I think he's saying that we cant have rings each with the same starting letter, to be fair so far they've followed that rule.

Maybe if they make a new Zeus they can use the letter “I” and call it Infinite Zeus (infinity has been used by a disk not infinite to be clear).

The Disk is called Infinity, but Infinite could work for a Ring. I'd rather see a more interesting I word, such as Intrepid, which could be perfect for Achilles since it references the fact that Achilles is somewhat based on Valkyrie.

I just hope Hasbro goes back to switchstrike for sparking. It’s pretty easy, just make single chassis all plastic and make everything but the inner disk on the double chassis plastic

Well yeah if we're following the rule, but remember its just something as small as names. They prob just wanna keep consistency by not reusing letters, but when they do it still doesn't matter too much. And if we're talking about Guard, that fights cause Achilles is a knight type character, he may be a guard for all we know, or maybe they'll have a focus on shield type moves in the anime.

It's not just a "rule". It's their official format for abbreviating parts. Protect sounds nice, but that sounds more like a defense type. That's just me I guess.

To be honest they could probably bypass that rule by adding double letter abbreviations for the ring so then both the chip and ring would be categorized like that but I doubt they will since they should have enough letters for the rest of the system.

Eternal driver exists and ignite seems like a driver Name than a layer but eh worior achilles seems the most fitting imo

That would be super confusing ex super hyperion SHy Sand Hyperion SnHy like if tt make that it would be super unnatural for the aberration but if they want to then i guess I cannot remember all aberration XD

The only exception so far aside from Plastic and MFB remakes is the Xceed Driver since Exceed Evileye exists, but the different spelling is probably a good enough excuse.

Oh c’mon man are you sure you can’t remember them? We have to take into consideration that we all thought three letter abbreviation names would be confusing too but they aren’t so bad. As long as the total number of abbreviations continues to represent only two layer parts I think we should be fine (since the chassis has its own thing at the end of the name).
