This episode was cool and we got a full overhaul of DB OP!! Basara ditched his friends... Looks like he and Ilya are gonna play a big role in this arc. And I thought Rashad would actually throw away Valkyrie but he didn't, instead he just made a new bey "Greatest Rafael" The name is kinda off imo (Greatest isn't the best choice for a motif like Rafael maybe they did this to match the last name of Rashad...).


And Rashad called his Big Bro by his name (Big F). Rafael's avatar is good and it's gimmick is maybe a counter for Valkyrie's Shot gimmick. Anyways, I was to rate the episode, I would give 8/10. Too excited to find out what'll happen next.

We start out with rashad wanting to get a new bey but he is clonflicted because he likes valkyrie but then valt reaches to rashad and recommends him to make his own bey and this is serve as the last push for rashad to obtain his own bey.

after rashad creates raphael he immediately challages valt to battle then the battle ensues. And in the battle ilya realizes and confused to why rashad change type from attack to balance. oh yeah it was really wholesome seeing wakiya on the phone while cooking with valt also wakiya in this episode calls bell the stupid demon lol. The battle ended up with a tie rashad picks up his bey and rashad finally dropping the term big bro to valt and straight up calling him valt this is scene is probably the best scene in this episode.

The episode was pretty good there are some parts where the characters shines and giving us that really good scene and there are some parts where uh the scene is handeled weirdly like that scene were rashad suddenly poers up like what's up with the transition. Overall 8.5/10 episode it wort the watch just for the op and character intereaction and rashad development

The new intro looks very cool, it feels noticeably more vibrant too, I almost get a Neo Tokyo vibe from some of their colour pallets. From what I can tell, the intro seems to allude to Bell, Ranzo and Valt vs Rashad, Ilya and Basara as the team battle. It's interesting to see how they show as much as possible how Basara is not on Bell's side, and Ilya gets a surprisingly large presence as well. There's also some new characters alongside Hannah... but who are they? Are they new bladers or just more cheerleading characters? I hope for the former. I will say that the end part with Rashad, while it looks cool, the first one where he walks out the flames looks better and fits more. Also, where is Pain? Shouldn't he appear here too?

Anyway, onto the actual episode. Once again, this is only based on what I can understand and what people have mentioned in their reviews, as I can't understand Japanese and there's no subtitles this early. So Rashad wants to make a new beyblade, but he seems too attached to Valkyrie, which makes sense because he really likes Valkyrie, has said many times that it's the perfect bey. I think Valt convinced him to do so, I mean Rashad's been playing follow the leader for so long, so it makes sense why he took his words more seriously.

Rashad finally does so, making the balance type Greatest Raphael. I also do like that Ilya seems to ask why he changed types, especially since he's been using attack all this time. I don't know if we get a response since I can't understand Japanese but I'm sure he has one.

Rashad and Valt battle, though it's just a series of clashes meeting towards the centre, and Rashad uses attack mode. It ends up as a draw, but I can already tell that Raphael has more to show off, as we haven't seen it's main gimmick which the next episode will show.

So yeah the episode was pretty good, adding the small details that I want more "villain gets new beyblade" episodes to have and it was an enjoyable ride. DB seems like it's really starting to pick up the pace, after the kinda boring Beyblade Tour stuff. I really can't wait to see more.
