RE: MFB Character Ages. - Kai-V - Aug. 12, 2009

Obviously we could be wrong about everybody's age except Kenta's, Osamu's, Takashi's and Akira's, and perhaps Ginga's. However, as I think was mentioned, a lot of anime characters have weird official ages since they look a lot older. And nothing can be done about that.

Dress Daidouji up in something other than a fancy suit, and I believe he could look younger ... Plus, since he is more or less of a main character, and that, in the past, none of the main Beyblade characters were as old as 17 or 18, it would be very odd to have a 'young adult' in the cast. From what I remember, the only character that was close to being important and that was 'old' was Takao's older brother Hitoshi.

Volkov was also a villain, and there were generally more adults in Bakuten Shoot Beyblade than in Metal Fight Beyblade. A few fifteen-year-olds also have deep voices; it is not impossible, my brother was just like that.

Wait hold on so did you write those ages Kai-V?

Espio and I did, each on our side I think.

As I mentioned, only the ages for Kenta, Osamu, Takashi and Akira are 99% correct and official.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Galaxxy - Aug. 12, 2009

Oh ok I thaught they were really official.
You might want to think them though!
Just Daidouji, Kyouya and Benkei really stand out apart from that I think the rest are sorta ok.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Kai-V - Aug. 12, 2009

Since it appears to be an issue, I will try to discuss those ages with Espio some day.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Galaxxy - Aug. 12, 2009

Kool

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Galaxxy - Aug. 12, 2009

I kinda understand how you came up with them now.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - BeyUK-Espio - Aug. 12, 2009

Following on from what Kai-V has said, I will look at revising these ages when I get off of holiday. Obviously I will need to talk with Kai-V so as we have the same reliable content. The ages we have provided are pure guess work. We could have put Daidouji at a higher age.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - DranzerX13 - Aug. 12, 2009

Kai-V, why not email Takafumi Adachi and ask him what the characters' official ages are.

Hah, I could always try, I suppose. There is no certainty that he would give them.

Hm, good idea actually. There is nothing to lose.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - StormDriger - Aug. 12, 2009

On Bey Spirit i thought Ryuuga was 14?

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Galaxxy - Aug. 13, 2009

They're probably all different.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Kai-V - Aug. 13, 2009

Adachi Takafumi just replied, and while most of the ages are undecided, this is what he thinks :

Ginga : 12-13
Kyouya : 12-13
Benkei : 12-13
Daidouji : is an adult, younger than Ryuusei. So you all were right.
Ryuuga : undecided.
Kenta : 10-11

Ryuuga seems young though.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Galaxxy - Aug. 13, 2009

ill make another section for them in this thing

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Kai-V - Aug. 13, 2009

Hm, even if you think they should all be over fourteen, nothing is going to change or something ... A lot of anime characters are younger than they appear, and I think Nelvana will do as they did with Bakuten Shoot Beyblade and give them older ages anyway.

What I mean is that I do not understand why you would keep complaining about official ages this time ...

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Galaxxy - Aug. 13, 2009

Nelvana probably will.
It's just my opinion I don't realy care if they get changed or not it's just how old they look to me.
But i'll remove it if it makes you feel better.
P.S what does Bakuten mean anyway?

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Kai-V - Aug. 13, 2009

Explosive.

It is just that having a topic just to complain about official ages that are going to be changed by Nelvana anyway seems odd to me.

RE: MFB Character Ages. - BeyUK-Espio - Aug. 13, 2009

I will make the relevant changes as soon as I can.

I so knew it was impossible for Daidouji to be 15, even if Daidouji is still a young adult - he could have been young adult when Ryuusei died (thats what i think), also Ryuuga seems (to me) older then Ginga, but younger then Daidouji (obviously). Smile

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Galaxxy - Aug. 14, 2009

yeah your right

RE: MFB Character Ages. - ReallyRandomTJ - Aug. 19, 2009

Woo go me. Pinching_eyes_2 lol

RE: MFB Character Ages. - DranzerX13 - Aug. 19, 2009

Since Nelvana co-produced Metal Fight Beyblade, not much will be changed. most of the character names will be the same, and i'm sure they'll keep the ages too.

You think Nelvana will keep names like Benkei or Yuu?

Kinda doubt it...

RE: MFB Character Ages. - Galaxxy - Aug. 20, 2009

They'll probable make them similar like Ben or Drew
