RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Ichida - Jan. 30, 2008 My guess is Nintendo decided to play it safe and prevent the possibility of turning Smash into Halo. RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Roan - Jan. 30, 2008 Seriously Ichida, don't be stupid. We should at least have the choice of voice chat with those who are on our friends list. Like I said, I don't mind not being able to talk to people I don't know; I actually prefer not to. But I DO want to be able to chat with my friends while I play the game. Christ, if the PS2 can support voice chat in-game online, there is NO excuse for Wii games not being able to. RE: Super Smash Bros. Like it's hard to guess at anyways. hahaha see nintendo is more like apple than we thought and dude, smash turning into halo? you are such a sheep. let me give you a tip: it's human nature. such behavior is not limited to the evils of "teh xbox" RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Ichida - Jan. 30, 2008 But it is the most prevalent example, which was the reason I referenced it. I know full well how douchebaggy people can get, even outside of XBOX Live. RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Roan - Jan. 30, 2008 Stop caps locking Xbox ffs. RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Kei - Jan. 30, 2008 A headset for Wii needs to be introduced, it's obviously possible considering the DS is capable. I agree with Roan/Artie/Brad on this one, voice chat with friends would have made this game so much better than it already will be. Even having voice chat before and after games would be better than having no means of communication at all. RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Tototototototo - Jan. 30, 2008 That's true. I didn't even consider that people would be using voice chat while playing with close friends, haha. I kind of just assumed it would go like most Halo games I've played, where it was just random people on the internet. You're right, that feature would be really cool... RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - sam's temp - Jan. 30, 2008 you know on xbox live its pretty easy to either take off your mic or mute someone. in halo if there is an carp all I do is press the back button, find his name, press x and whala, muted. takes me about 2 seconds. also saying this is halo/xbl exclusive, i've seen more assholes in gears of war than it lol. RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Roan - Jan. 30, 2008 sam Wrote:you know on xbox live its pretty easy to either take off your mic or mute someone. I know you can easily mute people, I just prefer not to even turn my mic on when I'm playing alone. And when I play with a friend (Mostly Artie) we almost always go into private chat anyway. RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - sam's temp - Jan. 30, 2008 i know but for people like me i need the mic for tactical usage lol RE: Super Smash Bros. Also, same carp FS as Fox and Falco? Lame. Seems like many of the guys like Ganondorf, Falco, Luigi, Toon Link, etc, are still clones (yeah even their FS are the same, or very similar, in some cases like Ness and Lucas). RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - SK - Jan. 30, 2008 Ichida Wrote:It's sure pushing for that title. I mean, it's got a lot going for it. A game including lots of characters we love from lots of different games, coming together to not only playout an epic storyline, but deliver it with the calibur of multiplayer features we've come to expect from this series, and then some. Its multiplayer will give birth to a new layer of competitive gaming for years to come. Add in its beautiful soundtrack, stunning graphics and detail, incredible features such as the stage builder, sharing stages and such over Wi-Fi as well as both randomized and FC Wi-Fi battles. Success begets success. lol you should sell video games for a living, that sounded just like a commercial haha RE: Super Smash Bros. EDIT: More Wolf pictures: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=9537982&postcount=4207 RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Ichida - Jan. 30, 2008 Ugh. like we needed another Fox clone... lame way to round out the roster. Let's see what the localization does to this. Hmm... strangely, I remember Sakurai saying somewhere on DOJO that there wouldn't be any more clone characters. Guess that was a lie. RE: Super Smash Bros. Yeah I remembered reading that too. If this is the final roster, pretty disappointing. RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Ichida - Jan. 30, 2008 Today's update was mostly pointless, though being openly given the decision between Sheik/Zelda as well as either of the Trainer's Pokemon was a nice touch. Some people are pissed that this isn't the case for Zero Suit Samus, apparently. RE: Super Smash Bros. Now that we know the full roster, who's everyone most interested in fighting as? As for me, probably between Lucario, Sonic, and Meta Knight, if I had to pin it to a top three. I'm also gonna try out Pit, Dedede, Ike, and the Pokemon Trainer, though I suppose to complete SSE I'll end up using everybody at some point or another. RE: Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Roan - Jan. 30, 2008 I really want to try out Snake and the Pokemon Trainer. Lucario should be fun too, but I have a good feeling that Toon Link will likely become my secondary character, second only to Sheik. That is, if they didn't totally carp Sheik up. D: Actually, come to think of it, I'm pretty pumped to try all of the characters out, even the old returning ones from Melee. lol |
