Edit:(spoiler) and the fact that Lane ends up breaking his launcher from pushing his limits just battling lui, at this point lui may be arguably stronger than  free (At least in some areas). Either way, lui is clearly much more of a challenge than free for lane.

actually the last time lui fought free he lost that was during the god bladers cup . lui won their first match they battle keep in mind free didn't have that super saiyan vein mode at that time . even the manga put free over lui In ranking the difference between lui and free and why lui look stronger is cause of his aggressive way of battle he Doenst waste time he goes straight for the death blow. while free Is just a trolling type of bladers he only fight serious if you are strong of not his going to do. that hand spin thing or weak launches which for some may look boring plus the fact that he is a stamina blader.

well just to put it out there you are comparing the manga with the anime which in beyblade at least is somwhat different. so yeah i feel that free and lui are more on the same level, but i can expect the battle to more intense with lui

When we see him on the box art he is probably just showing of Lucifer's powers (the bey is purple). But I do think he uses Dark Resonance, but hasn't given into being Evil....at least yet.

So the theory is, I believe Lucifer has possessed Lane, sorta like what happened with Shu becoming Red Eye. However rather than full on control of Lane's body, its sorta half and half. He has Let Lucifer control him to an extent, so he can use its powers. Im guessing he wanted to get stronger after learning with Shu, but couldn't do it on his own. I believe Zeutron's theory is right as well: Lane wanted to gain more power, and he heard of the first ever sparking bey. He wanted to have this bey since its rumored to hold unspeakable powers. So he went and stole it. So Lucifer is his main bey, but he also uses Uranus.

If we see im break free from his lust for power and want to become a strong blader naturally, I believe he will abandon Lucifer then only use Uranus. He technically stole it, but noone was using it anyway, and the WBBA will let is slide. I think this change will happen after suffering a huge defeat by Hyuga and Hikaru in the middle of sparking. Afterwards for the second half there will be no real threat, just battles at the legends festival. Uranus in mythology is still a villain, but in beyblade he can be used normally (like with satan).

side note: during battles I believe Lucifer is the one that takes control the most. In the leaked panel with Lucifer in the stadium with Lane behind him, notice his posture. He's hunched over and has a scary face. He also has his hands like claws, as if he expects to have them. He looks like a monster. This is not confirmed until we see one key indicator I think: What Lane's like during battles. Outside he's always looking for the next battle and more destructive, but still somewhat chill. If he's more wild and unrefined during battles, I think that almost confirms this theory. The change would be noticeable but not too obvious I believe, cause it would make sense to not make it to obvious that a dark angel is in your body, and you have to use it to win battles. Thats almost like cheating.

Beys special moves almost never come from their mythology , and can we not start anything with possession the only time a bey has possessed it's owner was with spriggan requiem and that was with the complete influence of the snake pit, bladers make faces like that all the time it's weird but extremely common.

I dont hate Chouzetsu and it can be enjoyable, but it has so many flaws.
kind sucks cause the concept is great, just executed poorly. Chouzetsu  Muteki Blader is a banger tho.

Totally agree. Phi should never have been the main antagonist but rather another one of the bladers Aiga must face on his rise to the top and I honestly think we didn’t really need an antagonist that season nor should any beys have been broken. It should have been about Aiga’s promise to beat Valt one day and not that evil resonance garbage.

I think dark resonance is fine. It’s just a visual representation of a unhealthy bond with your bey, but sadly they used it as an excuse to give Aiga plot armor. The story should’ve been focused a lot more on the path to best Valt tho, it kinda just went off the rails. The only beys that really needed to be broken we’re winning to show sugar truly to far gone, and z Achilles. However Valt should’ve also broke it in the anime. It hammers home the point that “woah valt broke a bey, this is serious! Aiga really is to far gone, and he needs to start anew.” In the anime it’s just “raaah bad guy broke my bey I need a new one to get back at him. Also bad resonance bad.”
