I know perfectly well how to convert from centimeters to millimeters.

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Rush - Nov. 02, 2012

I know you know, I was just saying. No need to be aggressive... Anyways' here are the WD measurements from Duo Uranus:

WD Measuements
Tip Length: 1.4 cm
Height: 0.9 cm

Wut. I still got the same measurements... Are you measuring only to the circle and not to the protrusions where the tool tightens the tip to the track? That's pretty much what I did. Measure to the circle, I meant. Anyways, more measurements:

JB Measurements:
Tip Length: 0.95 cm
Height: 0.95 cm

Hm, same height and Tip Length (Notice I said TIP Length. I measured how wide the ball was. Same with the WD measurements). Interesting.

L Drago Guardian's Core
Length: 4.55 cm
Rubber Wing Length: 2.2 cm
Plastic Wing Length: 1.95 cm
Height: 0.8 cm

So yeah, all I had for now.

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - *Ginga* - Nov. 02, 2012

I was measuring w/ the protrusions ...

Without protrusions:

Length: 1.45

There.

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Rush - Nov. 02, 2012

Heh, that's better. Because logically, if you always measure to the protrusions, tips will always have the same length, won't it? Anyways, sorry if I offended you on the mm=cm thing...

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - *Ginga* - Nov. 02, 2012

I see your point. Yes you are correct, after looking through measurements.

And yes, you did kinda. But it's OK.

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - UGottaCetus - Nov. 03, 2012

OK I did some CW measurements. I used a standard ruler. All of these are Hasbro, and are for the length of the top of the CW(No heights or side lengths) I did maximum and minimum lengths for most of them, but some of the minimum lengths were hard to determine(e.g. Pisces has many possible minimum lengths). So:

Rex: Max Length: 3.5 cm - Min Length: 3 cm

Wolf: Max Length: In between 3.6 and 3.7 cm - Min Length: 3.4 cm

Pisces: Max Length: 3.5 cm - Min Length: 3.4 cm

Cygnus(No max or minimum length because it is a smooth circle): Length: 3.6 cm

Byxis(Crack is growing through inside where it rest on MW, but is not through it, so this may or may not count): Max Length: 3.6 cm - Min Length: 3 cm

Pegasus II: Max Length: I got 3.7 cm - Min Length: 3.3 cm

I hope these are accurate. If they are, then Pegasus II was the widest in diameter of these.

EDIT: Just realized some of the minimum lengths were not really needed, but I will just keep them here for reference.

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Rush - Nov. 03, 2012

Here are some more:

MB Measurements:
Tip Length: 0.7 cm
Height: 1.1 cm

ED145 Measurements:
Length: 3.95 cm
Wing Length: 2.3 cm
Wing Gap Distance: 1.35
Height: 1.45 cm

Ketos Measurements:
Maximum Length: 3.75 cm
Minimum Length: 3.15 cm
Maximum Height: 0.85 cm
Minimum Height: 0.55

Pegasis Measurements:
Maximum Length: 3.7 cm
Maximum Height: 0.85 cm

Uranus Measurements:
Maximum Length: 3.6 cm
Minimum Length: 3 cm
Maximum Height: 0.75 cm

Well, ED145 is about the same to WD145, obviously. I will do more tomorrow.
And Ginga, I am sorry. I wasn't suggesting that you didn't know how to convert. I was merely trying to say to convert them so that it would be easier to compare, and it would be easier to post on the BeyWiki. Again, real sorry.

All of my V series Beys (Click to View)
will do the v2 series some day later..but might do the G series first since the SP part could be a mess..
also..the thickness of the AR are measured does not included the bit chip holder..take note of that...
so far..the thickest AR would be Venus..haha...the widest, i believe Trypio..XD

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Kai-V - Nov. 04, 2012

This is what I measured ... Can you check again ?

