Which honestly kind of makes sense, as it seems like this season TT has gone all-in on the high LAD driver designs (Venture, Never, Kick, Moment, and most recently Shot).
Hope so, 'similar' doesn't mean the exact driver right? If Longinus still uses Ds' then imo, it will ruin the concept to avoided re-using parts from previous seasons start from Belial to Bahamut which are use brand new driver in the DB system

One thing to note: the packaging for longinus is clear, not opaque black, which means it won't be in a random booster, which was the previous speculation for Longinus' release

If people were speculating that Longinus would be in a random booster, they're really not thinking it through. Not only do you have to fit the prize in there (and since it's Longinus that'll likely mean extra metal on it) but you have to fit the +L gear inside too. It'd be wayyyy too heavy if it was a random booster set, given that the +L gear seems to be an Armor specifically designed for Dynamite/Devil that may not fit on other releases at all and that's a significant bump in weight.
That's ignoring that the other gear releases are all in starters or boosters. It just doesn't make any logistical sense.

Yeah, in side of marketing guess Dynamite Belial or even the DB bey series will be drop if that's happened, imo people buying Belial to evolve it with full gears, but how with Spriggan that rumored to be Triple Boosters Set, it will cost more money to achieve Perfect Belial then?

Probably, though the details are still unknown about that and you're getting a lot more than just Spriggan with the purchase as well. If achieving the Perfect Belial is all you care about it'll suck a bit, but if you care about the contents of the triple booster too it's not so bad.

Lucky us if it triple booster set. Spriggan is rumored to be customized set which is more expensive.

My biggest guess is they tried to hide Rashad new DB bey, which probably also come with customize set.

Customize set usually come with 2 anime characters bey. Since currently Rashad is the only one doesn't have DB bey, thats my guess

If DB Longinus does have a Ds like driver, then I hope it’s basically Iron but with Ds’s Ring. It could also be a Jolt like tip with Ds’s ring as well, but I hope the former is true.

Girl Character still long way to go, and Spriggan set is suppose to released on August which is not possible for character development for such short time.

since the anime is sorta teasing Rashad upgrading soon, it makes me believe that his new bey will release with Spriggan in August and Longinus is in September.. therefore the Girl Blader will most likely appear in October or November (December and January is too late).
As for Longinus having Ds', i really hope that is a mistranslation.. as much as I love Ds', if TT is gonna start reusing drivers, I'd rather it be Jolt' or a better recolor of Spiral'.

October usually isn't the antagonist bey. Legend Spriggan, Revive Phoenix, and Lucifer were released in July and were used by the main antagonist of their respective season. Prime Apocalypse and Genesis were the only exceptions as Diabolos released in July and wasnt used by the antagonist.
