, and that would be a complete accident. Most beyblade sellers don't know them all that well, either, but if it comes to asking the seller to find it or something, I can get a picture of one for you if you PM me about it. The zeus g/gigars g thing could be perhaps a little opportunistic but nothing much more, especially as you'd get a beyblade you (at least to starlight's knowledge) didn't already have out of it, so it's not all that unfair (given gigars and gigars g aren't *that* easy to find). Honestly, I wouldn't get too worked up about it. Shipping thing, yeah, you have grounds for complaint there assuming what you've said is correct (which no one seems to have argued with - I'm kinda tired atm so not looking into it myself). Partial refund - middleman fee or whatever, perhaps, might be fair recompense. The shipping price stuff - shipping cost can change kinda dramatically if the size of the box or weight passes a certain threshold, so that could be an innocent mistake. I don't have much to say about the weird bidding on that auction, I mean it could be collusion but there's not much strong evidence. If the same person does the same on her other auctions, then perhaps, but yeah. It'd be strange for starlight to be involved even then, given he doesn't seem to have much to gain from it. And yes, customers are absolutely welcome to leave feedback on this forum, and that includes negative feedback. Just my 2c as an impartial observer. RE: [MIDDLEMAN SERVICE] For international buyers - Ultra - Jun. 03, 2013 (Jun. 03, 2013 6:10 PM)vaune Wrote: Good day, Ultra. To clarify some of the issues that you’ve brought up: Uh he was offering to be nice. A used BK is worth at least $20 so if you take that rather than asking for the middleman fee back then he has actually made a loss (and a substantial one at that) on the sale despite not really doing anything wrong. So if you did take it that's a bit dishonest cause your kinda purposely screwing him over. Maybe you didn't know it was worth that much but i'm telling you now so you definitely do. You could say that he shouldn't have offered but any seller who is nice (I haven't encountered any here that aren't btw apart from maybe 2 - 3 in my 3 years here) will offer. Hell i've offered before when someone's bey broke in transit when it wasn't my fault at all. |
