Both things have already been planned as far as I know lol.

I'm going to bring a camera to take photos so I don't forget people and I wanna get everyone's contact info so that's all good. ^^

See, if my family was more like that, I'd love Christmas. Nobody cares about Christmas anymore in my family. My brother and I both detest the materialist part of the holiday from the core of our souls, my father...is...across town, and my mother tries to act like it should count, but who is she fooling - she doesn't care unless it's Halloween.

I think the best part of December is the fourth, one day before my mother's birthday. My yiayia pays us a visit to wish my mother a happy birthday, and every year my mother tells her that her birthday is the next day, on the fifth. Then my yiayia retells the story oh so dramatically about how the doctor was in too much of a hurry for a Christmas party after my yiayia gave birth tha he put down the fifth instead of the fourth.

Every year she does this, and every year my mother has to hear it. I love my yiayia.