(Oct. 31, 2012  10:34 PM)*Ginga* Wrote: WD Comparison:

Height: 8 mm 9 milimetres
Length: 16 mm 17 milimetres

M145:

Height: 14.5 mm
Length: 26 mm 28 milimetres

Nocto, I just confirmed your F measurements, so I am damn certain that everything else is great too. How can you even get measurements that are so precise, hah ?

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - th!nk - Nov. 04, 2012

I'll measure my plastics over the course of this week and the next.
However, for plastics at least, even while we have collectors who could help out, I would not expect the luxury of having most measurements confirmed by two or more people, though I guess we will see.

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - *Ginga* - Nov. 04, 2012

Kai-V: I redid my WD measurements, and here is what I got:

From Duo Uranus:

Tip Length: 17.5 mm
Height: 9 mm

For M145:
Height: 14.5 mm
Length: 27 mm

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - *Ginga* - Nov. 04, 2012

E230:

Disk Length: 48 mm (not 50, lol)
Height: 23.0 mm
Upper Mode (how far away disk is from bottom): about 5 mm
Lower Mode: about 3 mm

Could someone back me up, haha.

I have a digital caliper (pied à coulisse). I'll see about taking other measurements of MFB, Plastics or HMS if I have time, but between trying to improve my photographs, taking and retaking some of them, and exams, I don't know when that will be.

digital caliper...haha..thats the best one...i wish i have one to use for this project...that would be the most efficient one...
oh...i'm just using ruler..only can get accuracy between 5 or 10 mm... Unhappy

I knew it!

I was actually about to buy one online, but it would take too long to arrive, so I decided not to, haha. Could just buy one in stores, but it'd cost too much; or so I think.

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Benjohadi - Nov. 04, 2012

yes..in my place..it is not affordable for me..at least..hahah..and it is also hard to find in local store.. XD
having digital caliper is just nice at the moment.. Eee

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Rush - Nov. 04, 2012

More measurements!!!

SW145 Measurements:
Maximum Length: 3.8 cm
Minimum Length: 3.05 cm
Shelf (?) Height: 0.2 cm
Height: 1.45 cm

Fury Measurements:
Maximum Width: 4.5 cm
Minimum Width: 3.65 cm
Maximum Height: 0.75 cm
Minimum Height: 0.55 cm

Grand Measurements:
Maximum Width: 4.5 cm
Minimum Width: 3.85 cm
Maximum Height: 0.95 cm

Grand had a slope, so that's why there were maximum and minimum widths.

Meteo Measurements:
Maximum Width: 4.45 cm
Minimum Width: 3.85 cm
Maximum Height: 1 cm

As always, more later!

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Benjohadi - Nov. 12, 2012

here is a brief question...
as for g revolution series....we have beys that include CEW thing..(is it called CEW or what??)
such as wolborg 4, desert sphinxer, rock bison...
basically..their base have two component...so..should we measure both component or the max diameter only?
because for this type of bey...i dont think it is called CEW???

Eh, all the Beyblades you listed as examples do not have an article yet, so I cannot see what the parts you are referring to look like, hah.

By the way, this Project of the Moment officially ends in 3 days! Hurry up and get your ruler or digital calliper out, because we haven't covered all the parts yet!

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Benjohadi - Nov. 12, 2012

hahah...ok..but taking as wolborg 4 as example as it is quite popular for its usefulness...
its base which is no clutch base...has its own diameter...separating itself from the outer shell that connects to the engine...the outer shell in the other hand has it own diameter..
but i think..wisely...we just include both...

oh yes..checked the thread made by Kei...the one that i called CEW is actually consider a parts of its engine gear...given specific name as well...

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - Kai-V - Nov. 12, 2012

After looking at your photographs, it does seem that the relevant data to measure is the overall width, and the height of the tip.

OK~~

Here are some that managed to measure before i'm going to sleep...

RE: Project of the Moment: Measurement Freaks! - UGottaCetus - Nov. 12, 2012

I did nearly all of my CWs, but I will try to get some MW and track measurments in.

Hmm, 3 days? What stinks is that most of my parts are used so ...
