Tama popularity outside of Japan was at its zenith in the late 90's.
It'll probably never be a fad again, due to smartphones and tablets and such giving people much more variable methods of portable entertainment.

I remember these I had one than I think I threw it away because it was boring or because it died if not then I think it died 2 hours after i threw it away and my cousin had one
