Can you still put the bit chip on the AR? RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Sep. 11, 2014 That looks aweful... Poor Uriel 2 is this really a problem from "golden beblades"? because i saw and heard that other plastic parss also brook when they tried to assemble. i think after that much years the softener in the material went... like the rubber from dragoon gt... it goes harder after so much years. Poor Uriel 2 Of course there are also some other plastics that become a little fragile after 15 years. It´s just that the golden ones are particularly prone to breaking, even in box. Apparently Takara and SK (Hasbro seemed to be using better material, because that "syndrome" doesn´t appear with Hasbro´s Capricorn Strike G, for example) used some low-grade substances for the golden beys. There have been a few discussions about it, like this: Spoiler (Click to View) RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Sep. 11, 2014 It's actually a really damn shame no other versions were made. The AR has pretty good smash points. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - V2 - Sep. 11, 2014 Indeed it does. Perhaps someone with the Hasbro version could test whether it is any more durable? RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Ultra - Sep. 11, 2014 th!nk tried it briefly and I quote found it :"recoily and weak". Also it doesn't look like it has any good smash points to me.... RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Sep. 12, 2014 It looks pretty blunt and heavy hitting. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - V2 - Sep. 12, 2014 He has it on his top tier list, though makes mention of it being prone to breakage. That's probably for the tip, which is the best Attack type tip in Plastics (like the equivalent of GFCUV). The AR doesn't look too impressive. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Sep. 12, 2014 Really? It actually is pretty compacted and evenly distributed. It just works better with a Balance/Heavy probs. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Ultra - Sep. 12, 2014 You don't want an attack AR to be too compact..... Edit: Anyway yes the AR is on the tier list so I guess it's good after all haha. I get the impression you're severely underestimating my experience with plastics. He was definitely talking about Neo Cross Horn, and i'm WELL aware of SG Grip Change Base's prowess at attack. Read his blog for more. And the AR has all the makings for a well-shaped attack AR: Thick, dense contact points carrying a protruding ridge on their leading edge which focuses energy RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Sep. 12, 2014 How do I put Dragon Breaker's AR on Screw Zeus SAR? Wait it's called Neo Cross Horn? Ironic and cool.. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - FT-Sprite - Sep. 17, 2014 All right. So I just got a fairly decent haul of parts in, so I have a wide selection to use in customization. I'm mostly looking for really decent or, high tier Defense and Stamina Blades. My list of parts: Spoiler (Click to View) Spoiler (Click to View) Combos: Spoiler (Click to View) RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Neo - Sep. 18, 2014 (Sep. 17, 2014 11:46 PM)FT-Sprite Wrote: All right. You can't put WB2's SG/Shaft in a Defense Grip Base. That's from Seaborg. I assume you meant Bearing Grip Base, though. So for future reference, Endurance does not fair well without an actually Wide Survivor. 10 Wide wouldn't be a problem if you had Dragon Saucezzzz SAR+War Lion. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - FT-Sprite - Sep. 18, 2014 (Sep. 18, 2014 12:39 AM)Neo Wrote:(Sep. 17, 2014 11:46 PM)FT-Sprite Wrote: All right. I'm used to seeing the shaft of Wolborg 2 as Defense Grip because of Jiraiya MS. I don't know why, just the correlation of the two tips... But other than the ssaaawwwzer, what can be build of it? Oh, and the Wide survivor. That carp is rare as hell, and ain't no way of me getting that. (But I might be able to get a Wide Defense.) RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Wombat - Sep. 18, 2014 It was originally called Defense Grip Base 2, so both that and Bearing Grip base are technically correct (I prefer the latter because it's a better description of the part). In addition to what you have, you can also build: AR: War Lion SAR: War Lion WD: 10 Balance SG: EG Circle Survivor BB: Slow Release Wolborg 4 ver. Until you pick up a Tiger Defenser/second Gaia Dragoon G/Metal Dranzer War Lion + War Lion will work for now. I would recommend using 10 Balance in place of Wide Defense/Survivor rather than 10 Heavy/10 Wide. Also it would be a great idea to get your hands on a Dragoon V2 or just any Left SG in general because so many of your parts are Stamina oriented. Typo..? RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Ultra - Sep. 18, 2014 Um Metal Dranzer is a top tier AR Neo... Typo..? We already went through this in the other plastics thread, Metal Dranzer's AR is probably the 2nd best right after Gabriel's for its role. I'm mostly looking for really decent or, high tier Defense and Stamina Blades. Roller Defense Ring is a ridiculously underrated top tier part, and is the #1 choice for Wolborg 4 CEW, superior to Tiger Defenser. It's also worth experimenting with Smash Turtle and Wing Upper in your different combos just in case. RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - FT-Sprite - Sep. 18, 2014 (Sep. 18, 2014 2:31 PM)Captain Wrote:(Sep. 18, 2014 2:49 AM)Neo Wrote:(Sep. 18, 2014 1:42 AM)Wombat Wrote: It was originally called Defense Grip Base 2, so both that and Bearing Grip base are technically correct (I prefer the latter because it's a better description of the part).Metal Dranzer??? Typo..? Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Really helpful to me. It is actually REALLY hard to use Wing Upper with some combos (Mainly with Wolborg 4's Slow release) without having to modify the parts. (Moving the base of the Wol4 EG and swapping it onto Draciel G's EG so that WU fits). I used to use Smash Turtle in a combo like this: AR: Smash Turtle WD: 10 Wide SG: Neo Right (MW) BB: Customize Metal Sharp SP: Defense Ring Once I get my old collection back, I'll have access to a plethora of more parts. Would look into getting a new Gaia Dragon G, or other... Top-tier parts, but they are either hard to find, or a bit too costly for me right now. Also like the idea of 10 balance in combos. Didn't really think of the balance series being that great... Edit: Anyone know how to get Bearing Grip 2 (Wolborg 2) to stop being so aggressive? Is it a friction problem with the stadium, or just something that happens with the grip being worn? RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - V2 - Sep. 18, 2014 S'all good. Worn tip is the main issue. Aiming it anywhere but the centre, and not completely parallel to flat makes it worse. |
